This is to let you know that the above article has been scheduled as today's featured article for 16 December 2024 (also TRAPPIST-1 on December 18). Please check that the article needs no amendments. Feel free to amend the draft blurb, which can be found at Wikipedia:Today's featured article/December 2024, or to make comments on other matters concerning the scheduling of this article at Wikipedia talk:Today's featured article/December 2024. Please keep an eye on that page, as comments regarding the draft blurb may be left there. I also suggest that you watchlist Wikipedia:Main Page/Errors from two days before the article appears on the Main Page. Thanks and congratulations on your work!—Wehwalt (talk) 22:47, 31 October 2024 (UTC)
- @TFA coordinators I kinda wonder if Ojos del Salado would be more appropriate for Wikipedia:Today's featured article/February 2025 per first ascent date (I don't think we reserve as far ahead as Wikipedia:Today's featured article/February 2037). I'd like for TRAPPIST-1 to be left available in case an atmosphere (or even signs of life) are detected, though (@Aleral Wei:). Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk) 08:36, 2 November 2024 (UTC)
- This seems appropriate, but I'll leave the decision to Wehwalt, as he scheduled December; Gog will be doing February, so that one is his call. - SchroCat (talk) 10:13, 4 November 2024 (UTC)
- I'll drop them. The blurbs I will leave at the FAC talk pages.--Wehwalt (talk) 13:46, 4 November 2024 (UTC)
