My Revert

[edit]

Well I didn't believe it was an 'inappropriate' external link... but since that time someone has deleted nearly every external link the page had... so i guess its a lose-lose. MrMacMan Talk 19:58, 13 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Honestly, no apologies necessary. :O) Collateral damage to other people is just a problem associated with IP vandalism. I saw one message last night on an talk page from someone from my neck of the woods who was genuinely shocked and appalled (and very very annoyed) by a warning for vandalism from about three weeks ago which they didn't have anything to do with. These things happen. But, thanks for the message. Flowerpotman talk|contribs 23:14, 29 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You've reverted a lot of vandalism to my userpage over the couple of days. Thanks! — Scientizzle 00:49, 10 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Heh. Thanks again. Seems I've ticked off someone living in Colorado Springs, Colorado...every one of those IP attacks that you've reverted has been from there.[1]Scientizzle 23:18, 10 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Invisible Noise. An automated process has found and removed an image or media file tagged as nonfree media, and thus is being used under fair use that was in your userspace. The image (Image:Atomic Breath.jpg) was found at the following location: User:Invisible Noise. This image or media was attempted to be removed per criterion number 9 of our non-free content policy. The image or media was replaced with Image:NonFreeImageRemoved.svg , so your formatting of your userpage should be fine. Please find a free image or media to replace it with, and or remove the image from your userspace. User:Gnome (Bot)-talk 04:46, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Little context in Machine gunning

[edit]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Machine gunning, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Machine gunning is very short providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Machine gunning, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. --Android Mouse Bot 2 16:47, 19 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That doesn't confirm ANYTHING about the Wii version. Until it's official, please don't add Battra.Invisible Noise (talk) 03:21, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Why else would Battra be on that page? They wouldn't add him for nothing. --Naruto134 00:00, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It's still not official, and they may be talking about the DS version. Please don't add unsourced info. And that does NOT count as a valid source.Invisible Noise (talk) 03:24, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I got more proof for you. [2] Battra's copyright is on the back of the cover of the PS2 version. --Naruto134 00:00, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Don't think he's innocent, he insulted me aswell and giving me a smart attitude.

Hey the info you got is out of date, did you read http://www.tohokingdom.com/vg/godzilla_unleashed.htm and the Battra article? They don't have them! Also, if you think the Godzilla Wii website will help, it's not. The website is outdated or that they're cleaning it up.

Are you kidding me! Did you read Battra's article on the video game apperance? And never call me STUPID! I'm the one that's been "truly" been following up on the game!

Battra has appeared in the SNES games: Super Godzilla and Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters in the wrath attack (Dark Echo) of Mothra. In Godzilla: Save the Earth, Battra could be summon via a particular powerup, similar to what Mothra did in the Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee. He will be playable in the DS version of Godzilla: Unleashed, but not in the Wii version since all 26 kaiju have been revealed without Battra being one of them.

Told yah!

Chill yourself, your saying it because your wrong. So STOP.

And second, you keep delenting my comments. So that means that you're wrong. Admited.

You're stupid. I know I'm right so back off.

He should be reported aswell. --Naruto134 00:00, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You triggered the edit war. So no.Invisible Noise (talk) 04:07, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Oh no you don't. This guy isn't going to get away with this by acting innocent. He triggered it, not me, he constantly kept removing my content and undoing is not vandalsim or edit war. And don't you dare give me no. --Naruto134 00:00, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Already did. --Naruto134 00:00, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Barneythedino2.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Barneythedino2.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 12:32, 7 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Shinichi Ishihara

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Shinichi Ishihara requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. LegoTech·(t)·(c) 03:17, 9 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Junichi Haruta

[edit]

"Jyunichi Haruta" is clearly how the man's name is spelled on the website you lifted the image from and claimed it as free, when it clearly was not. Any more improper activities from you, and this account will be blocked.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 07:17, 16 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

How was that improper? I've seen it spelled like that nowhere else.Invisible Noise (talk) 02:05, 19 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Official profile says "Jyunichi" which is the actor's preferred spelling. That is always used on Wikipedia if it is known. And if you don't know about pictures, you shouldn't upload them.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 03:19, 19 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello Invisible Noise! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 4 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 54 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:

Nomination of Taku Kitahara for deletion

[edit]

A discussion has begun about whether the article Taku Kitahara , which you created or to which you contributed, should be deleted. While contributions are welcome, an article may be deleted if it is inconsistent with Wikipedia policies and guidelines for inclusion, explained in the deletion policy.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Taku Kitahara until a consensus is reached, and you are welcome to contribute to the discussion.

You may edit the article during the discussion, including to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. --Jezebel'sPonyobons mots 18:02, 2 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference

[edit]

Hello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have (or very recently had) enabled.

On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being 'minor'. The only thing that's changed is that you will no longer have them marked as minor by default.

For established users such as yourself there is a workaround available involving custom JavaScript. If you are familiar with the contents of WP:MINOR, and believe that it is still beneficial to the encyclopedia to have all your edits marked as such by default, then this discussion will give you the details you need to continue with this functionality indefinitely. If you have any problems, feel free to drop me a note.

Thank you for your understanding and happy editing :) Editing on behalf of User:Jarry1250, LivingBot (talk) 17:21, 14 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Masaki Yamada (musician)

[edit]

Hello Invisible Noise,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Masaki Yamada (musician) for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks, Mr T(Talk?) (New thread?) 11:00, 17 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Masaki Yamada (musician), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Japanese (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Proposed deletion of Jack in the Box (band)

[edit]

The article Jack in the Box (band) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unotable band that has been marked as that since 2012 with very little info that even says they are not that well known.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
