The Article Wizard is available to help you create an article, where it will be reviewed and considered for publication. For information on how to request a new article that can be created by someone else, see Requested articles. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – 2024 Nairobi mid-air collision. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speeedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. AusLondonder (talk) 16:52, 9 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I got hacked

[edit]

I suddenly found a user near my IP adress but I'm not gonna say it because it is a swear word. I got blocked from editing pages. Can you ban that user?

This blocked user's request to have autoblock on their IP address lifted has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request.

127.0.0.1 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · filter log · WHOIS · RDNS · RBLs · http · block user · block log)

Block message:

Autoblocked because your IP address was recently used by "Iamab**ch". The reason given for Iamab**ch's block is: "Vandalism-only account".

Decline reason: This appears to be a WP:GOODHAND situation. I will go block this account directly. Yamla (talk) 14:45, 14 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I am sorry! I didn't meant to create a abusing account. I created it just to see if I would still be okay. Can you spare me another chance? This time I will follow the rules and will not create sockpuppets anymore. Jfjfne (talk) 05:26, 19 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

No. You created another account after being blocked. —SpacemanSpiff 11:50, 19 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

After your block, you set up Chocolatecraver to continue evading your block. I strongly oppose unblocking this user at this time. --Yamla (talk) 10:04, 19 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Jfjfne (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

Ok I will never create them after I set up Chocolatecraver. I am very serious. I will not create accounts again after this. I'm never creating accounts after this. I learned my lesson. I am sorry for lying to all of you. I feel guilty after this. I promise to never evade blocks ever again. Jfjfne (talk) 12:10, 19 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. OhNoitsJamie Talk 13:01, 19 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

At this point, WP:SO is probably your best option. That requires six months with zero block evasion, zero edits. As of right now, that would make you eligible on 2024-09-19, assuming you cease evading your block and stop making edits (including here). --Yamla (talk) 13:15, 19 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
