Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Spam squelcher.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. WODUP 03:49, 25 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for Image:Dare Not Walk Alone.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Dare Not Walk Alone.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 21:07, 21 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

your userpage

[edit]

Quick warning about it; it reads as an advertisement. We allow limited personal information, but not to the point where it acts as promotional material. You might want to change that. Ironholds 15:47, 22 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Not to sound rude, but if reading as an advertisement it can actually be deleted, Ironholds 16:42, 22 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It's a different kettle of fish. Mine is simply I'm a student, here's some stuff I like. I'm afraid that firstly the layout looks like an article; Wikipedia userpages aren't for full biographies, and secondly phrases like "A 'serial entrepreneur' and internationally known information speaker" aren't really appropriate. Ironholds 17:32, 22 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Ahh ok, that explains it. Thanks for taking it well and maturely; normally I get editors who wikilawyer up and start throwing policies at me to bog me down. Ironholds 18:18, 22 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

FYI

[edit]

I've added a potential section for your "Rainbow Technologies" entry. (don't know if you get notice of that, or *this* for that matter...) It needs work, I'm sure. I'll try to check the talk section there, if you think my input is useful. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 38.80.236.157 (talk) 22:44, 30 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Rainbow Technologies has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No evidence this company passes WP:NCOMPANY. BEFORE doesn't show anything but mentions in passing/primary sources/press releases and like.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
