Ok. and Thanks for letting me know. Sincerely, Hellboy2hell (talk) 00:59, 15 June 2008 (UTC)

Sorry if you think it looks like I'm not paying attention and just going with consensus, but the fact is, Wikipedia is not the place to publish personal essays, hence my post. I really don't think it contributes anything further to the discussion to look for synonyms just so I can avoid using the same wording as the previous comment. --Stormie (talk) 07:26, 15 June 2008 (UTC)

78.105.167.146

Hey, this 78.105.167.146 guy was adding userboxes to my page like the "9-11 truth" "BDSM" and "Gay Pride" boxes, do u know anything about him and why he did it? I noticed your comments were all over his talk page. Dunnsworth (talk) 08:00, 15 June 2008 (UTC)

Nicking stuff from your userpage

Hiya. I've reached my first anniversary on WP, so to celebrate I'm going to try revamping my userpage (hmm...and I was telling YOU to get out more....what's this say about me ?!) - notwithstanding I have no idea about how I want it to look, or how to get it like I want it even if I did ! Aaannnyyhoo, would it be ok if I pinched some bits off your page ? I don't know what yet - it's just in case. :-) CultureDrone (talk) 10:25, 15 June 2008 (UTC)

Good luck with the last exam, and thanks for the offer - I might take you up on that - design isn't my strong point :-) But...no offense, but if it's your last exam and you have the summer free, shouldn't you be indulging in the traditional student habits of partying until 4am, drinking until you fall over, and waking up in a puddle somewhere, rather than spending time on here ?! :-) CultureDrone (talk) 14:36, 15 June 2008 (UTC)
...how many points if the bed you end up in is the mother of someone you don't know ? :-) CultureDrone (talk) 16:34, 15 June 2008 (UTC)

Deleting "Foreign Reports Inc."

The content previously in the "Foreign Reports Inc." entry is released under the GFDL. I have permission to release this information, as I wrote the information on the website. Unfortunately, I'm not able to update the website to reflect that, as I'm not an expert on operating websites and I'm not a wikipedia "watcher." What do I need to do to reactivate the "Foreign Reports Inc." entry? -arlenoil55

Birthday greets

I dunno when it is this week, so take a bite on the appropriate day (I couldn't find one with candles on, and there doesn't seem to be one with a load of empty bottles on it....for some strange reason !) :-) CultureDrone (talk) 08:26, 16 June 2008 (UTC)

Born in Wales, live in Hampshire, studied Computer Studies at Portsmouth - but it was Portsmouth Poly then, all those years ago !! :-) CultureDrone (talk) 09:01, 16 June 2008 (UTC)

Twinkles?

Just sharing with you, when reporting usernames for violating wikipedia's username policy, please follow up by placing a "Single Issue Warning" via Twinkle with the clause of [uw-username] or [uw-userpage] added to warn the user. This is done to let the Admin know that we have done the follow-up action and they will take over the rest. Hope this clear things up for you. Cheers mate! --Dave1185 (talk) 09:51, 16 June 2008 (UTC)

Re:New Leaf

Of all the responses that I thought would be posted on my page, that was not one of them. Thanks, I do hope that it will last. Will.M.Thompson (talk) 10:12, 16 June 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for creating this much-needed article! I'm curious why you took an interest in it. Katr67 (talk) 19:46, 16 June 2008 (UTC)

Deletions

I don't do that because sometimes on the new pages, people are making a bunch of pages, and I'm the only one evaluating them! So I try to go fast in the process, when I know I'm the only one evaluating the pages. Y5nthon5a (talk) 18:02, 17 June 2008 (UTC)

Did I add the program the right way, or do i have to do more? I added the code onto my .js page.Y5nthon5a (talk) 20:13, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
yeah, all those things are there now... "warn", "arv", etc. But yeah, so when I put a deletion on a page does it automatically add a thing on the author's page or how does it work if not?Y5nthon5a (talk) 20:17, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for this :) I'm using it now.Y5nthon5a (talk) 20:22, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
I'll be sure to do so. I mainly am going to use it for New pages, to get people that make stupid pages. There's never enough people patrolling them, ha. Y5nthon5a (talk) 20:25, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
Lol yeah, I know what you mean. i have done my fair share of stuff on this site; I've been on this site since around this time last year...Its something to do when you're bored, ya know? Haha...Y5nthon5a (talk) 20:29, 17 June 2008 (UTC)

Mark and Brian are a nationally syndicated duo, although it's not clear if the competition was national or not. It sill doesn't come across as a notable competition, even if it was national. Corvus cornixtalk 18:17, 17 June 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, but you said at one radio station, it was national, but I still agree with your assertion. Corvus cornixtalk 18:19, 17 June 2008 (UTC)

Like I said, it isn't clear if the competition was national or not, so if that's an attempt at a claim of notability, they need to expand it. KLOS is the mother station that Mark and Brian record their show from, but they broadcast all over the country. I do think their national broadcast is different from their local broadcast, however. I understand your confusion, the article isn't clear at all. I think a deletion may be inevitable.  :) Corvus cornixtalk 18:23, 17 June 2008 (UTC)

We'll see how it goes ... :0 Corvus cornixtalk 18:26, 17 June 2008 (UTC)

Please describe why a verified broadcast by a media network does not qualify for notability, when your guidelines state that "Notability is met if the musician has been the subject of a broadcast by a media network."
This article meets the criteria specified on the following webpage:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:MUSIC

In particular:
1. Notability is met if the musician has been the subject of a broadcast by a media network.
Their performance on June 12, 2008 was webcast to more than 200,000 viewers, through Citadel and ABC. That webcast can be viewed here:
http://radiosocalklos.net/joomla/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=123&Itemid=38
On that page, click the little forward icon on the video player; Chaindriven is #2 of 15.
—Preceding unsigned comment added by JackBaker5 (talkcontribs) 18:54, 17 June 2008 (UTC)

Your rules also state that a band is notable if they have " won or placed in a major music competition." Chaindriven won a national contest which took place over 6 weeks, which is described at the following two websites:
http://radiosocalklos.net/joomla/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=80&Itemid=1
http://radiosocalklos.net/joomla/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=81&Itemid=5

If a band meets two of your criteria, shouldn't they be considered "notable"? Otherwise, what is the purpose of your criteria?

Please let me know if I can re-add their article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by JackBaker5 (talkcontribs) 19:01, 17 June 2008 (UTC)

speedy deletion

i noticed my user page is up for a speedy deletion. i created this page for people to become more informed about myself as a person and as a musician. i do not have any negative or unappropriate content. i am not selling anything through wikipedia. i just wanted to add more avenues to be searched via the internet. if someone "googles" sugsworth, i want them to be able to find out as much info as possible so there is more reason to listen to my music. please let me know what part of my page should be revised to be suitable for your site. thanks. 19:21, 17 June 2008 (UTC)

CSD criteria

Hey there. Great work on page patrol. Just a note that you really can't make up your own CSD criteria like you did here. While it's pretty clear to you and I that this page won't survive for long, it really doesn't meet any speedy deletion criteria. Trust me, I agree with you that it's non-notable, but you should probably prod it or take it to AfD. Tan | 39 19:46, 17 June 2008 (UTC)

I remind you that songs, albums, etc. can not be deleted via speedy for lock of notability,so I changed Gimme Back My Brain to PROD. Please re-read WP:CSD, so then you';ll do things the correct way when you find articles that need to be removed . DGG (talk) 21:19, 17 June 2008 (UTC)

Steve Wright (bassist)

Hello, Ironholds! Please allow me to explain my point on Steve Wright (bassist). I created articles for 3 members of The Greg Kihn Band in a hurry, which explains the horrible (and I mean horrible) quality of the initial page of Dave Carpender - look at the history to see how bad it was. As a consequence, I failed to mention that he worked with David Johansen. And also, lack of individual notability is not covered by CSD. This argument would work at AfD, but CSD is only for total lack of notability. So the article could have been deleted under PROD or AfD, but not CSD. Thanks, Rdbrewster 18:50, 18 June 2008 (UTC)

I used to have a reference - it was at BassHero.com (http://www.basshero.com/w/wright-steve.html), but the site shut down recently. Rdbrewster 20:03, 19 June 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, maybe you're right. I'll try to find out more about these people to see if they match the notability criteria then. Thanks for the advice, Rdbrewster 16:30, 20 June 2008 (UTC)

Development page

This page was for re-writing the citations for history of computing hardware from the {{cite book}} to the {{harvnb}} and the Harvard {{Citation}} style. Yes, I have completed the re-write and will happily delete /y. Maybe I am done with an article for which I was volunteered (it wasn't even an article I specialize in) and can now consider it done. Otherwise, I might have to create a new development page to answer other FA reviewer concerns. --Ancheta Wis (talk) 12:39, 21 June 2008 (UTC)

adoption

Hi! Hope you are well. Sorry it took me so long to reply, for the past couple of days I've had my nose in "Heart of Darkness" and "The Secret Sharer" (don't know underscore) by Joseph Conrad, and "The Gallic Wars" (again...) by J. Caesar. Thanks for your offer and yes, I am interested. That will make this so much easier, sometimes I get really confused. I don't even know how to make a neat userpage, next to just boring text, that's why I haven't bothered to work on it. Also, I have problems understanding why referencing webpages are off limits. A lot of the times I can add something, but can't reference it so I just leave it. Like my last contribution on the Liger. I just watched something on National Geographic like thirty minutes ago on the liger, and I thought I'd take a chance and add it, but cannot reference it. Also, on the liger page, li-liger and ti-liger are linked to the liger page, but once you get there the page said nothing about either, so that is why I did what I did. The show on NG is called "Animal Oddities." I hope that your offer still stands and I haven't killed you already with all this. Thanks for offering to help. --coldgarden (talk) 05:40, 22 June 2008 (UTC)

Barnstar Design

Yeah, I will let you do that. P.S. Do so nicely, will you? ĤéĺĺвοЎ (talk) 13:31, 22 June 2008 (UTC)

You might want to MfD this ... G11 doesn't really apply to userspaces, as it's intended to keep "unencyclopedic" content out. It may fit the letter of the template, but I feel it shouldn't be speedied.

Cheers - Revolving Bugbear 16:47, 22 June 2008 (UTC)

I didn't mean it needed to "become encyclopedic"; that's just part of the standard csd template. I nominated it because it reads as blatant advertising for Martincolman, something that isn't acceptable as userpage content. Ironholds 18:20, 22 June 2008 (UTC)
I know it isn't, but I don't think template applies, and misleading tags should be avoided. Like I said, MfD is an option, or try talking to the user ... in general, I would say use {{db-reason}} when trying to speedy something that doesn't exactly fit what's on the speedy tag. - Revolving Bugbear 18:26, 22 June 2008 (UTC)

Please clarify personal info limits

You have indicated that http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Stcobb

was in violation of Wikipedia standards because it sounded like an advert. With respect, you have a lot of personal info on your page which makes you sound like a really cool person.

Indeed, you well be a very cool person, and as a user of Wikipedia I am glad there are people like you patrolling the place. But why was my personal page bad and yours okay?

BTW, I have since hacked back my page to be safe. Any clarification appreciated.

Point taken: user page changed

Hey, thanks for the expanded input. Now I get it.

When I first created my user page I was learning how to format articles. So essentially I made an article about me as an exercise. As you point out, that's not appropriate for a user page. Have now changed said page.

I appreciate your input and your adherence to the spirit of Wikipedia.

Rudi Vansnick

Thanks for your input to the AFD debate on Rudi Vansnick. Unfortunately, social networks bio pages - which are self-written - are not considered WP:SOURCE due to their non-compliant WP:NPOV positions. The two direct sources you quote for keeping the article are Social Network self bio's - Rgds, --Trident13 (talk) 22:34, 23 June 2008 (UTC)

  • Thanks for your further comment. Have a look at WP:BIO. Ghits are not a valid basis on which to make a notability decision - the person has got to have done something valid as there defined to make them notable. If you check the Ghits listings, then your single reference is (probably) valid but way back in the Ghits listing, and its only one source. Which is why I said in the nomination could not be improved to required Wiki standard through use of sufficient independent sources. Rgds, --Trident13 (talk) 11:39, 24 June 2008 (UTC)

Spice Girls

I thought they had broken up, but then as I read on further down the page I saw that they are still together, so I corrected it (and another sentence that referred to them in the past tense). You can see in my most recent edit that it uses present tense.

Also, I know that a capital letter after a full stop (or a period, as we call it on this side of the pond) is correct grammar; did I accidentally put a lowercase at the beginning of a sentence? If so, my apologies; please correct it for me.

Thanks, --Antodav2007 (talk) 17:26, 24 June 2008 (UTC)

You placed a copyvio tag on John Clint Williamson. The text in question was taken from a U.S. federal government site, and all works by the U.S. federal government are in the public domain and not subject to copyright. I removed the copyvio tag and added a {{USGovernment}} tag to clarify this. -- Eastmain (talk) 17:36, 24 June 2008 (UTC)

Garbadge Man

The criteria for including a song article is pretty vague- and is intentionally so. The most important statement in there to my understanding is that if an article is unlikely ever to grow beyond a stub, it should be merged. But it's quite likely to move beyond stub status and merging it would be confusing.

As I said on the talk page of the article, it is already longer and more notable than "Softer, Softest" (another Hole song, so of comparable value) which was only a single, while this song was the band's first video. I also feel, as I stated in the article's talk page, that the information about spelling ("Garbadge Man" vs. "Garbage Man") would be better-placed on the song's page instead of a trivia section on the album's page, trivia sections being frowned-upon by Wikipedia guidelines.

At this point, there are no additional notable songs, as far as I know, from the album, and thus creating a section on the page about songs from it would be pointless and confusing. It's notable enough to have it's own page and doesn't fit in better anywhere else.

I'll leave the tag on for now, but will most likely remove it before five days are up if we have no further discussion.

Thanks,

--Infinitegames (talk) 21:23, 25 June 2008 (UTC)

My userpage

I naturally speak English (as I was born in America) but have learned all of those languages that you see on my user page by myself. I put them there as an example of how fluent I am in the language. I feel it is a good barameter of how well someone speaks the language by how well they can write in it. Generally speaking (not everyone though) if someone can write in the language they can speak the language equally as well or even better. That is open for debate though and is only my opinion. I understand that every language has its own page. I thought it would be cool to display all of the languages I know on my userpage. I've said this previously but, I have learned them without any formal education in any of those languages. All of them (except English as it is my native tongue) are self-taught. Cbreseman (talk) 09:54, 26 June 2008 (UTC)

I don't know what your deal is. Nor do I really care. I have noticed though you seem to have a very odd fasination with others userpages. I find this very odd. I am glad you noted that I am allowed to do what I want with MY user page, since it is MY userpage. While I don't want to be rude, it isn't possible in this situation because of the wording that is going to be used. If you don't have anything worth while to add to my userpage (which I know you don't because whatever you want to add, I don't want there) stay off of there, except to glance at who I am when you first meet me. I really do not need a "supercop" to watch my page. Thank you for your very odd interest. Cbreseman (talk) 13:02, 26 June 2008 (UTC)

My Talk Page

Hey, thanks for your comment about my use of my talk page but, as you acknowledge yourself, it's long been established that editors can do whatever they want with their talk pages. I don't know about you but I'm only here to contribute to articles and have no interest in social chit chat or archiving my pages once a discussion is done. Funnily enough I don't offer unwanted advice out of the blue to other people for no readily apparent reason either but each to their own. Thanks again for your interest but why you want to watch my talk page is beyond me. Perhaps you'd use your time better by actually writing or improving an article? Radical thought I know.

I note that your user page states "I'm a deletionist; if I feel something isn't worthwhile, I will nominate it to be removed." Well, as far as my own talk page is concerned, I'm a deletionist too. I further note that you don't even write comments on your own talk page so I'm at a loss as to how anyone can follow a discussion here about anything. Futhermore you seem only to have been editing under this name since March of this year yet claim to have been using wikipedia since 2006 under another name which you don't disclose. How is anyone to look up a conversation with you in that time to check on your conduct or record of contributions? Why bother changing your name at all if clarity and accountability and maintaining historical records of conversations are such high priorities for you? I'm sure you'll answer all these questions on my talk page, as is your wont, and I will read it and when the discussion is done, I'll delete it. Thanks! Nick mallory (talk) 12:14, 26 June 2008 (UTC)

Hello again! Thanks for both your new comments on my talk page, I read them with much interest. You say that you changed your user name because you wanted a 'fresh start', well every so often I like a 'fresh start' on my user page. I find it a little odd that you keep displaying a long service barnstar won in your previous incarnation here, despite having expunged all other trace of it, but again it's your user page and you can do what you like with it, can't you? As for being sarcastic, well, at least I didn't threaten to come down on someone like a 'metric unit of building material' for using some element of my, by now much discussed, talk page. I was under the impression that anything we put on wikipedia can be used by anyone for any purpose without request or acknowledgement but I obviously missed the whole dropping a ton of bricks on someone's head thing in the guidelines. Are we done now? Feel free to delete this if you like, I certainly don't mind if you do. Nick mallory (talk) 12:28, 26 June 2008 (UTC)

Well, hello again. You do seem determined to continue this conversation. Could you clarify exactly which statements above you find 'rude'? I was merely offering my own thoughts on the matter, reminding you what wikipedia policy has to say and pointing out a few logical flaws in your argument based on your own, abbreviated, record of conduct. Does this constitute being rude at all? Did I threaten to come down like a ton of bricks on anyone? I'm at a loss to find your point of contention here. This really isn't worth arguing about you know. Nick mallory (talk) 12:35, 26 June 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for your new message, although it merely underlines my point that such chit chat doesn't really contribute to building wikipedia. As our brief but intense relationship seems to be drawing quickly to a close I would merely point out that one may talk of a 'ton' of bricks if one is using the Imperial system and indeed a 'tonne' of bricks when employing your preferred metric measurements but a 'tone of bricks', as you wrote on my soon to be resurfaced talk page, really doesn't make much sense. Perhaps you're thinking of the whistling sound they might make through the air as they fall on someone's head, as in a roadrunner cartoon? I'm sorry to be 'some character giving you grief' but, as you'll recall, this discussion wasn't my idea in the first place and you did specifically invite me to 'drop you a line' on your talk page if I wanted to discuss your initial comment. Thanks for discussing it with a third party without informing me, I'm glad to know I'm so interesting. I'm sure you're doing sterling work Sir and this has been fun, um, cheers! I note that you say "...I'd have been tagging more except a certain editor on my talk page is generally being rude. Ahh well. It's a good argument for the whole "age should not be a factor on wikipedia" thing, because that guy has been around for two years and is bloody rude and immature. Ironholds 12:42, 26 June 2008 (UTC)" on another editors talk page. You have criticised me on my talk page for being 'rude' and impolite and yet you see fit to use such comments to a third party about me? I find that rather strange. As for being immature, I did my Economics degree at the London School of Economics twenty years ago. Still, you're obviously wise beyond your years and I must be foolish beyond mine. I too would rather have used this time for writing new material for the benefit of others, I once again remind you that you started this discussion and invited me to contribute. Best wishes my friend. Nick mallory (talk) 12:52, 26 June 2008 (UTC)

Deleted page: HAMS Harm Reduction Network

Dear Ironholds

I am interested in talking to someone about putting up a page for the HAMS Harm Reduction Network. I understand that the original page was deleted because it was a mere stub without documentation which did not establish the significance of the organization.

I would like to put up a full blown wikipedia article on this organization which provides references and demonstrates significance.

Can you help me by telling me how to go about doing this?

Here is the link to the deleted page http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=HAMS_Harm_Reduction_Network&action=edit&redlink=1

IP Reporting

Just a word of advice to be careful when reporting vandals. This vandal was a valid report, but only back in 2005. I made the same mistake and blocked before noticing the year when someone else removed the report from AIV. Hiberniantears (talk) 14:17, 27 June 2008 (UTC)

Bands that have toured outside of their home country pass WP:MUSIC, and thus cannot qualify as A7 deletions. If you're convinced its a hoax, try AfD instead. WilyD 15:57, 27 June 2008 (UTC)

Not a Hoax

The article you had told me I made was a hoax: The Matrix Revisited (Part 4), was not a hoax. I had read it while searching Google for "The Matrix Revisited" so I could buy it, before I got to a website I knew I could buy it from. There was this one website involved in movies, politics, and government including the Englush language?? and it had mentioned that there was going to be a Matrix 4 movie. YouTube user's all over the world started making fan trailers (if you don't believe me, check it out: http://youtube.com/results?search_query=the+matrix+4+trailer&search_type=&aq=f

You can keep the page deleted :) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Spritetimberlake (talkcontribs) 20:58, 27 June 2008 (UTC)

Your threat message on my talk page

I explained my changes on the talk page - please avoid threats!--72.75.24.245 (talk) 00:51, 28 June 2008 (UTC)

Can you please show me where user 72.75.24.245 has survived checkuser test ?--Rjecina (talk) 17:59, 28 June 2008 (UTC)
Can you please show me where on this list is 72.75.24.245 ? I see 6 times 71.252.xxx.xx and 1 time 153.39.144.157 but not 72.75.24.245 ?--Rjecina (talk) 20:10, 28 June 2008 (UTC)
Full story about this checkuser test is here. You can see that this user has not been cleared.
About books I will show you example in article Ivo Andrić. IP 71.252.83.33 is deleting statement confirmed with 6 internet links (1 of links is New York Times) that his parents are Croats. He is writing that his parents are Serbs which is "confirmed" with 2 books and internet link which is not saying anything about his parents [1]. After doing this there is only 1 problem: Wikipedia is having document which is telling that he is Croat so IP 71.252.83.33 is going to commons with demand that document is deleted because of copyright violation [2]. Now tell me in your thinking if it is possible to trust books of this banned user ?
Do not be angry but you are not first or last which has fallen to his words. For me greatest problem are discussions with other users in which I need to explain every time who is this vandal.--Rjecina (talk) 20:30, 28 June 2008 (UTC)
Banned users are not allowed to edit, write comments or anything similar--Rjecina (talk) 20:32, 28 June 2008 (UTC)
He is going down. 4 reverts in article Magnum Crimen and his "book" edits in article Ivo Andrić.
On other side he is puppet because user:72.75.18.173 and user:72.75.5.121 are confirmed puppets of banned user which is using multiple IP address for editing Croatia WWII related articles. This is more than enough because it is not possible to block all his IP address. Nothing will happen if we block 72.75.24.245 when he will tomorow create 72.75.23.136 (example). I am not interested in banning this IP but if you want you are having evidence.--Rjecina (talk) 23:37, 28 June 2008 (UTC)
This is something new. If you are willing you can do this :) If nothing else we will solve 1 of problems. Until now I know not 1 but many of his IP ranges (example:confirmed by checkuser User:71.252.83.230 and user:71.252.101.51 or suspected by other users 4.249.xx.xx range) but I am interested what will happen if range 72.75.xx.xxx is blocked.--Rjecina (talk) 23:55, 28 June 2008 (UTC)
It is more that enough to ban 72.75.5.xxx until 72.75.25.xxx if it is possible . Our 3 IP 72.75.xx.xxx are in this range--Rjecina (talk) 23:59, 28 June 2008 (UTC)
Thanks. If you are interested to know more about this user you can go to user:Velebit page where are links to his puppets or user:Standshown (never confirmed but suspected. Banned because of multiple accounts) or user:Stagalj. Until now he has been banned in 2006, his puppets in 2007 (2 times) and 2008 (2 times). Must of the time on wiki I am looking for his puppets.
I am sure that you are thinking why this obsession ? You can look for reason in article Independent State of Croatia. This is today version and this is user:Velebit version. Simple speaking I do not understand problem of this user, but if somebody is writing similar bullshits about your country or nation I am sure that you will react ?! Thanks and bye--Rjecina (talk) 00:29, 29 June 2008 (UTC)
User:72.75.24.245 has started ANI action where there has been proposition for start suspected puppet case and so...You are invited to Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/Velebit2--Rjecina (talk) 19:44, 29 June 2008 (UTC)
Be free to rewrite case .--Rjecina (talk) 22:00, 29 June 2008 (UTC)
You will be surprised but I am NPOV editor which is hating nationalistic POV articles. It is possible to see this from history of my edits. My 2008 wiki work is Timeline of Yugoslavian breakup. I am hoping to find enough respected internet sources so that Balkan nationalistic edit warring will end--Rjecina (talk) 23:33, 29 June 2008 (UTC)

Why?

Why did you delete my page? It added no more input than articles about other companies, it's just because I'm not as famous as other companies, like OMNI for example, that article states nothing notable about the company, I only ask why? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rab777hp (talkcontribs) 15:23, 28 June 2008 (UTC)

IWF edit

After researching the founders and key members of the Independent Women's Forum I found that they have close ties to the republican party many are have very close ties to the leadership of the republican party so why did you change my edit ? if i'm wrong tell me how if I'm not then don't change my edit —Preceding unsigned comment added by Misterted (talkcontribs) 10:09, 30 June 2008 (UTC)

I noticed that you are planning to add all missing species of cricetids, including the oryzomyines. Would you mind leaving up those animals to me? I am sure you will write decent articles on them, but I have probably got access to more literature about these animals and I'd like to describe some more of them in Wikipedia. I'm also planning to update the Oryzomys-related pages to accommodate that genus's being split into about 12 new genera. Ucucha 10:19, 30 June 2008 (UTC)

I responded on my talk page. Ucucha 11:27, 30 June 2008 (UTC)

The discussion is on the talk page, but basically I deleted a pointless heading (=Discussions=), and two users disputed it, but there was a misunderstanding as to what they were disputing. I thought they disputed removing the heading, but actually they disputed the level of the headings, so I lowered everything by one level as they should be. MrKIA11 (talk) 12:20, 30 June 2008 (UTC)

IWF 2

I didn't know one could defame someone if you tell the truth about them. I happened to see the current President and CEO Michelle Bernard on the McLaughlin Group and because of the things she said I got very interested in the group she represents. So I went to the IWF website and I noticed a lot of republican talking points and buzzwords so I did further research and I find that the founding members are all very conservative republicans (Mrs. Olson, Mrs. Blair, and Mrs. Silberman), if you have research that says they are not point me to it. As well as what Wiki calls it's key members are all conservative republicans, if anyone of them is not a conservative republican give me the name. All there money and associations are with conservative groups, if you find that i'm wrong on any of this let me know. The reason I changed the Wiki article is because my research tells me that they are a stealth group masquerading as independent while really being part and parcel of the republican party. Do you even know who Lynne Cheney (the Vice President's wife) and Kate O'Beirne ( her husband was responsible for hiring political hacks instead of professionals in Iraq for the first two years of the war), These are hard core Neo-con's they don't compromise your either with them or against them. When people search for information on this group they need to know what they are not what their spin says they are. Mrs. Bernard shows up on TV quite a bit these days pretending to be an independent or left leaning voice, well she's not. To often Mrs. Brenard is appears on cable news shows as the only left leaning voice against one or more known conservatives to make it appear to be a balanced discussion and people need to know who she is and what she represents and who runs her group.. i'm not sure how to sign this thing yet. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Misterted (talkcontribs) 13:16, 30 June 2008 (UTC)

IWF 3

All the proof i need is already on the Wiki page. Of the names listed as founders or key members of the IWF which of those women is not a republican. All of these women are connected at the highest levels of the bush administration, or the McCain campaign, and the republican party. their donors listed on the Wiki page which are not conservative groups. just Wiki or google the names of the people and the groups. look at the notes at the bottom of the page all the proof is already on the Wiki page all i did was put it together. just follow the links !!!!!

it's going well

I have a pair of days with logging in, or doing only some minor stuff. Let's see if I start getting some real work done :) --Enric Naval (talk) 21:40, 30 June 2008 (UTC)
