I've added a clarification for the company's official title as Apple Retail Store. However the article title and lead will still remain Apple Store. I have quite a lot of material to expand this article, please do not revert while I'm in the middle of this work, instead you can just make a minor edit to the title if you disagree. Limefrost Spiral (talk) 17:00, 12 November 2013 (UTC)
- Want me start a requested move for the article for you? Its probably easier than having a situation where people will just keep reverting the two different article titles. It's not an ideal situation at all.
- Thanks ツ Jenova20 (email) 17:13, 12 November 2013 (UTC)
Review + smalltalk
Hey mate, I posted a question on the Wikipedia help desk, but for some reason it was removed. I noticed you are a reviewer, so I have a question. Wat does it mean exactly when an article is reviewed? I created several articles lately (is "article" the genuine English term? it may be dunglish?) and they were all "reviewed" (all favorably ;) ), is it mandatory to "review" all new articles? Just asking, it appears to be a somewhat recent implementation? Didn't encountered it like two years ago.
- The reviewed articles are: Teruelictis riparius, Afroaves, Scavaig River. By the way, the name of Trigonitis is wrong, it should be Trigonictis, do you know how to change that?
- Another question. I wrote quite some English text for De Biesbosch and it went fine I guess. However, it is listed as lacking sources, but most of the information comes from Dutch books, so how can I convince people the content is sound?
Now the smalltalk. I'm an heterosexual, but I strongly support gay rights! In fact, I'm so supportive of gays, friends often confuses it with having gay feelings myself, which is kinda annoying. It's like saying "fighting for the rights of animals means you have romantic feelings for animals", right? Not that you are animals or something, I really have the problem of being often misinterpreted due to my autism. I have several gay ladyfriends and I'm often hanging out and gaming with a gay (male) couple who live together in my street. So, I don't realy know where I'm heading with all of this, but I guess I just wanted to say I respect gays and I really like to see sexual orientation to become a "non issue". (the best friend of my brothers girlfriend is gay, and although he's exceptionaly queer, he's funny as hell :) )
So, ehr...Cheers! DaMatriX (talk) 22:51, 16 November 2013 (UTC)
- First up, are you sure it's "Trigonictis" since that gives me ~2000 Google results, versus ~390,000 for "Trigonitis"? I could move the page but would avoid doing so for an article with no references or evidence of correct spelling.
- Secondly, have you read Reviewer to see why the permission exists?
- Thirdly, "article" is the preferred term from what i've seen. Even the Wikipedia homepage uses it.
- Regarding De Biesbosch, you can't. You can cite non-english books and sources though. I think User:Worm That Turned once told me that you could use rare books of only one worldly copy and no one could argue with the citation without reading that section of the book.
- Last, thanks =D. I hope it becomes a non-issue in my life, but i highly doubt it since some people can't read their Bibles but continue to preach about them. Or ignore most of the rules and uphold others. Frankly they should be more concerned about so many other things than misinterpreting studies or trying to hunt gays as though they are a foreign import. Muslims countries especially like to scrub traces of homosexuality from their history, while ignoring that their "prophet" married a 9 year old girl. Hope i didn't miss anything. Thanks ツ Jenova20 (email) 09:23, 18 November 2013 (UTC)
- I'm pretty sure I didn't say no one could argue with the citation... On Wikipedia, people find reasons to argue with anything. However, you are right, Jenova - the accessibility of the source does not preclude its use, both Access to Sources and using non english sources are explained in the Verifiability policy. WormTT(talk) 09:44, 18 November 2013 (UTC)
- I might have worded it badly but trust that I know what i meant in my head. It wasn't easy to word. Thanks Dave ツ Jenova20 (email) 10:38, 18 November 2013 (UTC)
Your message
Hi! I saw in my notifications that you have thanked me for the editing I made to Android version history and left a message in my talk page. But, I'm sorry to say that the message isn't there, it perhaps deleted by you.

A thought on institutionalised homophobia
I saw your contribution on our esteemed founder's talk page. I wanted to give you a thought or two. I see such homophobia all the time, but, mostly, choose to set it aside. I do my best to make a difference where I can, one bigot at a time. Some of these people, you see, have no idea that they are bigots, and others don't understand how their remarks are hurtful.
To start to remove homophobia you need to look at floating voter theory. Put simply, with parties X and Y in an election the only way to change which party is elected is to influence those who are undecided. You will never change the rabid supporters of X or of Y, but you can, by working carefully, interest those who are undecided to vote your way. In the UK, try to make a Conservative supporter vote Labour. In the USA try to make a Democrat vote Republican. It isn't ever going to happen.
Look at the middle ground and woo the rational people in the middle who can listen to and understand arguments. For every 100 or more of them we influence we may turn a previously committed X or Y voter into a floating voter. They may still vote X or Y as before, but they will have thought about it.
I think you have made an excellent point on that talk page. you now have three choices:
- Continue, there, to engage with what will always become massive opposition by the masses
- Stop
- Quietly, make your case to the interested people who have expressed a desire to see justice done
I would always choose option 3 on the basis that I am one voice, but, by adding a voice, other voices may be added, too. And I would ensure that all my messages from that point in are quiet, measured, and scalpel sharp and incisive.
This is the reason I explain things, as on RT's talk page. I know that others will see these things and will form a view. If I explain well then they will consider my view. They may disagree, but that is absolutely fine. I have no need for all folk to agree, just the right folk. And the right folk are the floating voter, the undecided.
Am I making any sort of sense? Fiddle Faddle 17:12, 28 November 2013 (UTC)
- One thing that is amusing me right now is the weighty and almost heated discussion about WP:Fag and the pedestrian and logical discussion about WP:QUEER. I wonder about the correlation between the sexual orientation of those discussing the retention or otherwise of these redirects and their opinions. I suspect there would be some surprises in each direction. Fiddle Faddle 18:02, 28 November 2013 (UTC)
- It's certainly something to think about. I'll probably see what reply i get and base my response on the tone of it. I'm not one to allow a homophobic opinion go unchallenged though, and if it attracts more watchers and gets a decent discussion going, then i can only see that as a good thing and hope you contribute. Let's push some of these dinosaurs to Conservapedia. Thanks ツ Jenova20 (email) 18:21, 28 November 2013 (UTC)
- You got a decent response. The thing we need to work on, which is where the 'floating voter' stuff comes in, is the quiet charge to the removal of systemic bias. The redirect WP:Fag exemplifies it, as do many of the opinions to retain it. That one looks borderline and likely to be retained. We need to woo the reasonable folk Fiddle Faddle 11:49, 29 November 2013 (UTC)
- If "Fag" isn't deleted i'm creating WP:Twat and using that when i see "Fag" quoted. I fail to see the logic in the keep votes. Even the creator wants it deleted ツ Jenova20 (email) 12:19, 29 November 2013 (UTC)
- While being careful to make no accusations and thus no assumptions of bad faith, it seems to me that "Those fags deserve all they get. What right have they got to object to a word that we can use to dehumanise them? Let's find a reason to keep this insult!" is an arghument being deployed "intellectually" over this Fiddle Faddle 12:24, 29 November 2013 (UTC)
- Sounds like a very smart person...Although this being Wikipedia said user is probably 30-something years old and American? Thanks ツ Jenova20 (email) 12:47, 29 November 2013 (UTC)
- From experience the people concerned are just ordinary people with a posse mentality indulging in a locker room fantasy that it is fine to look at other guys and get aroused by them, but that does not make them gay. Striking out is their form of defence. The most vitriolic homophobes somehow seem to get press stories about their cruising airport toilets or renting nice young men as escorts. Fiddle Faddle 14:14, 29 November 2013 (UTC)
- "or renting nice young men as escorts" - damn! I'm so trying to think of that guy's name now. Reiker was it? Thanks ツ Jenova20 (email) 14:16, 29 November 2013 (UTC)

Great work!
Hi! I would definitely appreciate your suggestion, great!
I've gone through the website you mentioned and saw many steps, it was written that Windows update is the most important step to stay protected. By reading that, I've successfully installed important updates in my device. Another thing that was written that' the OS must be of latest which is fully supported by Microsoft and the web browser must be of newer version, I use Windows 8 and Firefox 23 (stable), so no need to worry. As far as antivirus, I use Quick Heal Total Security, so it gives me full protection. I also protected my account and replaced all my missing files.
I also need to delete those sections containing messages (inc. my signature) that carries various discussions regarding your sex. But from the subsequent messages (if you'll see there), you'll finally find that drew is not-at-all interested to delete them or archive them or compress them. Second reason for doing them is that, those messages contains my new signature which I think that it was one of the vast reason for my problem. So what shall I do to keep them partially hidden ? HPD (Talk, Facebook me, Tweet me) 17:24, 14 December 2013 (UTC)
- To be honest i wouldn't delete them either if the discussion was here as i like to archive old discussions and i'm not sure of your reasoning behind wanting them deleted. If you want them deleted then that's up to @Sonicdrewdriver: not me, since it's his userpage.
- And i'm not sure we discussed "my sex" anyway. It was sexuality, which is a different topic. Thanks ツ Jenova20 (email) 18:35, 14 December 2013 (UTC)
- Yeah! I'm quite poor in English and yes we are talking about your sexuality (not sex). As far as the reason, I want them deleted because those contain my new signature and those messages that may make you feel bad (as I think). Also how is my new screenshot of Android 4.4 KitKat on Nexus 4, i.e File:Android 4.4 with stock launcher.png ? It was just taken after a clean installation from a factory image in one of my friend's Nexus 4. It has been reverted two times. HPD (Talk, Facebook me, Tweet me) 16:03, 16 December 2013 (UTC)
- Well, deleting or hiding the messages is a decision for Sonicdrewdriver, not for me. The Nexus 5 image was discussed at Talk:Android version history i believe, and was not a "free" image due to some change that has been made to the launcher. This has been solved with the inclusion of an image that doesn't have the same launcher (or so i have been led to believe). Thanks ツ Jenova20 (email) 16:26, 16 December 2013 (UTC)
- Could you please tag the exact section ? I'm unable to find where those messages regarding Nexus 5 image was discussed. HPD (Talk, Facebook me, Tweet me) 12:02, 17 December 2013 (UTC)
- Hello there! Just to add, Google Experience Launcher (GEL) is also referred to as the Google Home. By the way, @HPD: signatures shouldn't include external links, please see WP:Signatures, and you currently have two of them in your signature. — Dsimic (talk) 14:15, 17 December 2013 (UTC)

Happy New Year
So 2013 ended with many ups and downs, starting from the release of blockbuster movies, new OSs, gadgets, cars and bikes, improve in social networking etc to meeting new friends, improving our editing skills, forming new groups.
But it also brought sad movements like the death of Paul Walker, Nelson Mandela to Cyclones like Phailin, Haiyan etc.
Finally, I'd like to conclude that several ups and downs are must in every year but we must be fearless and have faith in divine.
HAPPY NEW YEAR 2014.

VED
Hello, I'd be interested to understand the reasoning behind your insistence that Vehicle Excise Duty is "not a real tax" and why you believe that "technically there is no such thing as road tax." Presumably it's not not based on the flawed logic that says because most of the government revenue raised from VED isn't spent on the roads, it isn't therefore a "road tax". Are you trying to distinguish between the terms "excise duty" and "tax" when, in practice, there is no difference - both are devices used to raise government revenue. Oxford Dictionaries define "excise" (in this context) as a tax levied on licences granted for certain activities. The licence granted in this case being the Vehicle Licence#United Kingdom - a.k.a. the "tax disc". RLJer (talk) 22:01, 2 February 2014 (UTC)
- VED is most definitely a real tax. "Road tax" is just a common use term in some sections of society, a remnant from before Winston Churchill abolished it and changed the system of road repair and taxation. The sources in the article state as much. I didn't say VED wasn't a real tax. Thanks ツ Jenova20 (email) 22:21, 2 February 2014 (UTC)
- We agree it's a real tax then, at least. :-) Do you also agree with me that it is a periodic tax payable on motor vehicles using public roads? RLJer (talk) 19:13, 3 February 2014 (UTC)
- VED - yes. Road tax - no. Road tax is a term in common use, that doesn't mean anyone actually pays it or that it exists. Thanks ツ Jenova20 (email) 19:16, 3 February 2014 (UTC)
- We've seen the Oxford Dictionaries definition of "road tax" here[1]: "a periodic tax payable on motor vehicles using public roads." Why do you think, even though you agree that VED is "most definitely a real tax" and that VED is a periodic tax payable on motor vehicles using public roads, that VED is not thus also a road tax per the OD definition - as the two are synonymous? RLJer (talk) 19:47, 3 February 2014 (UTC)
- Wordplay means nothing. You can't pay a road tax in the UK because it was abolished over 50 years ago. Arguing otherwise is pointless Original Research. Thanks ツ Jenova20 (email) 19:52, 3 February 2014 (UTC)
- That's not wordplay, it's a literal definition. I don't know whether road tax was abolished 50 years ago, but if it was, it has been brought back again, this time called VED - the current periodic tax payable on motor vehicles using public roads in the UK, and there is no getting away from that fact, I'm afraid. RLJer (talk) 20:21, 3 February 2014 (UTC)
- VED is an emissions tax on roadworthy motorised vehicles. Do you want to look this up first before you argue your Original Research any more? "Road Tax" existed in the Pre-Churchill era and he abolished the ringfencing to avoid having the tax money permanently used only for road upkeep.
- Everyone pays for road upkeep out of general taxation, just as everyone pays for the NHS out of general taxation. VED is no more a "road tax" than paying VAT on a new car. The fact that a section of road users think that road tax still exists is down to certain groups refusing to use the correct language (including Which?) because the misbelief that the money is still ringfenced for road repair is still common to some.
- Thanks ツ Jenova20 (email) 15:40, 4 February 2014 (UTC)
- If you wish to see the biggest campaign group's info on the topic and its history. See iPayRoadTax. Thanks ツ Jenova20 (email) 15:49, 4 February 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks for throwing light on all that, I'm not convinced by your argument though, or that of ipayroadtax.com. I place my trust in the Oxford Dictionaries definition. No matter how much you dislike a particular word or phrase you cannot uninvent it, or undefine or redefine it.
- BTW, the word "road" in "road tax" means it is tax levied on the use of the road, not that the proceeds of the tax are used to pay for roads. Similarly, alcohol tax isn't used to fund alcohol drinkers or tobacco tax to fund the smoker's habit. RLJer (talk) 21:18, 4 February 2014 (UTC)
- The word "road" in "road tax" probably does mean that. But, as has been pointed out already VED is an emissions tax, which is why there is no fee for zero emissions vehicles, bicycles, horses, carts, etc. The UK does not have a "road tax", England at the least, but it does have VAT on buying a vehicle and an emissions tax.
- The Oxford Dictionary could say a pine cone was a four bedroom condo, but that wouldn't make it so. What's their exact description of a "road tax" and does it mention the UK? Thanks ツ Jenova20 (email) 12:07, 5 February 2014 (UTC)

Creation of article.
Hi bro!
How are you? Talking with you after a long break!!!!
As you must be notified regarding my edits in your talk page, i.e, editing Himanis Das to HPD, which I've usurped today. Well, before entering your talk page, I was in your user page reading something, I came to know that you have planned to create 3 articles.
But I saw a to-be-created article in that list which relates to a person named- Paul Pantone. I'm here to tell you that, before you create an article regarding persons, keep these important points.
- Make sure that the person is notable i.e, having some name and fame in the public.
- Second thing is that, you must add detailed information regarding the notable works he has done.
- Thirdly, don't let the article go WP:Stub, this makes the article look untidy.
- Fourthly, you must add as much as references along with his personal identity.
- Fifth comes, tagging of necessary categories, so that the article becomes easily searchable.
I'm telling you because before 4 months I've created an article named Ben Earl(a magician), but it was deleted due to lack of notable activities done by him and personal information.
Himanis Das/ HPD talk 17:39, 3 April 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks very much for the warning, but my current workload means I won't get to work on any articles for the foreseeable future. I'm also aware of most article creation rules and guidelines and BLP policy. Thanks ツ Jenova20 (email) 17:52, 3 April 2014 (UTC)
- Hello again! And sorry for late, I was very busy in preparing my project. And that's not the "warning", I've given you few tips that you should check before creating an article regarding persons. Anyways, don't you think that we must create an article by the name OS X Syrah like OS X Mavericks? There are few references I found on the internet, some are:

Wiki Loves Pride 2014
Hi Jenova20. In case you are not aware, there is an upcoming campaign to improve coverage of LGBT-related topics on Wikipedia, culminating with an international edit-a-thon on June 21. See Wiki Loves Pride 2014 for more information. If you are interested, you might consider creating a page for a major city (or cities!) near you, with a list of LGBT-related articles that need to be created or improved. This would be a tremendous help to Wikipedia and coverage of LGBT culture and history. Thanks for your consideration, and please let me know if you have any questions! --Another Believer (Talk) 17:55, 13 May 2014 (UTC)
- I'll think it over but I'm still not sure if I'll return at some point to finish my to-do list. I've not strictly left, but I'm not exactly active due mainly to the hoops LGBT editors have to jump through to get the same treatment and the clear bias shown by some Admins.
- This Wiki Loves Pride seems like a productive initiative though and I wish you luck with it.

Hi Jenova. I see you've been targeted by an IP recently. As he's blatantly trolling, I've semi-protected your page and removed his comments. If you are unhappy with this solution, let me know, it can be easily reverted. WormTT(talk) 10:25, 19 September 2014 (UTC)
- It's ok. While i don't like to use the censorship option, my lack of force was clearly becoming a problem with a certain troll. I felt comfortable using the word troll in this instance since my contributions clearly show i'm barely editing, and not editing LGBT topics at all (for quite a while! (too much aggro)). Thanks Dave and have a nice day ツ Jenova20 (email) 10:40, 19 September 2014 (UTC)
Merry Christmas!
HPD talk is wishing you a Merry Christmas! This greeting (and season) promotes WikiLove and hopefully this note has made your day a little better. Spread the WikiLove by wishing another user a Merry Christmas, whether it be someone you have had disagreements with in the past, a good friend, or just some random person. Happy New Year!
Spread the cheer by adding {{subst:Xmas2}} to their talk page with a friendly message.
You talk page seems to have been inactive since long. Are you there in Wikipedia or not? Anyways Merry Christmas. HPD talk 16:37, 24 December 2014 (UTC)
- I'm not active active, but i still do small edits on occasion. I don't edit like i used to though. Without going into boring detail, i gave it up since the aggro towards LGBT editors is prohibitive to a productive environment and it's virtually impossible to get an admin to do anything about serious incidents towards said editors. I found the easier way to quit than keep trying to get the system to work as policy states that it should. A minority can't change it and the problem editors want to use Wikipedia instead of Conservapedia, where they and their ideas would fit in better. Hope you had a nice Xmas and a happy new year. Thanks ツ Jenova20 (email) 17:39, 2 January 2015 (UTC)
curiosity question
I'm wondering -- purely out of curiosity, and because it looks cute, not because I disapprove or anything -- if your usage of the Katakana letter Tu ツ in your signature is because it looks like a smiley face, or for some deeper reason I'm missing? —Steve Summit (talk) 14:44, 28 December 2014 (UTC)
- Yep, smiley face all the way =]. Thanks ツ Jenova20 (email) 17:40, 2 January 2015 (UTC)
Legitimate alternative account?
Hey, Jenova20. Do you use a legitimate alternative account for any of the reasons listed in that link? Flyer22 (talk) 23:49, 2 January 2015 (UTC)
- No, i barely edit from this account. The last thing i need is a second account to not edit from. Thanks ツ Jenova20 (email) 23:51, 2 January 2015 (UTC)
- Okay, I asked because of RaeMaW (talk · contribs), whose first edit under that account was to your User:Jenova20/List of gay sex positions in March 2014, and who suddenly became very active editing Wikipedia today. The editor is not new to editing Wikipedia, and, after wondering if he is this guy, I wondered if he is you. You, RaeMaW, and Nowyouseeme (another editor who has edited User:Jenova20/List of gay sex positions) all showed up to edit today after not editing for some time, and I wondered if there is a connection there. Flyer22 (talk) 23:58, 2 January 2015 (UTC)
- I didn't just show up today, I've made at least a dozen contributions in the last week, and have edited every month for the last six years. NYSMy talk page 01:42, 3 January 2015 (UTC)

- Nowyouseeme, I know that you've been editing as Nowyouseeme for years. By "all showed up to edit today after not editing for some time" part for you, I mean that you had not edited since "December 30, 2014." I saw that all three accounts, which had stopped editing for some time, all edited on January 2, 2015 (despite Wikipedia now stating that it's January 3, it's obviously still January 2). I'm mainly wondering about the RaeMaW account. Flyer22 (talk) 01:50, 3 January 2015 (UTC)
- I was just a bit thrown off, I don't really think 3 days is that long ago. User:Jenova20/List of gay sex positions was just a draft page for a potential article that several people were contributing to who were interested in the topic. NYSMy talk page 01:57, 3 January 2015 (UTC)

- Three days is not that long depending on whatever matter at hand, but that is not the point. I am aware of the page in question being a draft, and what appear to be the usual editors of that page. I, however, am still mainly wondering about the RaeMaW account. If you do not know why, then see this section currently on my user page. It is odd that the RaeMaW account's first edit would be to another editor's draft/WP:Sandbox; another editor's draft/WP:Sandbox is not WP:Mainspace and does not show up in search engines in that way. RaeMaW's contribution history also registers to me as "this editor is not new." I know what I am talking about on matters such as these, and so I asked Jenova20 about the RaeMaW account. Flyer22 (talk) 02:17, 3 January 2015 (UTC)
- That is all good and peachy, best of luck to you in those matters. Just here defending my name since it was mentioned. NYSMy talk page 02:25, 3 January 2015 (UTC)

- I'm not currently too concerned with the RaeMaW account, since the account has yet to edit WP:Disruptively, and has thus far ignored this discussion. But I reiterate that the person operating that account is not in any way new to editing Wikipedia, and accounts like that always make me uneasy (especially because of bad experiences I've had with problematic editors returning under new accounts). Many experienced Wikipedia editors don't even know of the WP:Contractions guideline, and yet it appears that RaeMaW does. New Wikipedia editors usually don't know how to fix a date error such as this one, but, as can be seen by that edit, RaeMaW does. Anyway, I have other Wikipedia matters to attend to, as I'm sure you do as well. Flyer22 (talk) 03:17, 3 January 2015 (UTC)
For the record i only logged in to edit as i've been meaning to reply to the xmas message i got and kept putting it off. Having 2 people to respond to instead made the matter more pressing. I still don't plan to edit often. I'll probably do it only if i see something incorrect and want credit for fixing it. Thanks ツ Jenova20 (email) 20:41, 3 January 2015 (UTC)
- I'm sorry to hear that Jenova20. I was hoping to see you around a bit more now I'm off the committee :| WormTT(talk) 08:07, 5 January 2015 (UTC)
- It's unlikely. I've got proper hobbies now and Wikipedia is a lot of aggro for very little gain in the areas i enjoyed working in. I can't see anything has changed so for now i'm going to plod along as i have without letting Wikipedia and its drama run my life. Did you get my card by the way? Thanks ツ Jenova20 (email) 19:32, 5 January 2015 (UTC)

New LGBT Historic England project
Hi Jenova,
I really like all the work you've done on the Birmingham gay village page. I work for Historic England and we currently have an LGBT project called 'Pride of Place' where we're trying to map all the LGBT-significant places in England (see http://mapme.com/prideofplace) - feel free to add some things!
kind regards, Dominic Martin
- Thanks for that. The article never really got where i wanted before i burned out so it's nice to see appreciation for the attempt anyway. I was kind of hoping someone else would take the torch and finish that article as there's a lot of history there i just couldn't do on my own time. I may take a little look at your project but i'm not very active anymore so i don't expect to be much use unfortunately. Thanks ツ Jenova20 (email) 19:58, 7 July 2015 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
