Use of nonfree images

[edit]

Under the English Wikipedia's nonfree content policy and guidelines, only one nonfree (copyrighted) image of the subject may be used in a biographical article. If an appropriate free images is available, no nonfree images may be used. The multiple nonfree images in Hubert Thomas Delany do not meet our policy requirements. If you have the authority to release the images under an appropriate license, more than one image could be used -- but that would require you to identify, at a minimum, either the original copyright owner or the circumstances of original publication. Ownership of the physical photographs does not demonstrate the authority to license. Copyright issues are often horridly complex, and if you want further information. I suggest asking for advice at the copyright noticeboard. The Big Bad Wolfowitz (aka Hullaballoo) (talk) 23:57, 16 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
