I'd like to know how I make an official complaint to wikipedia about YOU
Please explain why you think supporting a serial fraudster with a criminal record , who is in clear violation of Wikipedia Polices, as well possibly defrauding the public is "constructive"
I write to draw your attention to the following article which you reverted, and lobby for its removal.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dragonfly_Productions#Location
1) The Article is about a video production company based in Brighton which, according to official government records has a turnover of less than £70,000 – This does not meet Wikipedia’s criteria in terms of notoriety.
2) The article was originally placed on Wikipedia by one Charlie Southall – the owner of the company. This clearly breaches the principal that Wikipedia is not to be used as a promotional platform
3) The video production company in question uses a name easily confused with that of another, BAFTA award winning company – Charlie Southall has in previous edits tried to claim credit for their work. This is unlawful ‘passing off’ and a breach of several statutes.
4) Wikipedia is potentially implicated in any passing off action by knowingly allowing the highly inaccurate information to stand.
I have appended below the ACCURATE edit WHICH YOU REMOVED AND REPLACED WITH MATERIAL THAT BREACHES BOTH WIKIPEDIAS POLICIES AND THE LAW!
Southall has folded his 'micky mouse' company at least three times.
I will have it noted that Charlie Southall HAS tried to re-edit the page to promote his own unverified lies… And that is what YOU are endorsing -
I am pointing out to you that the information you have removed in supported and cites OFFICIAL GOVERNMENT RECORDS
I STRONGLY recommend that the data outlined below is properly accessed and investigated. You will find almost all this material is gathered from official public records, is entirely accurate and fully checkable – Unlike the version of events being punted by Charlie Southall.
I am recommending that the page be REMOVED.
Mr Southall is now the subject of an investigation into allegations of him having failed to meet court obligations following a criminal conviction for assault.
http://www.ripoffreport.com/Search/charlie%20southall.aspx
This company is NOT to be confused or associated in any way with Dragonfly Film and Television Productions which really IS a credible and entirely legitimate broadcast television company [1] The REAL Dragonfly Productions has produced well over 150 hours of broadcast television, which includes BAFTA Award winners. The original text of this section - which is really about a small video production company based in Brighton, with a turnover of less than £70K was (according to page records) placed on Wikipedia by Charlie Southall himself (something of a contravention of the principal that Wikipedia is NOT a promotional platform) it read: HOWEVER... According to Companies House [2] data gathered and referenced at Duedil - A UK company reference source - [3] - Dragonfly Productions UK Limited "was launched in January 2005 by Charlie Southall." Official UK Government data reflects the company was not incorporated until 27 May 2005 and was in fact dissolved on 22 Nov 2011 following moves to have the company struck off. The company folded with debts exceeding £30,000 UK Government information [4] makes it clear that: "Sections 1004 and 1005 of the Companies Act 2006 set out the circumstances in which the company may not apply to be struck off. For example, the company may not make an application for voluntary strike off if, at any time in the last 3 months, it has traded or otherwise carried on business" This, combined with official records clearly indicates that Dragonfly Productions UK Limited, the company started by Southall in 2005 has not traded since at least the 22nd of August 2011. Further noteworthy information is that the trading and registered addresses for this, now defunct company were in fact mailing/accommodation services provided by SRC Taxation Consultancy Limited [5] There is actually no evidence the company was ever actually operated from London. Official records of Directorship accessed via Duedil [6] show Southall as having utilised the "Dragonfly" brand several times - These records show two manifestations of 'the company' that have folded. The current manifestation of Southall's 'Dragonfly' productions is, in fact "Dragonfly Digital Video Services Ltd"[7] which, according to oficial records has both its registered office and trading address as: Blenheim House 56 Old Steine Brighton East Sussex BN1 1NH United Kingdom It was incorporated on the 10 Mar 2011 This is, of course entirely at odds with the claims to be "london based" or established in 2005. Furthermore, the address used is ALSO found to be the address of SRC Chartered Accountants [8] - A company that does offer its clients both mailing-accomodation and registered office addresses. In fact 18 Soho Square, the address claimed to be Dragonfly's 'London Base' is merely a Mailing Address & Meeting Room facility in central London run by Callitech Limited, Trading as 'Moneypenny' - There is no physical presence of the company there, and the facility is used by many dozens of clients. Part 5, Chapter 6 of the Companies Act 2006 concerns the trading disclosures, brought into force by the Companies (Trading Disclosures) Regulations 2008 (as amended) on 01 October 2008. According to that statute every company must:[9] The company must show in legible lettering, on all business letters, order forms and any of the company's websites:
the place of registration the registered number the registered office address, and if it is being wound up, that fact
Attention is drawn to the fact that not only is the place of registration missing from any material published by Charlie Southall in relation to Dragonfly productions, he repeatedly mis-represents his business as 'London Based', citing the Soho address. Clearly this is a material matter, as truly London based production companies can command much higher feees than those outside London. In a self-published article, Southall is described as - [10] "With an Audi sports car, a Soho office" - Factually, he has no "Soho Office", merely paid access to a public meeting facility there. Researching the issue with respected legal sources [11] we discover that: "The tort of deceit provides a civil remedy for an individual who has relied on a false representation to their detriment and requires the following elements to be proven:
An individual has made a representation to another party which is false The individual knows it to be false or was reckless as to the truth of the statement There is an intention to deceive and it is acted upon Loss is suffered as a consequence"
Clearly then there is a wilfull mis-representaion of this company being "London Based" which, if relied upon by a client could cause loss in the sense that London rates are charged for a provincial service.

- Like I say - this page REALLY needs removed... It's not only a pack of lies placed there by Southall - it breaches Wikipedia policies... And yet you guys keep deleting the truth derived from government records!!!
- I'm getting REALLY tired of Wikipedia moderators supporting this shiester...

- Pot - Kettle - Black - You DEMONSTRATED bad faith (in breach of Wikipedia policies) a) failing to check if my edit was accurate - this despite it being littered with official government references and b) deleting the information therein...
- Failing to check incidentally if there were any other issues - such as the page having been put there in the first place by the OWNER of the dodgy company it tries to promote!
- And, no, actually, I am trying to undo the damage you did...

Japanese American Internment
The figure is totally unsubstantiated. If you go to the source that was cited (for percentage of Citizens interned) you will see that the figure in the wikipedia page does not appear. Furthermore, the whole page has serious issues, namely the use of Japanese Americans. Prior to WWII Asians could not be naturalized citizens, and therefore were not Americans. They may happen to have lived in America, but they were not American. The exception to this, of course, is those that were born in America. If a person of Japanese decent was born on American soil they are automatically citizens. However, current historical sources show this to be a small percentage of of those that were interned. In essence, some citizens, or Japanese Americans, were interned but the majority were Japanese citizens living in America. I am not sure how to fix the page. I feel that correcting the page could result in PC double-talk. Maybe you could fix it as you see fit. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.252.182.148 (talk) 23:02, 2 March 2013 (UTC)

Please help.
My name is Charlie Southall and I am under attack. I run a video production company in London called Dragonfly Productions.
The wikipedia page about my company Dragonfly Productions is being repeatedly vandalised by a vary angry individual.
I am aware who is doing this, they are a competitor video company based in Scotland. They have also posted false articles about my company online and created an entire webpage aimed at damaging my reputation.
I amended the wikipedia page (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dragonfly_Productions) back to display correct information about the enterprise, but each time, it is vandalised once more. It is becoming a game of cat and mouse.
Please can you tell me what can be done about this? The information which is being posted is untrue and defamatory.
I have involved the police and IP addresses have been passed over. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.6.232.134 (talk) 10:14, 3 March 2013 (UTC)
- You can use user warnings on the IPs' talk page--since the IP has been doing this for a while, I'd suggest using the "Level 4-im" level warnings. When they do it again after either kind of level 4 warning (which they probably will), you can report it to Administrator Intervention against vandalism board, explaining the situation there, and the IP might be blocked.
- I believe this is one of the few times that Cluebot NG is wrong, and also the few times where you can edit an article where you have a conflict of interest.
- Sad to say, you'll probably be taken more seriously if you get a screen name. I dream of horses (T) @ 15:01, 3 March 2013 (UTC)

Dear, I Dream of horses, “Global Urbanism” is not a neologism, as can be a new word or phrase. It is the name of a new concept, aligned with the new mainstream thinking. If it was not new, would have already been included in wikipedia. How many people do you think that is needed to categorize it with “mainstream acceptance”? Do you need to be included? Wikipedia can act as a polling firm? The source is correct. There are no other sources because it is new. New sources will be included in the future.
Thank you very much,

Changes to Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada
Hi Emily,
I write on behalf of Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada, a not-for-profit organization.
Recently, you undid edits to our Wiki page. Unfortunately, this has again resulted in incorrect, erroneous and misleading information being posted on our page.
In no way was our updated post to Wikipedia 'promoting' or 'advertising'. Rather, we were correcting misinformation posted on the site.
We would appreciate you reverting to our updated post. We do not want to mislead readers, as the current post does on Wikipedia.
Thanks Emily,

STiki
Please be more careful when using STiki that you don't inappropriately label and revert edits as vandalism, as you did here. When you see an edit with edit comment "correct source title"
follow the advice laid out at WP:STiki and check to see whether the edit is correct. Also, please remove the template you've mistakenly added to my previous talk page. -- 92.2.67.52 (talk) 05:35, 26 March 2013 (UTC)
- I did read the edit summary out of the corner of my eye--even if I had focused in on it, I still would've reverted the edit. Unfortunately, vandalism often is hidden behind innocent-looking edit summaries. So, in fact, I was following the advice at WP:STiki. --I dream of horses (T) @ 05:49, 26 March 2013 (UTC) (corrected redlink at 05:51, 26 March 2013 (UTC))
- No, you were not. Please reread the section on Using STiki. You'll find that if an edit is not "blatantly unconstructive and intentional in its malice" and there is uncertainty over the constructiveness of the edit then you are advised to check the edit. In this case that would have simply involved clicking on either one of the two links to the source article. -- 92.2.67.52 (talk) 06:06, 26 March 2013 (UTC)
- In any case, thank you for removing the template. -- 92.2.67.52 (talk) 06:10, 26 March 2013 (UTC)

I appreciate your thanks and recognition. I also thank you for all of your good work on reverting vandalism. Unfortunately, it is necessary to keep wikipedia credible. If some random guy in IRC tells you to do something, maybe it's a good idea to have your own justifications for doing it. IRWolfie- (talk) 10:13, 26 March 2013 (UTC)

Michael Cudlitz
I am responding to your comment that you felt that my addition to Michael Cudlitz's biography, with regards to his character John Cooper struggling with homosexuality, did not add anything to the biography.
I respectfully disagree with you, in that he has not "come out" to his colleagues and several of them seem to want to "set him up" with assorted females. The episode last night showed him to be very upset when he was with his dying father, and the father made disparaging remarks about him. We are not privy to what he whispers to his father before he storms out of the prison hospital room, but we can only surmise that he probably told his father he was gay.
Since you are not an editor, do you have the right to remove information? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.233.8.149 (talk) 02:25, 29 March 2013 (UTC)
- The first thing I want to address is the fact that I am as much as an editor as you are. I often revert vandalism--that is, edits that are made to disrupt Wikipedia.
- However, the revert was a mistake on my part. People (I think they're usually kids) often joke about "the gays" (people they know or know of, never themselves) as a juvenile joke. That's why I reverted your edit. Sorry. --I dream of horses (T) @ 02:36, 29 March 2013 (UTC)
- Now that you know that I am not a kid inserting things I shouldn't, I shall reinsert my edit.

McDaniel Students
Sorry about messing with the McDaniel College page. I'm an involved student there and felt like there was more things to offer on campus then Football and Greeklife — Preceding unsigned comment added by Musicalfusion (talk • contribs) 01:28, 30 March 2013 (UTC)
- No, it's fine. Just be sure to make sure not use words that positively convey McDaniel College without conveying information for now on. --I dream of horses (T) @ 01:31, 30 March 2013 (UTC)
- Excellent. I most certainly will. Thanks! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Musicalfusion (talk • contribs) 19:05, 30 March 2013 (UTC)
Speedy deletion declined: Veljko Batrovic
Hello I dream of horses. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Veljko Batrovic, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Dissimilar to previous AFD as importance relates to events since that time. Thank you. ϢereSpielChequers 18:50, 30 March 2013 (UTC)
- I guess mistakes are inevitable. Thanks for telling me. --I dream of horses (T) @ 18:52, 30 March 2013 (UTC)
- In this case it was easily made, I'll restore the earlier edits that you weren't able to see. The previous deletion was in early 2012 before he had any professional appearances at top level in a national league, he now has 7 but from the same year. So fundamentally different articles one a clear delete the other not. If the AFD had said "restore when he has a top flight appearance" you might have had a chance of seeing the difference. Cheers and happy editing ϢereSpielChequers 19:02, 30 March 2013 (UTC)

Let me see if I can get this to display properly. And glad I can inspire a fellow vandal fighter. I dream of horses (T) @ 17:15, 30 March 2013 (UTC)
- Just after I posted here at 13:19 hrs GMT (we change to BST tonight) your User page popped up on my watchlist. One of your miscreants had paid you a visit, so I visited the individual's Talk, checked the contributions and reverted the revision that had been made — the one made after the one you had reverted and also restored your page. Okay?
– Gareth Griffith-Jones – The WelshBuzzard – 21:57, 30 March 2013 (UTC)- Aw, dear. Occupational hazard. I dream of horses (T) @ 01:30, 31 March 2013 (UTC)
