Google Hangouts

[edit]

Hi,

I reverted one of your edits: [1]

The reasons were:

  • In the "caption", there was the text which looks like a typo: "un
  • The link to the Verge article is still useful. The official page should also be cited, but the Verge article is useful because it's a third-party source.
  • The project was originally called "Babel". The release as "Hangouts" was a surprise.

...but I'm not an expert on Google's offerings. If I've made a mistake, please reinstate your edits and maybe give a pointer to where others can find more info. Gronky (talk) 16:11, 27 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Hasanalikhattak, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you created or edited appears to be an article about yourself. Creating an autobiography is a common mistake made by new Wikipedians—as this is an encyclopedia, we wouldn't expect to have an article about every contributor. We require individuals to meet Wikipedia's definition of a notable person to accept articles about them.

The page you created about yourself may well be deleted from the encyclopedia. If it is deleted and you wish to retrieve its contents, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page. If your contributions to an existing article about yourself are undone and you wish to add to it, please propose the changes on its talk page.

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! Hasan Ali Khattak moved to draftspace

[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to Hasan Ali Khattak. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it has no sources and it is promotional and reads like an advertisement. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Liz Read! Talk! 06:22, 10 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
