File source problem with File:Magee,Mississippi Main Street in the early days.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:Magee,Mississippi Main Street in the early days.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.
If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Nthep (talk) 22:24, 26 July 2016 (UTC)

I have reverted your edit which added verbatim a large amount of text from a copyrighted web site. Unless you have permission to use that, you need to write the information in your own words. HI,
I noticed that your contribution to James Meredith just appears to be a picture of him with you. As nice as your hair is, I think this is somewhat unnessecary. It you disagree, please discuss it on the article's talk page. Thanks. ProgrammingGeek (Page! • Talk! • Contribs!) 18:03, 28 July 2016 (UTC)
A tag has been placed on File:Downtown Magee,Mississippi in the old days.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, pages that meet certain criteria may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. [edit] Hello! Thank you for your recent contributions to Richard Keith (actor). I did have one note for you. I am working on a maintenance project to clean up Category:Pages using infoboxes with thumbnail images. In the future, please do not use thumbnails when adding images to an infobox (see WP:INFOBOXIMAGE). What does this mean? Well in the infobox, when you specify the image you wish to use, instead of doing it like this: |image=
, instead just supply the name of the image. So in this case you can simply do: |image=SomeImage.jpg
. There will then be a separate parameter for the image caption such as |caption=Some image caption
. Please note that this is a generic form message I am leaving on your page because you recetly added a thumbnail to an infobox. The specific parameters for the image and caption may be different for the infobox you are using! Please consult the Template page for the infobox being used to see better documentation. Thanks!! Your edits
[edit]While I welcome your many good-faith edits to Wikipedia, I must mention that I am a bit concerned about your readiness to edit. Both myself and others have cautioned you repeatedly, and much time has been spent cleaning up your grammar and weak edits. At the top of this page you will see an invitation to the Teahouse. Please take a moment to visit, where you will find lots of useful tips to assist you with your editing. Perhaps you may even be able to find someone to mentor you. Thanks for your cooperation. Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Mississippi. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Magnolia677 (talk) 21:04, 10 August 2016 (UTC)
Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Braxton, Mississippi. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been undone.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continual disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Zackmann08 (Talk to me/What I been doing) 17:36, 12 August 2016 (UTC)
- The zip code information that you keep adding already appears on the page, TWICE. It is in the infobox and it appears in the lead, in the 4th sentence of the article. Stop adding it in the history section. --Zackmann08 (Talk to me/What I been doing) 17:37, 12 August 2016 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for August 14
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Magee, Mississippi, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Charles Williams. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Please respond
[edit]On August 9th you made this edit to List of musicians from Mississippi. I reverted your edit here, and left the edit summary "Wikipedia cannot be used as a source". Today, you made another edit to that same article here, and again used Wikipedia as a source. I have already expressed to you my concerns about your edits (see above). What is you plan going forward? Please respond. Thank you. Magnolia677 (talk) 20:32, 17 August 2016 (UTC)
Spaces after commas
[edit]Please be careful to put spaces after commas, which is a normal typographic convention anywhere that we follow here on Wikipedia, too. For example, "John Smith, politician" is incorrect; it's "John Smith, politician." Thanks. - Julietdeltalima (talk) 16:27, 18 August 2016 (UTC)
- You were just told by User:Julietdeltalima to add spaces after commas, then you went and made this edit, where you broke formatting by not adding spaces after commas. Several editors are trying to help you, but you don't seem to be listening or responding. Magnolia677 (talk) 20:00, 18 August 2016 (UTC)
- When you added a citation to the Escatawpa, Mississippi, surely you were doing it because there was a "citation needed" tag. After adding a citation with this edit, why didn't you then remove the citation needed tag? Also, after adding the source, you must have seen the errors it caused in the "references" section. Why didn't you fix them, or ask another editor for help so you could get them fixed? Other editors have offered assistance. Please respond to this message or I will report you. Magnolia677 (talk) 22:43, 18 August 2016 (UTC)
Faulty city-state linking
[edit]Hello Kevin. I have noticed that, among your many edits, you have been consistently adding city-state links incorrectly, particularly in List of people from Mississippi but also in others. You are not putting a space between the comma and the state name, which instead creates a redlink to a nonexistent article rather than a valid one:
- Incorrect: Magee (no space)
- Result: Magee
- Correct: Magee (space between city and state)
- Result: Magee
Realizing and correcting this small error will improve your future edits. Thank you for your help in improving and expanding several articles along the way. If you have any questions or need additional help, feel free to leave a message on my talk page and I will get back to you as soon as I can. — CobraWiki ( jabber | stuff ) 22:34, 19 August 2016 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on File:This is a picture of the Escatawpa River sign.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". famousbirthdays.com is not a reliable source
[edit]Hi Kevin Magee 1. I'm in the process of removing famousbirthdays.com as a source from Wikipedia, because it's not reliable (See Wikipedia:Reliable_sources/Noticeboard/Archive_153#Is_famousbirthdays.com_a_reliable_source_for_personal_information). I noticed that you've added it, and wanted to make sure you understood why it's being removed. If you disagree, let's discuss it. Thanks. --Ronz (talk) 00:58, 12 January 2017 (UTC)

[edit]Please stop. Stop adding copyrighted photos. Stop adding birthdays to famous people who share birthdays with other famous people. Your talk page is littered with cautions from other editors, and nearly every one of your edits has been reverted. May I suggest you take a moment to read some of the help articles on Wikipedia. Or perhaps you may want to find a mentor. I have no doubt your edits are in good faith, but you may want to reflect on your overall competence as an editor. Thank you. Hello. Your recent edit to D'Lo, Mississippi appears to have added the name of a non-notable entity to a list that normally includes only notable entries. In general, a person or organization added to a list should have a pre-existing article before being added to most lists. If you wish to create such an article, please first confirm that the subject qualifies for a separate, stand-alone article according to Wikipedia's notability guideline. Thank you.
