Your username

[edit]

Hi. Now that you've "gotten your feet wet" and it seems like you might want to stick around, I'd like to suggest that you reconsider your username. Regardless of whether it actually falls afoul of WP:DISRUPTNAME, if you want your contributions to be seen as those of someone interested in making serious, constructive contributions here, I would suggest changing your username to something a bit less bodily-function-related () using one of the first two choices at WP:RENAME#Venues, before you amass too many contributions under the current name. Just a bit of advice from a fellow editor. Best wishes. —[AlanM1(talk)]— 11:25, 9 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. People will sooner or later object, and that will be disruptive and waste resources in discussion. Please, it is a good idea to just change your username. Many thanks for your understanding. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 01:50, 12 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

My apologies

[edit]

That block was meant for someone else. The list bumped and I clicked on your account instead. I've of course unblocked you... Please accept my apologies for the error. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 21:57, 25 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

How do I change my username?

[edit]

I've heard editors say I should change my username, but I don't know how. Help, please. — Preceding unsigned comment added by KoolBeansFart (talkcontribs) 21:50, March 3, 2019 (UTC)

You were already given the link by user:AlanM1. See WP:RENAME#Venues and follow the appropriate instructions. Meters (talk) 22:21, 3 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I have picked a new username.

[edit]

I am now seeing if Wikipedia will see it.

What do y'all think about The Lego Movie's 2 B.O. performance?

[edit]

I personally think its very low as a sequel to one of the best films of 2014.

Help.

[edit]

I am trying to edit the guest appearances on the Sheck Wes wikipedia page. I do not know how to add 2 columns in one column, like the singles section by him.

Your opinion of AI on Wikipedia?

[edit]

Hi @KoolKabuto:

It looks like you’ve been editing on Wikipedia for a while. Welcome! Glad you took the advice of others here and edited your name. Are you referring to the pokemon Kabuto? :)

I’m a researcher working on Wikipedia algorithms and artificial intelligences (AIs). Maybe it seems a little random to hear from someone like me…if you’ve only been here for a little while, why would we care about your opinion?

You may or may not be aware of them, but the algorithms that operate on Wikipedia affect new editors like you in very important ways. Even if you’ve only made a few edits, we really need to understand how you feel about your initial experiences -- good or bad -- so that we can make sure that the AIs we build in the future do what users like you want them to do.

Would you consider talking with me briefly about AI on Wikipedia? I will send you a $15 Amazon gift card to say thanks. Reply to this message here or send me an email at smit3694@umn.edu and I can share more info and plan a time to connect.

Information icon Hello, I'm Ss112. I noticed that you made one or more edits to an article, Bryce Vine, concerning the updates of review statistics, box office numbers, sports statistics, or some other frequently updated data with a fixed web address, but you did not update the |access-date= parameter in the citation template. The |access-date= parameter is the full date when the content pointed to by the URL was last verified to be working and supporting the text being cited in the article. This means that the parameter needs to be updated whenever the content is updated. If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. [edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Mustard production discography, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page YG (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:11, 6 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Envy Me requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a musical recording which does not indicate why its subject is important or significant, and where the artist's article does not exist or is eligible for deletion itself. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for music.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Anyone for Everyone

[edit]

Good morning,

How has it been collaboratively contributing to Wikipedia and its sister projects?

I would really appreciate your views on the Anyone for Everyone program.

Anyone for Everyone is a campaign to encourage and guide internet users to contribute more to Wikimedia projects. The campaign aims to encourage 19 actions/activities that anyone could do on Wikimedia projects (Commons, Wikidata, Wikibooks etc.) for the benefit of everyone. Can you help expand the list by adding bullet points?

Thanks for weaving the lines and letters that make information neutrally open to the world.

Wildboy and Calboy

[edit]

So Wildboy just debuted at #30 on the Billboard 200, so should we give that a Wikipedia page or Calboy a Wikipedia page?

Do not use chartdata as a source

[edit]

Unless it is an official Billboard source on Twitter, do not use chartdata. Its sources are unclear, as Billboard had not published the data at that time. Thank you. Ss112 03:36, 11 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I just wanted to say thank you for all the info you have given me. It helps me out as an editor on Wikipedia. --KoolKabuto (talk) 03:52, 11 June 2019 (UTC)KoolKabuto[reply]
