Hullnet

Hi Keith in reference to your removal of the www.hullnet.co.uk link. I am not advertising anything and think my website deserves inclusion on the kcom site. it is offering an alternative to Karoo and has just as much right to be there as the unoffical karoo forum.

I'm not making a profit, I have no connection to any organisation. I am not breaking any wiki guidelines. Please put the link back on, or include it in the Monopoly issues section.

Thanks Al. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Spiderbug (talkcontribs) 19:22, 30 April 2008 (UTC)

The link has nothing to do with the company the article is about and is promoting another service which is in violation of our Extenal links policy. See previous comment of 1 April. Keith D (talk) 19:28, 30 April 2008 (UTC)

Kieth, Karoo forums is nothing to do with the company, how does that stay on as a link on this wiki?

I believe I have every right to show alternatives to Kcom for broadband, I'm do work for another service provider, I'm not promoting them, I've picked them as an alternative to Karoo only.

Give me a valid reason why you allow the Unoffical Karoo forum on but will not allow my link on? and I'll stop adding it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Spiderbug (talkcontribs) 08:43, 1 May 2008 (UTC)

Thank you for pointing that out. The link was in the article for some time and I had not checked through the existing links. I have now removed the link from the page as I have your link again. Keith D (talk) 11:38, 1 May 2008 (UTC)

Hey, Keith. It's been 5 days now since the discussion started at that page, and there appears to be clear consensus to move. I was wondering if you could move the page if you agree that there is consensus, so that we can all get on to bigger and better things. -- Grant.Alpaugh 13:40, 2 May 2008 (UTC)

Incomplete move

Hi, could you please complete the requested move. You missed the talk page [1] thanks.--Zer0~Gravity (Roger - Out) 20:34, 2 May 2008 (UTC)

Sorry for delay in responding I have been away for a break. I have moved the talk page to re-associate it with the article. I wish it would tell you when it does not move it, even after ticking the boxes to tell it to move the talk page. Keith D (talk) 18:12, 7 May 2008 (UTC)

New Project

Myself and several other editors have been compiling a list of very active editors who would likely be available to help new editors in the event they have questions or concerns. As the list grew and the table became more detailed, it was determined that the best way to complete the table was to ask each potential candidate to fill in their own information, if they so desire. This list is sorted geographically in order to provide a better estimate as to whether the listed editor is likely to be active.

If you consider yourself a very active Wikipedian who is willing to help newcomers, please either complete your information in the table or add your entry. If you do not want to be on the list, either remove your name or just disregard this message and your entry will be removed within 48 hours. The table can be found at User:Useight/Highly Active, as it has yet to have been moved into the Wikipedia namespace. Thank you for your help. Useight (talk) 06:48, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

Templates

I hadn't thought of such a thing. I had only expected the population figures to be used in infoboxes (see e.g. South Cambridgeshire), where if you click on the "Ranked 134th" you are taken to List of English districts by population which details the source. I thought this would be sufficient.

What format had you in mind? I tried adding an external link to the template which produces the "2006 est." but this caused it to line break and ruined the layout.--Keith Edkins ( Talk ) 09:45, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for looking at it. I was thinking of a template that would drop in the <ref></ref> tags with a {{Cite web}} template between them. Keith D (talk) 18:27, 7 May 2008 (UTC)

Hi Wikipediac!!! Did I just mess up? I'm not as fast as your Jet. Can you advise - what's happening to my move requests?? Cheers. --Ludvikus (talk) 14:16, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

Can you give more detail on which ones you are waiting for as there have been several that you have requested. Being away for a few days means I am out of touch with what moves have happened and what is still pending. Keith D (talk) 18:38, 7 May 2008 (UTC)

Yorkshirian

There is an ongoing Wikiquette alert regarding this user. Your opinion would be apreciated on this. MRSCTalk 13:44, 4 May 2008 (UTC)

Hello, it's been elevated to Wikipedia:Requests for comment/Yorkshirian, where again, your opinion would be appreciated. --Jza84 |  Talk  15:52, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

Lincolnshire Schools

Do you have any expertise in this topic area? 86.163.86.45 (talk) 20:08, 6 May 2008 (UTC)

Please explain where you think I have been in error in editing articles regarding Lincolnshire schools, it is a bit difficult to speculate over which edits you are referring to. I have not got much expertise on Lincolnshire related articles more on Yorkshire related articles. Though if it is reverting vandalism then reference to the referenced articles is a starting point for verifying the information. Keith D (talk) 18:53, 7 May 2008 (UTC)

If you don't know anything about this topic area, then how can you possibly claim to have the ability to edit the articles in question. You sir, are a twat. 195.200.143.18 (talk) 10:47, 8 May 2008 (UTC)

Please remember WP:CIVIL when making comments. Please indicate which edits I have made that you do not like or think are wrong. Keith D (talk) 10:54, 8 May 2008 (UTC)

Heads up, you might want to check your user page. --NeilN talkcontribs 10:55, 8 May 2008 (UTC)

Thanks I had already done a rollback. Keith D (talk) 10:57, 8 May 2008 (UTC)

But he is a sockpuppet, a meatpuppet, and a liar!!! J'accuse!!! 195.200.143.18 (talk) 11:02, 8 May 2008 (UTC)

I am sorry but you have not as yet said what the article is that you think that I have edited incorrectly. By the way I am not a sockpuppet just a user as you are and you are heading for a block if the disruption continues. Keith D (talk) 11:08, 8 May 2008 (UTC)

What do you know about schools in Lincolnshire? How can you possibly claim to know what is right or wrong? You have no authority on this issue, and I will see that the law courts agree with me. You can block me, you can drag my name through the dirt...but one thing you can never do is take my freedom to edit. 86.166.116.25 (talk) 17:10, 8 May 2008 (UTC)

Well, we can by blocking you. :P. Seriously though, I think you should discuss this on the article talk page. Imperial Star Destroyer (talk) 17:12, 8 May 2008 (UTC)

Please indicate what edit you are referring to. It is pointless talking without knowing exactly which edit you have a problem with. Keith D (talk) 17:14, 8 May 2008 (UTC)

I'm talking about frequent edits on the LSST page, which you reverted straight back just because you think you know better. 86.166.114.163 (talk) 17:19, 8 May 2008 (UTC)

Thank you for the pointer. Looking over my recent reverts it is clearly obvious vandalism or POV statements that I have been reverting which needs no knowledge of the subject to spot. Keith D (talk) 17:25, 8 May 2008 (UTC)

Hull Ref

Can you do anything with this? The wording sounds very famliliar.[[2]]--Harkey Lodger (talk) 17:41, 10 May 2008 (UTC)

May do, but not really a reliable reference, though if its the best we can get will have to go with it. Keith D (talk) 17:47, 10 May 2008 (UTC)

Talk:River Rye, Yorkshire

I think I might have messed up moving the comments page at Talk:River Rye, Yorkshire when I tried to get the name right. Please, will you have a look. Sorry.--Harkey Lodger (talk) 15:08, 12 May 2008 (UTC)

I think you managed to sort it out OK, looks like someone mopped up on the orphaned talk page that you created. Thanks for thinking of the comments page in the move I usually have to go round and move them whenever anyone moves a page if I find it. Keith D (talk) 16:11, 12 May 2008 (UTC)

Jack Hill

He was an England international - I am currently working on an expansion of the article. Amongst the references are www.englandstats.com and www.englandfootballonline.com. Also his Newcastle United profile. Cheers. --Daemonic Kangaroo (talk) 21:43, 13 May 2008 (UTC)

Thanks - but none of those refer to Hull City which is what I was querying. Is it the same person? Keith D (talk) 21:47, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
It took a while for me to pin them together - if you look at the Newcastle profile, you will see that it says in the biography on the left that "Jack moved to Hull City where he would become first a player, then manager, then scout." I hope this clarifies things. Give me 48 hours and i should be able to pull the article together. Cheers. --Daemonic Kangaroo (talk) 22:03, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for that. I have also tracked down this on the Hull City web site which also indicates both names and that he went on to scout for them. I will have to wait for the fuller article when it is produced for further details. Keith D (talk) 22:15, 13 May 2008 (UTC)

I have now expanded the article. If you can expand his Hull career, that would be great. good luck to Hull in the play-off finals. --Daemonic Kangaroo (talk) 06:42, 15 May 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for the note, will have a look. Hopefully they will make it but a bit of a lottery, hope we do not end up with penalties. Keith D (talk) 09:33, 15 May 2008 (UTC)

Re: Map

Hello there!

User:Morwen had something of a monopoly on our beloved pink maps! She was the original cartographer. Is it this style you were after specifically, or something else? I think I could put something together using the source you've provided. --Jza84 |  Talk  22:44, 13 May 2008 (UTC)

I think I could put something together for us yes! It might be a few days (if it gets lengthy, feel free to give me a nudge), but it should be possible. I've recently learned about the Labelled Image Editor, which might also have a use here??? --Jza84 |  Talk  23:21, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
Hi! I haven't forgot. I'm a little tied up in real life at the moment (having a lovely new kitchen installed - granite arriving this afternoon!)... I had made some progress with this map, and will try to complete it asap. :) --Jza84 |  Talk  11:02, 9 June 2008 (UTC)

Could you move the talk page as well? Thanks. Rhindle The Red (talk) 15:51, 15 May 2008 (UTC)

 Done Keith D (talk) 15:57, 15 May 2008 (UTC)

WP:HAU has a new format

Due to popular demand, HAU has a new look. Since the changes are so dramatic, I may have made some mistakes when translating the data. Please take a look at WP:HAU/EU and make sure your checkmarks are in the right place and feel free to add or remove some. There is a new feature, SoxBot V, a recently approved bot, automatically updates your online/offline status based on the length of time since your last edit. To allow SoxBot V to do this, you'll need to copy [[Category:Wikipedians who use StatusBot]] to your userpage. Obviously you are not required to add this to your userpage, however, without this, your status will always be "offline" at HAU. Thanks. Useight (talk) 17:18, 17 May 2008 (UTC)

Thinking about the Rotunda

Have you, on your travels around Wikipedia, noticed a museum infobox, please, or one for National Trust or English Heritage properties?--Harkey Lodger (talk) 17:37, 17 May 2008 (UTC)

You could try {{Infobox Museum}} which may fit the bill. If you are interested I took a photo a couple of weeks ago which you could use. If you want it I can upload it. Keith D (talk) 17:47, 17 May 2008 (UTC)
That's great. Yes, please for the picture. I have some oldish information about the museum and there seems to be a bit online now, since the refurbishment, so I'll "have a go", maybe next week.--Harkey Lodger (talk) 18:18, 17 May 2008 (UTC)
I have uploaded the image here Image:Rotunda Museum Scarborough.jpg. Keith D (talk) 18:40, 17 May 2008 (UTC)
That's really good, and a fine day in Scarborough too!! Thanks.--Harkey Lodger (talk) 18:47, 17 May 2008 (UTC)
It was the last bank holiday when the weather was good, hope it will be as good for the next one. The museum is not open as yet and the fence is still round it for the landscaping works. Keith D (talk) 18:53, 17 May 2008 (UTC)
I created the page Rotunda Museum and made a start. Real life calls!! Can you link and label etc, please?:-)--Harkey Lodger (talk) 09:10, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
I have made a copy-edit pass through, hopefully nothing too drastic in the changes. The query I have is the opening details as at end of one paragraph it says expected Autumn 2007 while later in says re-opens May 2008. May be the first note should be removed or clarified. Great work, how about a Did you know? submission for it. Keith D (talk) 13:56, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
Yes, there seems to have been a bit of slippage. It happens a lot on the coast :-) -- I'll try to clarify that.--Harkey Lodger (talk) 17:33, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
I've looked at WP:DYK and I can't get my head round it. If you think it's OK, and you can fathom the process then OK by me.--Harkey Lodger (talk) 18:18, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
I think I got it nominated correctly. Took me some time to work out what to do so may not be quite right we shall have to wait and see if it appears. Keith D (talk) 19:41, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for that. Now, ahem! the Spa looks interesting. :-)--Harkey Lodger (talk) 21:01, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
Which one - I assume Scarborough from the context. Though the Bridlington one has just been refurbished and due for re-opening next week-end. Keith D (talk) 21:05, 18 May 2008 (UTC)

(reset indent) I was thinking about Scarborough. There are (or were?) some fascinating ruins to the south of the present Spa. A bathing pool maybe? There are huge pictures of them on the walls in the Morrisons Cafe in Scarbro' (I only frequent the best places!!)But Brid' might be more topical. I'll sleep on it.--Harkey Lodger (talk) 21:41, 18 May 2008 (UTC)

There was an outdoor bathing pool but it was filled in and you can walk over it now. I think that it is some sort of star thing now. See Scarborough South Bay Pool site set for new splash for some info. Keith D (talk) 22:38, 18 May 2008 (UTC)

Comment

When you walk through a storm hold your head up high And don't be afraid of the dark. At the end of a storm is a golden sky

And the sweet silver song of a lark. Walk on through the wind, Walk on through the rain, Tho' your dreams be tossed and blown.

Walk on, walk on with hope in your heart And you'll never walk alone, You'll never, ever walk alone. Walk on, walk on with hope in your heart

And you'll never walk alone, You'll never, ever walk alone.

Zippycup (talk) 21:23, 17 May 2008 (UTC)

Ah, thanks. Thank you very much. Yes, you put your finger on it. Sorry for not getting the other name correct. I appreciate the quick attention you put to this. And I really appreciate you going the extra mile, and figuring out the other name I should have put.

Cheers! Geo Swan (talk) 01:48, 19 May 2008 (UTC)

No problem. Keith D (talk) 09:29, 19 May 2008 (UTC)

The Spa, Bridlington

Please, can you do any of your magic again with The Spa, Bridlington.I've been looking at it so long I've lost the plot. I will have another look later.--Harkey Lodger (talk) 19:14, 19 May 2008 (UTC)

Will have a look, I have not got a photo to hand this time. Keith D (talk) 19:21, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
I have had a quick look over and added a category & some wikilinks. I think that some parts need referencing a bit more also I would think that the annual World Darts Championship that is held there would be worth a mention. I also thought that it was a listed building but cannot locate an Images of England entry for it, the nearest I could find was the Winter Gardens but there is no picture to show if it is the same place. Keith D (talk) 20:59, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
I see you found an infobox for it. Keith D (talk) 00:07, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
Yes, maybe not quite right, but.... The Rotunda looked good in the sunshine today.--Harkey Lodger (talk) 18:14, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
Slacking again! Keith D (talk) 18:23, 20 May 2008 (UTC)

Windmill Hill

After the mess I made of the Skidby Windmill page move, I thought I'd ask you to sort this one out.

Windmill Hill needs to be moved to Windmill Hill, Avebury. Windmill Hill itself should be a disambiguation page, but a redirect to Windmill Hill (disambiguation) would also be acceptable. Mjroots (talk) 08:04, 20 May 2008 (UTC)

Done though I would have thought that Windmill Hill, Wiltshire would be more appropriate unless there are two in Wiltshire. Keith D (talk) 10:07, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
Windmill Hill is (was) a very common name, without digging out several books and old maps, I'd say it is quite likely that most counties have several "Windmill Hill"s, hence Avebury being included to pre-empt a further move if another Wiltshire Windmill Hill gets an article. Mjroots (talk) 10:23, 20 May 2008 (UTC)

Wikipedia:WikiProject Yorkshire/Newsletter/June 2008

I have copied the may issue and altered the month to June here ready for editing. Please feel free to alter stuff.--Harkey Lodger (talk) 08:33, 20 May 2008 (UTC)

I have updated a few things though have not done any major changes to it. Thanks for getting it started. Keith D (talk) 10:30, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
I've just done some more. Please will you check my comments on priority articles, I don't want to seem to Know it all , 'cos I don't!!--Harkey Lodger (talk) 18:11, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
Looks OK - though the York comment seems a bit out as there are significant problems with article as it stands. I was going to put some pointers on the talk page before the last holiday but all I got round to was archiving the old talk. Main problems are the lack of references and the lists. Though the External links section would need a major prune before any GA review. Keith D (talk) 19:25, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
Maybe substitute or add "Main problems are the lack of references and the lists and the external links section would need a major prune before any GA review."--Harkey Lodger (talk) 19:58, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
Bath, Somerset is a good role model for York and an FA.--Harkey Lodger (talk) 20:08, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
"Main problems are lack of references and the lists, also the external links section would need a major prune before any GA review." reads a bit better Keith D (talk) 20:10, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
OK, will do.--Harkey Lodger (talk) 20:13, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
The other thought I had on York was a rather thorny one - should it be split up into two York and City of York as per Leeds, Wakefield etc.? I think it best to keep quiet on this one for now. Keith D (talk) 20:17, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
Yep, and the other Y word.--Harkey Lodger (talk) 20:20, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
I added Wikipedia:Version 1.0 Editorial Team/Yorkshire articles by quality statistics to the end of the newsletter. Trying to make it easy for all members to have an overview of the current situation. What do you think? By the way, having slept on it, I think you're right about the York article maybe need to broach it on the talk page soon.--Harkey Lodger (talk) 07:10, 21 May 2008 (UTC)
I think that looks OK. It should get updated again before the end of the month but I have not been doing much tagging recently so should not change that much, though I noticed some others have been tagging footballers. I am about half way through West Yorkshire categories, still got South Yorkshire to tackle. Keith D (talk) 09:50, 21 May 2008 (UTC)

Colombia-India relations

Hi, sorry to bother you. This guy once again unilaterally moved the page [3] ignoring the consent on the talkpage. --Zer0~Gravity (Roger - Out) 02:35, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

Looking at this there were only 2 people who commented on the previous move but that move seems to be in violation of WikiProject International relations guidelines that the mover has raised and which I was not aware of. Can you indicate why this should be an exception to the guidelines? Keith D (talk) 10:12, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

I see he is blocked. Since he is obviously the same person as the other users that were attacking me, why the 31 hours? Imperial Star Destroyer (talk) 07:01, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

I blocked for a short time as they had had no warning issued to them. I initially thought that I would just issue a warning but felt that it was a bit too serious for that so went for a short block. Keith D (talk) 10:00, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

You do realise that he's the same person as; [4] , [5] , [6] , [7] , and [8] ? Imperial Star Destroyer (talk) 14:52, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

I had not put the names together as you have here looks like these are sock puppet accounts. Keith D (talk) 16:44, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

They are. Besides, I think his block's over soon. Imperial Star Destroyer (talk) 14:46, 23 May 2008 (UTC)

You need to spread the message. User: Damian805, User: Drogs630, User: Notts33 are all part of a giant conspiracy to undermine the great policies of wikipedia. They might be banned, but I feel that they have sockpuppets/meatpuppets coming from everywhere. 86.141.15.129 (talk) 09:35, 25 May 2008 (UTC)

Hello yet again. I regretfully inform you that the bot we were using to update the user status at Wikipedia:Highly Active Users, SoxBot V, was blocked for its constant updating. With this bot out of operation, a patch is in the works. Until that patch is reviewed and accepted by the developers, some options have been presented to use as workarounds: 1) Qui monobook (not available in Internet Explorer); 2) User:Hersfold/StatusTemplate; 3) Manually updating User:StatusBot/Status/USERNAME; or 4) Not worry about it and wait for the patch to go through, which hopefully won't take long. If you have another method, you can use that, too. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. Useight (talk) 22:22, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

Hull

Most teams are either FC, RFC or RLFC but nobody tacks this on to the end of their name. Halifax are just called Halifax not Halifax RLFC. Hull is always taken to mean Hull FC, Hull Kingston Rovers are actually Hull Kingston Rovers RLFC (at least I think they are RLFC), they are only ever referred to as "Hull KR" or "Hull Kingston Rovers" never "Hull".

It's a bit like Dundee and Dundee United in Scots football. It would be wrong to refer to United as "Dundee".GordyB (talk) 22:55, 4 June 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for letting me know, I was unsure which one to put in for dab so tagged it. Keith D (talk) 23:00, 4 June 2008 (UTC)

Kingston upon Hull

Hi, Keith. I shall be back on Saturday 7th. I'm writing this on a lap top linked by a tenuous mobile phone link. I'll look at both Hull and Lealholm when I get back although Lealholm is difficult.Only about 50 houses so, say, 200 population!!Hull should be easier to source, hopefully.--Harkey Lodger (talk) 06:25, 5 June 2008 (UTC)

Thanks, though it may be out of hold period by then, Maniac Pony the main author of Lealholm popped on and made a single edit to Lealholm last night so may do further to it. Keith D (talk) 09:40, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
I've made another weather infobox here maybe it will suit the layout better? Now for the rest of it!!!--Harkey (talk) 14:51, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
Thanks - I did move the other one up to to top of the section to improve it. May be we can use both as per the Manchester article. Keith D (talk) 15:31, 7 June 2008 (UTC)

On another point I set reference 5 "Shop in Hull: History" to the one from the archives as the site is no longer available, but looking at it it looks like an extract of an old version of the wiki article so may be it is not a reliable source yet is used several times in the article. I've tried a rejig on the Geography to make it flow more easily --I'm not so sure about the climate before the position, though?--Harkey (talk) 16:32, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
That makes it read funny I would put it back where it was. Keith D (talk) 16:37, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
Okey, dokey!!--Harkey (talk) 16:41, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
Made a few changes. Please do alter if you want to rejig.--Harkey (talk) 18:36, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
Made a few edits to Culture then general layout and general tweaks. Done for now. May need your "eagle eye" on spaces, etc. I'm not happy about images poking into the next section in some places but don't know how to fix apart from resize, but that would make them ridiculously small.--Harkey (talk) 09:16, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
Images are always a problem as it depends on browser, size of window, font size and if you have the TOC hidden, just have to do the best you can to cover all situations. I will have a look over again and see if I can spot anything. I guess the on hold period is running out so reviewer should be back soon. I noticed that the original Lealholm reviewer had popped in with a few tweaks so may be will hear from them on decision. Keith D (talk) 13:11, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
I have had a play and think it looks better now. The problem that stands out is the See also note at the end of the culture section, the MOS indicates they should go at the top but does not really fit there now the sub-headings have gone. May have to consider a separate "See also" section just above the references, unless the reviewer is OK with it where it is. The economy section may still be a bit thin up the top on the non-shopping front as the second reviewer picked up on, though I expanded it slightly since review. Keith D (talk) 16:33, 8 June 2008 (UTC)

(reset indent) Is this or this any good for economy ?--Harkey (talk) 19:22, 8 June 2008 (UTC)

Thanks I have used ref to add a couple of sentences to first paragraph. Keith D (talk) 20:41, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
Will this be any good for future use
? I made it from bits and bobs of info on the net.The black lines may need enhancing a bit. --Harkey (talk) 20:14, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
Oops! Resize--Harkey (talk) 20:20, 9 June 2008 (UTC)

(edit conflict) That will be useful, I only prodded Jza84 earlier today as I ask him about producing one a few weeks ago. I was going to use it on the Hull City Council article as I had added the ward details. I think it needs to be tweaked to the usual pink colour that is used for the maps. Keith D (talk) 20:26, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
Can you do the tweaking? (Sounds like a couple of sparrows)--Harkey (talk) 20:31, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
(edit conflict) Just noticed that the map you made is different to the one I thought it was it is areas rather than wards which is what Jza84 is doing. Keith D (talk) 20:33, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
I am confused now the one you made has a name of wards but does not match the wards list. Keith D (talk) 20:37, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
Are they divided into East and west or North and south somehow?--Harkey (talk) 20:39, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
Yes, Bricknell, Kings Park and Orchard Park and Greenwood are missing and Brandsholm and Southcoates are divided. I'll have another go tomorrow.--Harkey (talk) 20:49, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
This is the council map for wards Keith D (talk) 20:47, 9 June 2008 (UTC)

Doncaster

I must say your edit [9] was particularly unhelpful. In future may I suggest you consider each and every change you reverse, rather than making assumptions that because we disagree about whether the Act of Union 1707 is still in effect, or that Doncaster is in Yorkshire: then for some reasons all my spelling corrections and wikidates have to be reversed as well. 195.171.25.206 (talk) 16:14, 6 June 2008 (UTC)

It is easier to reverse all edits made rather than try and go round fixing some of the edits. I did reapply some date wikilinking and typos from your edit. If you want to have your edits retained then please do not make changes which are againist the norm for articles, i.e. we use England for country and current counties for county for place locations. Soundtrack from the Film More

Hi Keith. Thanks for fixing the page move on this article. You pointed out that the cover art is marked for fair use on Cymbaline only. Currently it is not used in that article, and is only used for the album's article. Until recently, most pages for Pink Floyd songs (all of their songs have one) had a picture of the album cover from which the song came, but fair use rationale on the JPEG only showed it for use on the album's article. Recently I did a clean-up of this problem on various Pink Floyd pages. I suspect this cover was inserted on all songs from this album at the time the image was uploaded, and the uploader just picked one of the many articles for the FUR. I also notice the person who uploaded it has not made any contributions since 2005. Is it okay for anyone to go in and change the FUR, or does it have to be the uploader? --A Knight Who Says Ni (talk) 22:56, 8 June 2008 (UTC)

No you can make the change, better to beat the BOT. Keith D (talk) 23:00, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
Done. Thank you! --A Knight Who Says Ni (talk) 00:21, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
