Welcome
Thanks! But how in the heck did I get a welcome before I even made my first edit? Did clicking the preview button trigger some bot or something? -MagnaMopus 21:38, 9 January 2006 (UTC)
- I'll take this one for you; There is a log of new users and people like him or me read through each of them and give a warm welcome. Link9er 15:08, 11 January 2006 (UTC)

Sao Jose dos Campos
Hello Adam,
I wrote most of the text of São José. Thank God you help me (with my lousy English!!!)
Sorry about the basic mistakes...That was really a nice job!!!

Hello Sir,
I know what is happening concerning the population (1 million or 2 million)...Well, the current administrative name of Vale do Paraiba is Sao Jose dos Campos. That map (from citybrasil) is a microregion (with 8 municipalities) within the other macroregion (also named Sao Jose dos Campos) with encompasses Vale do Paraiba and the North Coast). check :http://www.investimentos.sp.gov.br/regioes/ Regards Cloretti 19:45, 12 January 2006 (UTC)
Article 153 of the Constitution of Malaysia
This message is regarding the page Article 153 of the Constitution of Malaysia and your edit. I realize your intentions were good, but you have to be careful when using Lupin's navigation tools to reverse the work of a vandal. I fixed the problem and can tell by looking at your contribuions and talk page that you're against vandalism. Try to be more careful in the future.--– sampi (talk•contrib) 19:41, 18 January 2006 (UTC)
Vandalism
Hi. Can you point me to the bit I missed? Sorry I missed it! [[Sam Korn]] 14:58, 20 January 2006 (UTC)

- correction of simple vandalism

- No it doesn't. It's a very explicit statement:
attention maam
it is most unfortunate and sad that you should like to reverse scientific and social progress simply because you're on a massive ego trip. Randomly reverting wikipedia entries for the benifit of your own pompousness is simply childish. I hope you will take a less retarded approach in the future.

Your warning to Pinktulip
Hi, Kungfuadam. I saw your warning to Pinktulip. If you're basing it on this, then at first glance, one might think that he vandalized the Mozart article. However, it's important to remember, when you look at two versions side by side, that something taken out by the second editor was not necessarily put in by the first. If you look at the diff for his edit, you'll see it was a perfectly appropriate one. If you look at the diff for the previous edit, you'll see that the addition to which you rightly objected was, in fact, made by 213.189.150.86 (talk · contribs). I wasn't using bitch obscenely. It was vandalism I cleared up ; bitch was an incidental double entendre. If you look back to my edit: 19:32, 6 February 2006 Bordello (Bitch), and the one previous, comparing the two, I have replaced Bitch with Ann after some research. I asked for simple corroboration on the talk page, bitch. (take a joke) Bordello 07:08, 7 February 2006 (UTC)

Godmode Light
Glad you got it working, the original version has a conflict with popups that stops it working. Can I ask which browser you are using as it stoped working for me completely in late December when I upgraded to firefox 1.5. Haven't been able to get it to work since :-( --Cactus.man ✍ 08:10, 9 February 2006 (UTC)
- I am using latest version of Firefox. That must have been my problem too.--Adam (talk) 12:13, 9 February 2006 (UTC)
- All very strange, based on what you said I tried it out again and it's working now ??? But I have a very odd behaviour when I check contributions pages - all last edit entries are appended with [User&token=88f0aa6317bf273db3d0b25f83a72e65">rollback] instead of the usual name and rollback links. Do you get this problem? Thanks. --Cactus.man ✍ 14:20, 9 February 2006 (UTC)
- I don't have any problems with that. Look at my contributions. --Adam (talk) 14:30, 9 February 2006 (UTC)

You can click on that revision, and it will come up. Then click edit page. It will warn you that it is an older version. I can't revert anymore on the page because of 3RR. Just put something in the edit summary. I initally reverted someone else who blanked this, then I reverted myself. Hi. After I noticed that Br Alexis Bugnolo is a newbie, I have reduced his block to 12 hours, which should be over by now. Editing an Edit Summary
I replied to your question on the Help Desk. - ApolloCreed 21:06, 15 February 2006 (UTC)
Alphabetizing interwiki
Hi Kung fu, I noticed that you have made a number of changes lately to the alphabetization of the interwiki. I believe the general consensus is that these should be alphabetized by name instead of by symbol. For example, eo=Esperanto which comes after es:Español. Likewise, fi=Suomi, ja=日本語=Nihongo and should be among the S's and N's repectively. I've reverted your edit to Beaver, but it looks as though you have made a number of these changes recently. --Aranae 01:51, 19 February 2006 (UTC)
- Ok, I didn't know that- I will be more careful next time.--Adam (talk) 03:14, 19 February 2006 (UTC)
Userboxes
There is no reason to delete American English userboxes at all.
Seriously, this crusade to delete userboxes is more polarising than the actual boxes themself. If you care about Wikipedia, and about contributors being happy, I suggest that you treat userboxes as a bit of fun, as that is all they are. --Rob McKay 03:31, 19 February 2006 (UTC)
- I was asking you why you deleted the userbox- I am not the one deleting here.--Adam (talk) 03:32, 19 February 2006 (UTC)
Edit summary
Hi. I've recently found a number of edit summaries on my watchlist starting with "AWB assisted ...".
Starting your edit summary with a link promoting some software makes it slower for me to scan my watchlist. It's also frustrating because I can't even run Windows software on my computer, so it feels a bit like you are spamming my watchlist (no offence intended). Would you mind setting your AWB software so that it doesn't add the promotional link to the edit summary, or at least so it puts it at the end, like "... using AWB"?
If you don't mind, would you also leave a note for the developers whether you agree with me or not, at talk:AutoWikiBrowser? Thanks, Michael Z. 2006-02-20 05:32 Z
Unsigned template
I noticed that you added {{unsigned|IP Address}} to a user comment on AfD and I was just wondering if you added that by hand or if there is a utility that does it. I've seen the "Unsigned" designation added before, but just realized that it was a template. Now I think I'd like to start using it when needed, and automagical is better than by hand. Which is it?
— Bill W. (Talk) (Contrib) – February 20, 2006, 18:52 (UTC)
- You first have to go to the history to see the IP address, copy it and put it into the template- {{unsigned|IP address that you copied}}--Adam (talk) 18:54, 20 February 2006 (UTC)

Agarttha
Hi,
I appreciate that copyrighted material is unacceptable. What I wrote about "Agarttha" was just a gambit to get an article rolling. One "throws one’s own little bolt which fell short obviously and left the others to carry it on."
Regards,
Ulrich.

SPOKEN WIKI
Please say a few words about uploading an audio recording illustrating the issues of an already existing Article; much like a photo, only audio. Apparently this is not what wiki means by spoken-wiki. ---060322--plumalley--

My Good Charlotte Edit
You obviously mistook that edit for something it was not. I believe that one sided reviews of bands or anything for that matter aren't fair to people with different beliefs, and I have thouroughly consulted a large majority of my friends before deciding to add to the description of the good charlotte band page. We all agree that they do, truly, suck balls.

School vs. school
In the case of a generic school, lower case is appropriate. But when it is part of the neme, it's upper case (see Midland High School (Midland, Louisiana)). In the case of Bath Consolidated School, the "consolidated" part meant that grades 1 to 12 were in the school, so any time the full name is spelled out, school should be capitalized. If it were "Bath High School" being bombed, this would be obvious. I would appreciate it if you would revert your edits on this. Jtmichcock 18:48, 22 March 2006 (UTC)

That's a feature in my godmode that allows me to make custom edit summaries. I was typing in IRC, so when the box came up to type in, I accidentally put an "r" in there, which made that edit summary. --Rory096 19:01, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
Revert
Why did you revert my edits on Ante Starcevic??? I made it more neutral, instead of all the other users who were just reverting each other! Your actions are not justifiable at all, you probably didn't read my edits at all, just reverted them one minute after I made them. I demand you apologize! --Boris Malagurski ₪ 03:35, 29 March 2006 (UTC)
Excuse me? I did NOT revert anything, and if you had read the edit, you would've seen that! How dare you accuse me of something I didn't do! I try to help with the dispute, and you threaten me with being blocked?? What do you have against me? Read the edits I made! --Boris Malagurski ₪ 03:45, 29 March 2006 (UTC)
- I read your edits and they are defintely POV and seem racist to me. Other editors have similar view because they reverted it as well. I don't do reverts more than one time, so rest assured, I won't revert your edits anymore.--Adam (talk) 03:48, 29 March 2006 (UTC)
Thats not the point. Those are not my views, those are the views of Historians and Ante himself. The fact of the matter is, this guy really hated Jews and Serbs - he wrote books about it!!! Don't take my word for it, go to any library and read about him. And you're accusing me of being racist? I will not rest untill you apologize to me for accusing me of something I didn't do. --Boris Malagurski ₪ 03:53, 29 March 2006 (UTC)
- I apologize for my comment on the edit seeming racist. However, I am not an admin, and cannot block you. I just wanted you to know about the revert war, giving you a friendly warning in case an admin sees your edit history. No matter the circumstances, exceeding 3 reverts could merit a block. I would just allow some to allow other edits comment on the page's talk page.--Adam (talk) 03:58, 29 March 2006 (UTC)
Andrew Evans
Hi,
My name is Andrew Evans, I am a comedian. I visited a page dedicated to comedians and added my name, when I clicked on the link it took me to Pastor Andrew Evans. I then tried to edit the page so that it would reflect me, when I did so, it told me I was making unreasonable edits. I was simply looking to differentiate myself, from the OTHER Andrew Evans. How might I do that?
Thanks, Andrew
- First of all, the community might delete the page because of non-notablity. Second, it is not good to write an article about yourself, it will probably be biased You may create a disambiguation page however. --Adam (talk) 23:47, 29 March 2006 (UTC)
