Accepting bad edits
Why did you accept this edit here? It was quite obvious vandalism.
Looking back through your talk page it would seem you have been questioned a number of times about accepting bad revisions on articles. If you don't have time to review edits properly, or aren't good at spotting vandalism, maybe accepting revisions isn't for you? --Escape Orbit (Talk) 17:41, 8 November 2016 (UTC)
- Per WP:Reviewing, PC reviewers don't take responlitblity regardless what they accept. They added unsourced content and may be vandalism. KGirlTrucker81 huh? what I'm been doing 17:52, 8 November 2016 (UTC)
- Erm, just to clear up any confusion, you can decline revisions in which vandalism is present through PCR. I've seen a previous discussion here in which someone requested your PCR be revoked. I don't want that to have to happen, but it may well do if this continues. Patient Zerotalk 18:57, 8 November 2016 (UTC)
- Yeah, but I already know what is vandalism is and is not but I don't want to get dragged to ANI, that was Qed237 who requested it but stale for now. KGirlTrucker81 huh? what I'm been doing 19:16, 8 November 2016 (UTC)
- I know you do. I am not doubting that. But please, don't accept edits that are obvious vandalism, as it is essentially the same thing as ignoring vandalism when one spots it on an article (and I couldn't ever bring myself to do that). You could well end up at AN/I for this should your accepting of bad faith edits persist. Patient Zerotalk 13:42, 10 November 2016 (UTC)

Hi, I came here because of a bad accepted edit as well. You recently accepted three edits on Simon Hopkinson that added a joke about Gavin Free. The entire reason that page is protected is because people keep adding jokes about Gavin Free, so accepting those edits completely undermines the protection. If you're not going to take the time to verify that an edit is not vandalism, then please do not accept the edit. Thanks, IagoQnsi (talk) 05:03, 11 November 2016 (UTC)
- Adding this one as well, although it's probably a tricky one to spot at first. – Uanfala (talk) 20:14, 13 November 2016 (UTC)
Formatting issues
Formatting issues are never a reason to decline a draft, as you did at Draft:Bharti Sharma Kshitij. If a perfectly valid draft is badly formatted, it should be fixed and accepted, not declined so that the creator (probably unfamiliar with the "proper" way of formatting") has to struggle through the process (and wait of resubmitting). There are a bunch of dropdown decline reasons, and the custom reason should only be used if it really doesn't fit any one of them (or if it breaks multiple decline reasons equally). Cheers, Primefac (talk) 15:51, 12 November 2016 (UTC)
- Oh, I thought formatting issues not a vaild reason to decline but thanks for the advice! KGirlTrucker81 huh? what I'm been doing 17:23, 12 November 2016 (UTC)

New Page Review needs your help
Hi KGirlTrucker81,
As an AfC reviewer you're probably aware that a new user right has been created for patrolling new pages (you might even have been granted the right already, and admins have it automatically).
Since July there has been a very serious backlog at Special:NewPagesFeed of over 14,000 pages, by far the worst since 2011, and we need an all out drive to get this back down to just a few hundred that can be easily maintained in the future. Unlike AfC, these pages are already in mainspace, and the thought of what might be there is quite scary. There are also many good faith article creators who need a simple, gentle push to the Tea House or their pages converted to Draft rather than being deleted.
Although New Page Reviewing can occasionally be somewhat more challenging than AfC, the criteria for obtaining the right are roughly the same. The Page Curation tool is even easier to use than the Helper Script, so it's likely that most AfC reviewers already have more than enough knowledge for the task of New Page Review.
It is hoped that AfC reviewers will apply for this right at WP:PERM and lend a hand. You'll need to have read the page at WP:NPR and the new tutorial.

ArbCom Elections 2016: Voting now open!
Hello, KGirlTrucker81. Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2016 election, please review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 22:08, 21 November 2016 (UTC)

18:04:38, 27 November 2016 review of submission by Joseph-Winklepicker
Hi,
I just submitted my first contribution which was declined at the first attempt (I hope I will get the hang of it) and am just seeking some clarification, so as not to keep needlessly submitting my article for review, which I imagine may become annoying for reviewers/moderators.
I've done a brief edit and removed/changed a link that was from a non reputable source and I've also added another section. I just wanted to check if I'd need to refine my sources further or if my Facebook faux pas was the main reason for declining. If re-submitting is the way I find out, then I am happy to do so. I figure my ego can take a few more declined notifications before I cry a river. If at first you don't succeed, try and try again...
Thanks for your time and I look forward to your reply. Joseph-Winklepicker (talk) 18:04, 27 November 2016 (UTC)

Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Jon Hirschtick
Dear KGirlTrucker81,
Thank you very much for reviewing of my first article about Jon Hirschtick and for your confirmation that it is good enough for Wikipedia! (you accepted it three days ago)
Unfortunatelly it is being considered for deletion. Could you please confirm that my plan to keep the article is good?
I am going to do this:
- Add information about awards of Jon Hirschtick to show his notability.
- Reduce number of sources (i.e. keep only links on Fortune, Wall Street Journal, Forbes and may be Bloomberg, but delete all other not so cool sources) to fix the reason "the sources are not equally convincing" (do you see other ways to fix this kind of issue?).
What else you'd recommend me to do in this case? (I am reading WP:XFD, WP:HELPAFD, WP:GOODARG, WP:ARS now, but it is not completely clear for me what is better to do)

So I ask you for your opinion about two ideas (to add information about awards and to remove all references except Fortune, Wall Street Journal, Forbes and may be Bloomberg). What do you think about it? Will it be helpful? Thank you again! Ilya.lichman (talk) 13:28, 28 November 2016 (UTC)

Jesse Eisenberg
Hi there! I notice that you have nominated this article for GA, which I would have worked on at some point. I wanted to take it up for review but I saw that you have never contributed to the article (except where you reverted a vandal). Please do some work and then nominate it; it is not in very bad shape, but is certainly not ready for GA in my view. The article has a lot of trivial information. I notice absolutely no reviews of his work and the media image section is missing, which I think should be added, discussing what the media thinks of his personality and work. References are not properly formatted and WP:SHOUTING is very frequent. And it goes on.
Anyway, I hope that you take my suggestions into consideration. Cheers! – FrB.TG (talk) 18:29, 3 December 2016 (UTC)
Speedy tagging
Hi KGirlTrucker81, thanks for patrolling articles. It is suggested that pages that might meet CSD A7 criteria not be tagged for deletion immediately after they are created, as you did at Society of Chartered Financial Analysts of the United Kingdom. It's usually best to wait at least 10–15 minutes for more content to be added if the page is very short, and the articles should not be marked as patrolled. Tagging such pages in a very short space of time may drive away well-meaning contributors, which is not good for Wikipedia. Attack pages (G10), blatant nonsense (G1), copyright violations (G12) and pure vandalism/blatant hoaxes (G3) should of course be tagged and deleted immediately. Thanks. -- samtar talk or stalk 13:19, 6 December 2016 (UTC)

Removing comments from other user's talk pages
Please don't remove comments from other user's talk pages. Per WP:OWNTALK, user talk pages are subject to thegeneral userpage guidelines on handling inappropriate content, which say that content should only be removed from another user's user space if it is something that must be addressed urgently ("for example, unambiguous copyright, attack, defamation, or BLP reasons, etc."). Comments that are simply offtopic, not formatted correctly, misplaced, etc. should be left up to the talk page owner to remove. In the case of my talk page, the comment you removed was clearly an attempt by an inexperienced user to call my attention to what they perceived to be an error in a Wikipedia article. While they may or may not be correct, and the comment wasn't formatted per the usual Wikipedia guidelines, a content dispute is an appropriate thing to be on a user's talk page. --Ahecht (TALK

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Toufique Ahmed, a page you have created yourself. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Contest this speedy deletion which appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. {MordeKyle} ☢ 23:33, 10 December 2016 (UTC)

Zamzam -- request for help
hi, thank you for reviewing zamzam_ship. I am a newbie and would like to request your help with the disambiguation page for zamzam. Right now, searching on zamzam leads to the disambiguation page (including links to well, ship, party, and soft drink). I think searching on zamzam should redirect straight to the zamzam well page, and then all the other pages should be offered on the disambiguation page. It is not clear to me how to make a search redirect to a single page by default. Can you help me fix this please? thank you. Lcb03 (talk) 16:24, 11 December 2016 (UTC)lcb03
- Well, disambiguation pages are entries at the same word (like "do you mean") etc. You can add Zamzam (ship) to the dab page with a short description of the subject. KGirlTrucker81 huh? what I've been doing 16:37, 11 December 2016 (UTC)
- I must not be explaining the problem clearly. Let me try again. When you search wikipedia for the word "spoon," it takes you directly to the "spoon_utensil" page, and then that page offers links to the spoon disambiguation page. In contrast, when you search wikipedia for the word "zamzam," it takes you directly to the zamzam disambiguation page. I think searching on zamzam should take the user directly to the zamzam_well page, and then that page should offer links to the disambiguation page and the other pages (on ship, party, and softdrink).Lcb03 (talk) 16:44, 11 December 2016 (UTC)

Wikipedia:Articles for creation/Redirects
In the future, please take more time to look at proposed redirects at Wikipedia:Articles for creation/Redirects. I just accepted five redirects you rejected, all of which were listed as alternative names in the target article's infobox or lede or were simple rephrasings of the proposed target article's name (e.g. Sunday Night Football on ESPN vs ESPN Sunday Night Football). These are all valid redirects which should be accepted unless there's some pressing reason not to (e.g. multiple shows of that name). Thanks, and hope the holiday season is going well for you. ---- Patar knight - chat/contributions 17:20, 24 December 2016 (UTC)
ATMIA orphan tag (24 Dec 2016)
Hello Thanks for the additional edits. Rearding the orphan tag to the new contribution, ATM Industry Association is referenced in the following Wiki pages:
cash machine / Automated Teller Machine (twice) Windows XP (which corroborates footnote 8 in the current ATMIA article page) KAL Software MegaLink Oberthur Cash Protection
All these were referenced back in the "See also" section of the ATMIA. I also added the ref back (ie "[[") to these but not showing when I search Wiki or using Google (for ATMIA). In any case, this is a minor technical issue and I do believe the "orphan" tag is unwarranted.

17:36:48, 1 January 2017 review of submission by Daniela-S
Dear KGirlTrucker81, Thank you for your amazingly quick response to the wiki page I'm trying to create for my friend Daniela Sieff. I've never done one before. I've read the recommended pages and have tried to make changes to the original submission, removing links to bitly.com and replacing them with ones to YouTube, added references containing links to Daniela's personal webpage, to Routledge's page advertising her book, plus internal links to other wiki pages. I'm still getting error messages, so am clearly doing something(s) wrong. Sorry to be a pest on New Years Day, but I'd appreciate some pointers to where exactly I'm going wrong. all best wishes for the New Year, Peter

Labdoo article
Hello KGirlTrucker81,
thank you for your help on the Labdoo article. I don't understand why you deleted the "How it works part". Although the title may not be very good, this part did explain what Labdoo is about and how the labdoo donation, sanitizing process works.

BLP PROD on Erasma Arellano
I've undone your placement of a WP:BLPROD on Erasma Arellano. The article had a reference - it may not have been an inline link, but it had a section marked "Reference" that list the title, publishing year, and publisher for a book. If you have checked that book and found that it has no reference to the subject of the article, let me know and I'll restore the PROD. --Nat Gertler (talk) 01:20, 3 January 2017 (UTC)

- So I see. Did you actually read the article that you've repeatedly try to have deleted? Because half of it is a Reference section, which shows you a source. You don't seem to have done WP:BEFORE, as a Google search would've shown you that the subject is a medal-winner. Mary Barkworth
Hello, I just created Mary Barkworth. I'm sorry, but this is the best I can do given the limited sources available on the internet. I think the information from the linkedIn page is why you posted the unreliable template. I think the information there is rather harmless and was created by ms. Barkworth herself. Dear KGirlTrucker81, I added references for the submission, which should resolve the issue. Basil McGuckin was my Grandfather, though he died 14 years before I was born. Hi there. After multiple attempts to submit Elgin's page for acceptance I've continued to be declined due to the references used - when clearly he's a notable person within not only his industry of hair, but entertainment as well. What can I do to ensure this will eventually be approved? I understand some of the references are name drops (used to verify details mentioned in the text), but they seem noteworthy and to be from credible sources. Individuals and entities accosted with (including those who have studied under Elgin) have wikipedia pages, yet he can't seem to get one! Any of your help would be greatly appreciated.

Redirecting Sayyed Ziya -> Zia'eddin Tabatabaee
I'm the person requesting the redirect (not at home, ergo IP). The source is Ervand Abrahamian, "the coup" (I also edited the page in question with that source). I verified the history of the person, and it is the same person. The "sayyed" is missing on the english page, but it's on the German and Spanish pages. There seems to be a million different ways to romanize Persian names; my philosophy is to catch them all. I'm a wikipedia newbie, so I don't know if this talk page is the relevant place to write this. Uglemat (talk) 15:58, 10 January 2017 (UTC)

- I just did. "The Coup: 1953, the CIA, and the Roots of Modern U.S.-Iranian Relations" is a book, written by Ervand Abrahamian, and he uses that name, in full, 4 times on page 36 alone, and many other times in the book. Uglemat (talk) 19:49, 10 January 2017 (UTC)

Question re your rejection of the draft of 'Tory Bruno">
mment: Specifically this is simply a business PR listing and none of it satisfies our established policies; there's
no automatic inherited notability from anything or anyone else
Not following your logic. This person leads the World's largest and most prolific space launch company. He is one of the best known individuals in the space industry.
A simple googling of his name yields pages and pages of news articles. Wall Street Journal, Reuters, Washington Post, CNN, CNBC, Fortune, Forbes.... etc
Please help me understand how he is not notable

The tone of your NAC of Tennisuser123's ORCP was uncalled for. As none of us know what the future may hold for them in an RFA, statements like "Frankly, you have no chance of passing an RFA" are inappropriate and are a violation of AGF. If you'll notice, everyone else was saying they may well stand a chance in the foreseeable future. I'd change the wording if I were you. Thanks, Patient Zerotalk 12:21, 12 January 2017 (UTC)

Hello, you rightly rejected this draft a couple of weeks ago. A similar page was created in mainspace at List of Indycar broadcasters within minutes of the draft being started. However, the creator has seemingly ignored the article until today when he copied the content of the draft to the page (no attribution). By way of background, this is a long-term IP-hopping editor well-known to the Wiki Formula One project (and other motorsport projects) who also edits as 'Rowde'. He makes a habit of this sort of thing (amongst other "Wiki-sins'); creating both pages and drafts/userpages for topics which probably won't be accepted. Anyway, I was wondering about the best way to deal with this particular instance? Thanks for any suggestions. Regards, Eagleash (talk) 16:12, 14 January 2017 (UTC)

I'm not requesting a re-review, just want to ask an honest question for a better guideline for redoing the references etc...
It says to list verifiable information, and while I realize a lot of it is from the authors website directly, several references are from the authors pages from amazon, good reads etc. I am not sure what would be considered verifiable as the author has stated on his official facebook page several tikes that he generally does not do interviews for sites or give out much personal information. If I go to the poetry websites and link the book compilations of his poetry would that help? His personal information would rely solely on his website, unless I pulled his public record to verify things such as his being arrested and such.
Just looking for clarification, as to me personally, you cant get more verifiable than from the persons website itself. Though I did also link an outside website that did a profile on him from the United Kingdom.
Sorry this is so long! Just want to see if linking the compilation books would help, or if it is more his personal info that is the issue. Thanks guys!

You recently reviewed and declined the submission of my page 'Smartpay'. I was just wondering why the referencing does not show the subject's notability as I've looked over them and believe that they adequately support the notability of the material on the page.
