Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! Hey, I have seen you are interested in editing film related articles, I too like to edit such articles and may be we can collaborate on the same? I have emailed you a few sources which can be used to find info on Pakistani films. —TripWire talk 17:58, 1 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

To editor TripWire: Sorry but wikipedia do not allow editing on the behalf of other Editors Please don't mind. HIAS (talk) 04:05, 2 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
That's not what I meant. There's a different between what you understood and what I said (WP:TEAMWORK). Sorry, I couldnt find a template like this for inviting you to edit film-related articles or else there could have been less confusion.—TripWire talk 04:13, 2 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
To editor TripWire: I'm Sorry I Misunderstood Your Quotes, i would love to edit film Articles. HIAS (talk) 04:31, 2 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi HIAS, would you like to join the Indo-Pak Wikipedian Cooperation Board? It seems moribund right now but, if enough of us get together, we can revive it. - Kautilya3 (talk) 10:08, 3 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the invitation, Yes, I would LOVE to join this Group. HIAS (talk) 13:11, 3 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

    [edit]

Hello, HIAS. Voting in the 2017 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 10 December. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2017 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 3 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

    ARBIPA alert

    [edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have recently shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect: any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or any page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Information icon Hello, I'm Kautilya3. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Template:History of Kashmir seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Please obtain consensus for tag line images that go into a large number of pages.
