Speedy deletion nomination of Simeon Oyeyemi

[edit]

Hello Kaoszulu,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Simeon Oyeyemi for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. TheLongTone (talk) 14:54, 3 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Not all wiki users are experts. Watch this game. Who is thelongtone that is not a person, sounds like a porn blogger till you see he's just a blogger, on wiki. Speedy deletions should not occur. Say you speedy delivery before krs1 christinamilian or serenawilliams etc. get to chime in and Thelongtone gets to dictate the content on wiki. Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Beat Street may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Your behavior

[edit]

To put it bluntly, your current behavior flies completely in the face of several of our core policies and editing and behavioral guidelines, namely remaining civil and refraining from personal attacks. If you want to even have the remotest shot of people hearing your requests or seeing your point of view, what you're currently doing on Nick Number (talk · contribs)'s talk page—the tone you're taking—needs to stop, because it's crossed a line that makes someone like me step in. I don't know what your argument is or what you're trying to accomplish on what article, but that's irrelevant until you can first behave with civility. From there, there are options like dispute resolution to have other people help mediate or simply provide things like third opinions, but attacking another editor the way you're doing is just not how things work in this community, and as such, nothing will be accomplished by you continuing to do so. I strongly encourage you to read through and understand the blue links in this paragraph before continuing. The choice is yours, of course, but if you choose not to, you risk being blocked from editing. --slakrtalk / 06:31, 26 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

That's what I'm not understanding. You are the first person to say anything. I was not trying to belittle any one, but I do not feel it's right to delete and then just say READ THE GUIDLINES. What I posted fit in the GUIDLINES. He never said let me help you understand, he never said why he thought it was insig. I , as the person who wiki, speaks of, do however take this seriously. I feel as if I have already been blocked from editing. As far as I know I didn't post a fowl edit. I spoke only truth. Degrading no one and only informing where there were gaps and assumptions on an existing page. And I did say that if it was easy to direct message him I would have done so. His initial message to me basically said DONT POST IN WIKI ANY MORE LIKE YOU DID IN NBA STREET. ALL I DID WAS POST THE CHARACTER BIO AND ADDED A CREDIBLE MUSIC VIDEO BY MICHAEL JACKSON JORDAN AND I WHERE ANY NEW VISITORS OR RETURNERS CAN GET EXPANDED AND NEW INFO (Caps was on) about the game. When he said don't post. & im the real person that was offensive. I did just read however that the community likes third person posts. How is hearsay more creditable than actual quotes? When I see him giving helpful criticism to others and you just tell me DONT POST ANYMORE I feel I have the right to ask him why. And also I should have the right to explain myself. Where was mediation before deletion? Who stands up for the newby being turned away by the Core as you put it. When my first ever post was deleted I asked why and got no response. I asked for help and no one answered. Maybe you can explain to me how The Source is not a credible source. When I typed in nbastreet and there were speculations on the wiki page so I put the truth. How was that wrong? The first party who submitted got it wrong and it's been wrong and incomplete ever sense. && I did mean what I said to him tho, about his personal blog, where he takes things he edits from wiki and reposts them. Is that leagle in the guidlines?

Don't take my questions as not being civil I want to know the answers. That answer leads to civility. He never said what it was about my name being mentioned that made it offensive. Made it insignificant. Kaoszulu (talk) 07:42, 26 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Thirty plus years

[edit]

After thirty plus years of constant work, with out self glorification, or cheerleaders. It is the hardest thing ever to post truth in this day and age. Over thirty years in dance, music, graffiti, sports, fashion. No bragging or boasting. In over 150 music videos. In three movies. Characterized in GIJOE as ROADBLOCK and NBA street as BONAFIDE.
