File source problem with File:Shikarpur haveli.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:Shikarpur haveli.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.
If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 05:38, 28 May 2010 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Salavat (talk) 05:38, 28 May 2010 (UTC)
Thank you for the concern. Actually, the picture was supplied to me by Late Syed Abdul Mujeeb, of whom the article was created. I am not aware, if the same picture is available in any other website. Because of imminent copyright issue, I am withdrawing the picture from the article.Hashemi1971 (talk) 00:31, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Non-Resident Students' Centre
[edit]A tag has been placed on Non-Resident Students' Centre requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Hi there. You restored a portion of text in a foreign language in Hakim Syed Karam Husain. As this is the English Wikipedia, text in other languages does not contribute much if it is not translated. I am not saying that the text is not important, but how can one tell? Can you please supply a translation? --Muhandes (talk) 09:04, 13 September 2010 (UTC)
Thanks for the good suggestion. I will provide the translation once I get it. Hashemi1971 (talk) 01:54, 15 September 2010 (UTC)
- Very well. I am going to comment it out again until you do. --Muhandes (talk) 06:03, 15 September 2010 (UTC)
- Since the text is very important and hence I have provided the English translation; I hope you must now be satisfied. Thanks! Hashemi1971 (talk) 04:03, 17 September 2010 (UTC)
- The translation seems fine. I reworded the introducing text a bit to avoid redundancy, but I am still not sure the following paragraph makes perfect sense, maybe you can help me perfect it. The text says "By 'Shah Akbar', (Emperor Akbar); here the poet refers to 'God' as the 'Great Emperor'." I think this was meant to be something like: "By '<Persian Text>' (Shah Akbar), meaning both 'Emperor Akbar' and 'Great Emperor', the poet parallels God and Jalaluddin Muhammad Akbar, and asserts 'Great Emperor' to both.". Would that be an adequate description, or am I taking it too far? Could you supply the exact text in the quote meaning "Shah Akbar" in Persian? --Muhandes (talk) 10:10, 17 September 2010 (UTC)
- You are right, by (Shah Akbar), the poet means both 'Emperor Akbar' and 'Great Emperor', the poet parallels God and Jalaluddin Muhammad Akbar, and used the term 'Great Emperor' to both." Its the beauty of the poet to use one term for both. You can correct the article with this note, if you like! Hashemi1971 (talk) 06:33, 20 September 2010 (UTC)
- I'm glad I got it right, and I also saw the beauty of this. I corrected the article accordingly, thanks for the help. --Muhandes (talk) 07:00, 20 September 2010 (UTC)

File source and copyright licensing problem with File:Citation for Pride of Performance Award.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Citation for Pride of Performance Award.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, we also need to know the terms of the license that the copyright holder has published the file under, usually done by adding a licensing tag. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged files may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the file will be deleted 48 hours after 03:35, 27 September 2010 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ww2censor (talk) 03:35, 27 September 2010 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for File:Governor of Panjab honouring Dr. Mujeeb.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Governor of Panjab honouring Dr. Mujeeb.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. License tagging for File:Wellingdon Pavilion1.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Wellingdon Pavilion1.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.
For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 08:05, 1 April 2011 (UTC)
The article Advocate Nasiruddin has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- name of the person is incorrect; insufficient reliable third party sources;
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Whiteguru (talk) 22:02, 23 April 2011 (UTC)

File:Haji Mohammad Yasin.jpg needs authorship information
[edit]The media file you uploaded as File:Haji Mohammad Yasin.jpg appears to be missing information as to its authorship (and or source), or if you did provide such information, it is confusing for others trying to make use of the image.
It would be appreciated if you would consider updating the file description page, to make the authorship of the media clearer.
Although some images may not need author information in obvious cases, (such where an applicable source is provided), authorship information aids users of the image, and helps ensure that appropriate credit is given (a requirement of some licenses).
- If you created this media yourself, please consider explicitly including your user name, for which:
{{subst:usernameexpand|Hashemi1971}}
will produce an appropriate expansion,
or use the {{own}} template.
- If this is an old image, for which the authorship is unknown or impossible to determine, please indicate this on the file description page.

Speedy deletion nomination of Syed Ali Hasan
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Syed Ali Hasan requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. miszatomic 15:20, 28 May 2014 (UTC)

The file File:Faroghi.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
unused, low-res, no obvious use
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:00, 12 July 2019 (UTC)
