Gliding results
Thank you. I wish I could commit to regular participation in updating the portal, but I cannot. I am trying to update the gliding related stuff in pl Wikipedia and to update info on Polish participants in the sport, this already requires more than I have free resources to expend. I will try though to tell people of it, hopefully there will be some who would like to join. About gliding - somehow this tradition keeps up in Poland, since the dawn of the sport (well before WWII). It is very grassroot, despite being rather high-tech and costly. Good luck with your project. Szafranpl (talk) 08:43, 30 August 2012 (UTC)
- Maybe it will be of interest - Czesław Marchaj - quite an interesting biography, few people know. Also Royal Clipper, per Zygmunt Choreń design. Again, few people know. Szafranpl (talk) 09:08, 13 September 2012 (UTC)

WP:FAIRUSE images
Missed the book cover. Removed.
As per the WP:FAIRUSE, clause 1 "No free equivalent" - "Non-free content is used only where no free equivalent is available, or could be created, that would serve the same encyclopedic purpose". The PD-art paintings are enough to illustrate the subject Pan Twardowski. If there were no free images of Pan Twardowski, even then the book cover and film shot could not be used under fair use because paintings based on copyrighted art work may be created by anyone. If the article was about the children's book then no free equivalent (only the copyrighted book cover) can be used to illustrate the book. In this case, fair use applies. --Redtigerxyz Talk 05:34, 26 October 2012 (UTC)

Hey Kpalion! Thanks so much for the feedback. This was my first foray into writing a Wiki article, so I really appreciate it! I had specifically intended to set out & write about the Wawel Treasures, but of course many more pieces from Poland were evacuated during the war, too. I'm sure a separate article could be made to discuss all the Polish works more broadly, whilst this article could remain intact to expand on the Treasures specifically.

WikiProject Poland Newsletter • January 2014 • Issue II
For our freedom and yours Welcome to the second issue of WikiProject Poland newsletter, the Monitor (named after the first Polish newspaper). Our Project has been operational since 1 June, 2005, and also serves as the Poland-related Wikipedia notice board. I highly recommend watchlisting the Wikipedia:WikiProject Poland page, so you can be aware of the ongoing discussions. We hope you will join us in them, if you haven't done so already! Unlike many other WikiProjects, we are quite active; we get close to a hundred discussion threads each year and we do a pretty good job at answering all issues raised. Last year we were featured in the Signpost, and our interviewer was amazed at our activity. In the end, however, even as active as we are, we are just a tiny group - you can easily become one of our core members! In addition to a lively encyclopedic, Poland-related, English-language discussion forum, we have numerous useful tools that can be of use to you - and that you could help us maintain and develop:
This is not all; on our page you can find a list of useful templates (including userboxes), awards and other tools!
It took me three years to finish this issue. Feel free to help out getting the next one before 2017 by being more active in WikiProject management :) You have received this newsletter because you are listed as a member at WikiProject Poland. |

"Slavs" infobox

Food and microbes
Kpalion, there are microbes here who are not interested in making a good work. They are here only to induce hate between nations. You can detect them easily by their rotten attitude. As they are not honest, they can do anything. For instance today they ask for a source for this or that, and when the source is provided they still try to "purge" references to countries, peoples, cultures that they hate, including the sources they themselves asked. I mean the positive -in cases even "neutre"- mentions; negative ones may remain. (And must be increased.) Continue to be a good editor please. Thanks. --141.196.220.161 (talk) 19:27, 29 January 2016 (UTC)
Hi, Kpalion, thank you for your help with the Grodziskie article and for starting the process of DYK on that article. Just out of curiosity, I noticed the link to the Browar w Grodzisku brewery that you added to the article; are their beers available where you are, and if so, how are they? I'd like to figure out how to get my hands on a couple of their beers to see how it actually tastes, since I've written so much about something I've never had an opportunity to actually taste, other than a really misguided attempt to brew it that I made when I first learned about the style. I'd be willing to try to figure out how to do a trade if you were interested in some Northern California beers. Neil916 (Talk) 18:04, 2 March 2016 (UTC)
- I'm eager to try them myself, but I haven't seen any of them in my local stores yet. The brewery was (re-)opened less than a year ago, so I guess they either need to expand their distribution channels or the volume is just too small. But I'll keep in mind to let you know once I have the chance to buy it. I have tried some other attempts at recreating the style, with various levels of smokiness (including one that smelled just like kiełbasa), but they tend to be limited editions, available for short times only. — Kpalion(talk) 19:15, 2 March 2016 (UTC)
- Neil916, I've just been to a pub where they had one of this brewery's beers, but, unfortunately, it was the elderberry-flavored one. I'll keep you posted when I finally get my hands on their actual Grodziskie-style beer. — Kpalion(talk) 22:06, 3 March 2016 (UTC)

Hi Kpalion,
I recently wrote the article Briarcliff Library, and submitted it to FAC, where I'm afraid it might not receive enough attention in time. I would really like if you could make comments; in turn, I'd like to review your FAC, in a quid pro quo manner. Thanks so much. ɱ (talk · vbm · coi) 16:54, 27 April 2016 (UTC)
- Kpalion, I really need your help. Please take some time to take a look! Thank you. ɱ (talk · vbm · coi) 19:51, 1 May 2016 (UTC)

The Lure (2015 film)
Please stop edit-warring. Your changes have been reverted per WP:BRD. The burden is with you to discuss your (incorrect) changes on the article's talkpage. Thanks. Lugnuts Dick Laurent is dead 18:07, 30 June 2016 (UTC)
- OK, let's discuss, Lugnuts. I made an improvement and you partly reverted it. Could you explain why? — Kpalion(talk) 18:59, 30 June 2016 (UTC)
- The article's talkpage, ffs. It's the MOS to have the title the way it is. Look at WP:NCF before embarrassing yourself. Again. Lugnuts Dick Laurent is dead 08:46, 2 July 2016 (UTC)
- I'd stop with your trolling and vandalism right now. You're going against the MOS for film articles. Haven't you got anything better to do? Infact, don't answer that. Lugnuts Dick Laurent is dead 07:46, 11 July 2016 (UTC)
Hi, welcome to TFA, I'll be working on this one over the next couple of hours. - Dank (push to talk) 22:42, 2 August 2016 (UTC)
