Hello Joe I see that you've reverted Robert Schoch's page back to its original state. I cannot seem to find the edit summary tab! I"m wondering why an Archaeologist is editing a page on a Geologist in which he has no experience of. I believe Wikipedia is information for the general public and not people's personal opinions. You can find the edit history of the article here. – Joe (talk) 07:17, 18 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

, 1 YEAR AGO →‎Claims: Removed the word "fringe." The reader can be swayed one way or another by reading the actual work. They do not need to be led to believe his work or his claims are of the "fringe" variety. Whoever wrote the article on this man clearly had an interest in demeaning his work and not reporting his studies. He is a tenured professor who bases his claims on actual work, which need not be labeled "fringe" or anything but what it actually is - work.

This Joe is an accurate example of what is being done here. It's peoples personal opinions not accurate information. I'm sorry if his work upsets you as an Archaeologist but things get revised and redated all the time. This seems like ones trying to keep a type writer in circulation and not let a computer become available. Please remove the word "fringe" as Scoch is a highly qualified academic in his field. Thank you Hellomrcrumpet62 (talk) 07:34, 18 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Schoch's work on the sphinx is fringe (and wrong). This is supported by multiple reliable sources cited in the article and in Sphinx water erosion hypothesis. – Joe (talk) 08:02, 18 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I've read through the articles. These are people's opinions! One is a link to Jason Colavitos website in which from his article and reading from the comments there is no evidence to back up his argument. Dr Schoch's findings on the sphinx is agreed amongst other geologists. It's like the time when the academic view was that the earth was flat! Please do not think that the finding means egyptology is incorrect. It is not. I know how hard people work. It's all a jigsaw thats put together. This fringe article is like an embryologist arguing with horticulturist. Hellomrcrumpet62 (talk) 08:56, 18 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Mauro Biglino without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Using "Fixed Typo" as an edit summary as you did here was deliberately deceptive and did not explain your removal of content regarding the topic's WP:FRINGE status. - LuckyLouie (talk) 21:20, 1 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I edited the wording to give a more honest post, not a bias one to ((discredit)) him. Hellomrcrumpet62 (talk) 04:09, 2 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
