newspaper article
Hello. My name is Mary Spicuzza and I'm a reporter with SF Weekly newspaper. I'm working on an article about Wikipedia and would love to speak with you. May I give you a call or send you an email? Active players
Hi, we both work on the Baseball top 500 HR list. Is there a "list" of active players, so that we know who to take off when the season begins? Thanks and keep up the good work, Happy138 (talk) 08:26, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
FIRE
Hi, I meant for the details of the affiliations to be within the footnote - I see it as less inflammatory that way, not giving "undue weight" to criticism. It is fact that those people had the jobs they had, but the article on FIRE need not necessarily bludgeon us with those points in the introduction. Your view? (here or at talk). Top 500 HR hitters
Are you saying this was discussed and decided before, cuz I don't see that, or are you saying nobody deleted that for a long time? If the latter, let know if you object, and if so, why. If you don't object, please revert yourself. -- Y not be working? 22:51, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
Notability
Thanks for your suggestions on Kemetic Orthodoxy and Tamara Siuda. However I am concerned by your suggestions that these topics are not notable. I hope that this is not an attack on any religion that does not match one's one. I don't see similar contributions on other religion wiki pages (such as Buddhism, Shinto, Taoism, Islam, Judaism, etc.), so I hope that isn't the case. Please tell me why you think the pages are not notable, so that hopefully they can be corrected. However the many people who have worked on them and the many more people who have used them do not seem to agree. Please let me know. IanCheesman (talk) 00:10, 15 April 2008 (UTC)

I apologize
I apologize for the current state of the band articles for Underoath and As I Lay Dying. The reason I'm apologizing is because I know you edited the page more than I did. I wasn't able to keep up the argument for those pages. Too many editors had a POV that I couldn't beat and they have this odd definition for Christian music. They state a "Christian band does not play Christian music." I don't know, I gave up after that because I found it laughable... Anyways, just apologizing that I couldn't keep the Christian tags up there. Apparently even sources aren't good enough when you're getting bullied by editors. ¤IrønCrøw¤ (Speak to Me) 16:11, 22 June 2008 (UTC)
Please provide proof to your claims

Reese is my uncle
would you like me to update his Myspace page (seeing as that is a great source of information) or would you like me to provide a certified copy of the death certificate? —Preceding unsigned comment added by JamestheGiant (talk • contribs) 20:25, 7 July 2008 (UTC)

Baseball has a history unlike any other sport. It has been played in countless countries throughout the decades, and it will undoubtedly continue play for many more. On this eve, some the finest players the sport has to offer will take the field at the Yankee Stadium. Four popes spoke there, Pelé scored goals there, "The Greatest [football] Game Ever Played" was battled out there, John Philip Sousa lead a band there, George Costanza worked there; but what do all these events have in common? They fail to reach the level of greatness that the baseball that was played there did. In 1923, a man named Babe Ruth decided to build a new house, and over the years, that house was a home to some of the greatest baseball ever played. If I were to list out all of these great moments, it would be longer than the bill for the New Yankee Stadium. So I'll sum it up by saying that we can remember these great moments by adding them to this place we've gathered at for future generations to read about, to learn about, to dream about; but more importantly we can watch tonight and we can remember how baseball is unlike anything else that we will encounter in our lives. — Blackngold29 |

Christian music debate
Hey, hope you're doing well. I invite you to participate in a Christian music debate that I've started. I did it to keep the whole thing in one place, because it's starting to span across several band articles. Thanks. — FatalError 21:31, 19 August 2008 (UTC)

Genres in music articles
I noticed that you began a discussion that led to a call for genre guidelines in music articles. Interestingly enough, we came to the same conclusion elsewhere, and I've been working on proposed genre guidelines for about two weeks. Here's my draft, if you'd like to take a look.
