Advice
[edit]In answering your request at WP:REFUND#januarytonight I promised you some more advice. The Welcome message at the top of this page has a lot of useful links, but is a bit overpowering. Here is a shorter reading-list:
- WP:Five pillars
- WP:Your first article
- Wikipedia:A primer for newcomers - intended as a "one-stop guide".
- WP:BOLD, revert, discuss cycle - describes how disagreement about an edit should be handled
You can ask for help at the WP:Help desk, or by putting {{helpme}}
at the bottom of this talk page with a question below it. In order to keep track of who said what when, contributions on talk pages (but not in articles) should be "signed" by ending them with a group of four "tilde" characters ~~~~
, which the system will turn into a "signature" of your username and the time and date, like this: JohnCD (talk) 21:50, 26 July 2014 (UTC)
