He doesn't say how he arrived at that conclusion. For it to be statistical, the study would need to be a random sampling of a sufficiently large population. It sounds like he just used public figures: congressmen and judges. I would like to see something that states that the study used a large sampling from a diverse background. And really, corrections would need to be added to compensate for anything that would deviate from a random population. Probably not something that someone would spend much time on (IMO). Dear Jim, sources (maps) have been added but Argos keeps deleting them. White Russia is a term used for several historical Russian territories. It had not always been the name for Republic of Belarus.

Changes to the wikipedia page

Greetings Jim,

I am Terrance Dean and I made the edited changes as the information on the page is derogatory, and defamation of character. I did not create this page. Someone else created it, and are using the page to damage my career, my work, and my life. The person is malicious and ill-intent. Please remove this page as I do not wish to have a wikipedia page. I have never had one and do not wish to begin one. I changed the content in the meantime as it is damaging to my family and my career.

@Terrancedean37212: Removal is unlikely. Per wp:BLP, information must be well sourced by WP:reliable sources (not blogs nor other social media). Unsourced material (especially scandalous or libelous content) on BLP articles should be removed immediately. (Leave an wp:edit summary explaining reasoning or the edit will likely be undone as unexplained) If someone is adding malicious content, leave a note on wp:BLP/N. Add wp:reliable sources supporting your points as others are probably not going to do work for you. wp:neutral point of view esp. wp:UNDUE WEIGHT is also highly important. Malicious attacks again on the Wikipedia page

Greetings Jim,

I awoke this morning to learn that the person has again made malicious statements on the wikipedia page. The person wrote I was an alcoholic and HIV positive. This is becoming a nuisance. Is there anyway to possible to please block that user and prevent them from posting or editing the wikipedia page? It is extremely frustrating. This is very harmful to me and my career and my life. I don't know what to do other than to monitor the page and edit out the statements. I shared that I do not wish to have a wikipedia page and you stated that it cannot be taken down. Is it possible to make the page private whereas no edits can be made unless by myself? Please help with this situation. My addition to the "In Popular Culture" section of the Chupacabra page

I referenced a rap performed by a stop-motion Chupacabra on an episode of the TV show Robot Chicken. The song was all about the Chupacabra legend. You removed it immediately, but I'm not sure why; it seems perfectly germane to the topic and section.

EDIT: The speed with which the reversion was made makes me think it was my wording that triggered an automatic reversion. (I was, after all, talking about the Chupacabra, whose name literally means: "to suck goats".) At any rate, I reworded my initial edit to read "suck the blood of goats", which should clear up any possible misunderstanding.

I wanted to make the page more concise (that should not look like resume)- therefore I removed those sections. So lets continue to keep this. I am the current owner of WoS. Martijn owns the domain name only - the site is hosted and maintained by myself, and I retain all of the original code, databases and vast amount of files. Going by the logic of the vandal, I own hundreds of websites as the domain name is in my name! This clearly isn't the case. Rapsody Wiki Changes

Hello Jim!

I am an intern for Jamla records. Rapsody wants her Wiki page updated and I have been making changes since early this morning (July 7, 2016). I will continue to make edits over the course of this month. So far I have changed her birth location from Wilson, NC to Snow Hill, NC because that's where she's originally from. I've also took out her birth year. She does not want the year publically displayed. We are in the process of contacting google to remove the birth year as well (when users research "Rapsody" on the google search engine).

Thank you for allowing me to successfully make these edits. It has been a pain to go back in and redo what I originally switched because of the information being changed back to what it previously was.

Anarchism in the United States

Hello good sir. The opening line: "Anarchism in the United States began as an individualist anarchist philosophy in the mid 19th century..." has no source and later in the article it refers to Godwin as the basis for early American Anarchism. From the article:

• After New Harmony failed Warren shifted his ideological loyalties from socialism to anarchism (which was no great leap, given that Owen's socialism had been predicated on Godwin's anarchism)."[4]

As such, it's important to note Godwin was a minarchist. From PPW III:

• Godwin follows Paine's view in Common Sense, that “society is in every state a blessing…government even in its best state is but a necessary evil” (PPW III, 48) http://plato.stanford.edu/entries/godwin/

Therefor I would like to revert to the change I made of the opening line so that it is more objective. I think it would read better as:

• "Anarchism in the United States began as a minarchist or possibly individualist anarchist philosophy in the mid 19th century..."

@Toliphant: Per wp:verifiability you would need to wp:cite a wp:reliable source which specifically states that Anarchism in the United States began as a minarchist... Right on. I think this is where I got that Godwin was a minarchist. (Brief mention) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Godwin -- It's not sourced either. My bias agrees with it as I've seen it implied, like on the Stanford philo site, but I'm not upset if it's removed. The only reason I care is I really like Godwin's view of increased education allowing reduction of government. I'd call it transitional minarchy, but my degree is in progress so I can't bring that into being. lol. It's definitely not individualist anarchy in an immediate uptopian sense whatever it is. @Jim1138: Thanks! I haven't edited wikipedia in a long time. I use mediawiki for my todo list so I get the basic markup but I tend to forget everything else pretty quick. I'd like to think I'll brush up and contribute more but it's usually only snippets after a facebook debate perturbs me to the point of doing something. Some of the bias towards more radical individualist anarchism on wikipedia might just spur me into action. I should probably do that more--kind of a reverse hulk; I get upset and turn into a little Ph.D. guy and write objective articles held to rigid academic standards. Someone should do that... The content in question on the Bank Street College of Education page cites articles (one from the NY post and one form a Fox news article based on the NYpost article) that are about the Bank Street School for Children, not the college. Sleeping while on duty - Japan

Hi, I tried editing an article on sleeping while on duty that says that Japan values sleeping at work because it shows diligence. The source was an article written by a non-Japanese person who had noticed a trend. I believe this is a false stereotype (I work in Japan, and I have asked around and received with 100% reliability: this is false), and would like to leave something in the article, such as "(disputed)" or "(take with a grain of salt)" but I don't have a reliable source and don't know the procedure for that kind of edit.

Ariane Bellamar

Hi Jim1138, The edits I made to the Ariane Bellamar page included sources. The alternate names were sourced from Santa Barbara County court records and the source was included in my update. The previous employment history has been well documented and while I didn't like using the particular source, I believe the Internet Adult Film Database can be considered a reliable source as well. The only thing I had trouble sourcing were the dates of the first two husbands. While I can find pictures and references to them, I cannot find actual marriage dates. Additionally, there were statements in the original article which were incorrect or incomplete. Those were clarified in my version. Please let me know which parts of the updated article are unfit.
