GREAT! Now if you would kindly add this template to your talk page, and remove the template requesting adoption. {{adopter|Truco9311}}. Now, I see you are a member of WP:PW, and so am I so we can relate.--TrUCo931122:24, 3 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Don't worry about the many policies. Every user does not know the policies. I don't even know them all. Now at WP:PW we do alot of things, we create PPV articles. I created No Way Out (2004), would you like to learn how to do these in the future? Also, remember to not get in edit wars. Would you like me to archive your talk page?--TrUCo931122:35, 3 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Ok your archival is done. Im not to good with making user pages, but if you ask User:The Chronic, he will be able to make you a good user page. He made mine. Just tell him I referred you to him, and that you are new and if he may organize your talk page. I will however try to do my best on organizing how your current user page looks like. TrUCo931123:34, 3 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Do you still want this template? Ok I have improve your talk page. Chronic should *pimp* (make your user page better). If not, I will attempt to do so. But he should be able to do it. Now for the PW articles, I can teach you how to write them. Do you want to learn?--TrUCo931123:47, 3 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Well if you still want it, mayby Chronic can center it on your page. Just tell him, but if you dont want it, tell me and I will remove it. Ok, I am a member of The Kliq which is a group of Wikiusers who write PPV articles. Would you like to write an article alonside us?TrUCo931123:54, 3 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Well hello Jjkr, can I call you JJ? Anyways, welcome on board to the PPV expansion. Anymore details you'd like to know about me, hit me up on my talk page and I'll be happy to give details. Again, welcome aboard. -- ThinkBlue (HitBLUE)01:28, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, welcome aboard. Just to let you know, I'm an admin here on Wikipedia, and if you ever have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. Cheers, LAX01:36, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Alright, I will redo your userpage when I have the time (sometime this week, maybe tomorrow). I'm extremely busy these days and all I really have time for is to answer messages. :) Cheers, TheChronic06:32, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The article Nicktropolis is currently a GA candidate. It was nominated on August 14, 2008, and, as of press, is still pending a review. You can review the article, just be neutral when you do. Here's the important links:
You may have noticed some changes around the home page (and the newsletter). WP:NICK is getting a face lift, and so are most aspects of it.
Jonathan and Macy are working on this so far, but we'd love your help! If our code has an issue, or you think a new bit of code will make it look better, feel free to work with it!
Collaboration of the Month
Our next collaboration depends on the pending GA review of Nicktropolis.
The newsletter went on hiatus for around 3 months because I took a wikibreak to get away from all the drama on Wikipedia. Let me tell you, though: I'm back, and I feel better than ever. So don't expect me to put the newsletter on hiatus for a long while.
We've redesigned the home page for (hopefully) the last time for a while. If you don't like the new design, the old page is archived here. To match the new design, the newsletter's format has also been redesigned. I hope you like it!
Note about member list
As the member list seems to have gone basically stale, I have removed all members from the list and moved the member list to a page that is transcluded onto the home page. Please DO NOT add your name to the homepage! Thanks!
Sorry this issue is a bit late...
Personal obligations have overtaken my Wikipedia time, and I haven't exactly had time to send out this issue. November's issue is coming soon. I promise. :-)
Article of the month...
Every month, I choose an article that I think needs help, or is just plain interesting. This month's article is Nickelodeon Magazine.
Nickelodeon Magazine's article needs help. There are no sources. I know, for this page, it's practically impossible to get it to a FA, but let's imagine we're trying to get it to FA status. That will be a motive for us to add sources, improve the writing, etc. Let's work on this article for the wellness of it! </pep talk>
Hello. I'm part of a research group at the University of Washington. In April, we met with Wikipedians to learn what they would like to know about other editors’ history and activities (within Wikipedia) when interacting with them on talk pages. The goal was to gather feedback to help design a tool that could quickly communicate useful information about other Wikipedians. We have now created a few images that we feel represent some of what our participants thought was important. We would appreciate it if you took a few minutes of your time to complete an online survey that investigates whether or not these images would be useful to you. Your quick contribution would be very valuable to our research group and ultimately to Wikipedia. (When finished, the code for this application will be given over to the Wikipedia community to use and/or adjust as they see fit.)
We are particularly interested in feedback from new editors! We want to make sure this tool meets your needs.
Willing to spend a few minutes taking our survey? Click this link.
Please feel free to share the link with other Wikipedians. The more feedback, the better!
The survey is completely anonymous and takes less than 10 minutes to complete. All data is used for university research purposes only.
Hello, Jjkr! WikiProject United States, an outreach effort supporting development of United States related articles in Wikipedia, has recently been restarted after a long period of inactivity. As a user who has shown an interest in United States related topics we wanted to invite you to join us in developing content relating to the United States. If you are interested please add your Username and area of interest to the members page here. Thank you!!!
You are invited to participate in the 50,000 Challenge, aiming for 50,000 article improvements and creations for articles relating to the United States. This effort began on November 1, 2016 and to reach our goal, we will need editors like you to participate, expand, and create. See more here!
