Hello, I'm Longhair. Your recent edit to the page De La Salle College Ashfield appears to have added incorrect information, so it has been removed for now. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Longhair\talk 14:51, 16 June 2018 (UTC)
Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. RonBot (talk) 17:28, 8 October 2018 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image File:Ambulance Australia.jpeg
Thanks for uploading File:Ambulance Australia.jpeg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 03:24, 21 November 2018 (UTC)
Disputed non-free use rationale for File:The Secret Life of Four Year Olds (Australian TV Series) Logo.jpg
Thank you for uploading File:The Secret Life of Four Year Olds (Australian TV Series) Logo.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.
This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:00, 1 December 2018 (UTC)

Bondi Rescue lifeguard list
Hi Happily888. As you are a major contributor to the Bondi Rescue page, I just wanted to run something by you. What do you think about cutting back the Bondi Rescue lifeguard list to only those listed here? At the moment, the list is a clunky, unsourced mess in my opinion. Perhaps we could have a "current lifeguards" list and a notable "former lifeguards" list, such as Corey Adams and Matt Burke. Thoughts? DaHuzyBru (talk) 11:28, 9 March 2019 (UTC)
Hi @DaHuzyBru: I feel that this would be a great idea but the lifeguard list on the website hasn't been updated in some time and there are a number of frequent lifeguards that should still be in the 'current lifeguards' list that aren't on the website.
In my opinion I think that we should have the notable "former lifeguards" section (which should include transfers from other countries and lifeguards who have a background in other occupations) but the "current lifeguards" section needs to be regularly updated, and not merely from that website, so I feel more sources are needed.
In the mean time, it would be great if 'less notable' lifeguards that aren't household names or update their public profile frequently anymore should be removed from the list (that is, they don't frequently appear on shows or social media). I agree that there needs to be much more organisation on the list but I am unsure of how to determine which lifeguards continue to frequent the beach as not all lifeguards frequent the show, although many of them do appear at times, and should all receive recognition. I will try to find out which lifeguards on the lists have left Bondi that may still be on the current lifeguards' list. Thanks, Happily888 (talk) 12:16, 9 March 2019 (UTC)
- Thanks for the response. I'm happy to leave it to you. For me, it's about being verifiable and supporting notability/importance, rather than who we believe "deserves" to be listed. Cheers. DaHuzyBru (talk) 13:06, 9 March 2019 (UTC)

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at The Living Room (TV series). Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively, you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. AussieLegend (✉) 07:37, 4 May 2019 (UTC)
- Contrary to your assertion in this edit summary,
the majority of other TV Show infoboxes
do not have dates as the infobox instructions clearly state that the field, quite clearly callednum_episodes
, notnum_episodes_and_date_the_field_was_last_updated
, is for "The number of episodes released." Many articles do have dates but these are commented out in order to comply with the infobox instructions. When comment tags do not exist it is primarily in Indian and Australian articles where editors seem to delight in ignoring infobox instructions. Incorrect use of fields in a few articles (there are 46,582 articles using the infobox) is not justification for ignoring instructions in other articles. --AussieLegend (✉) 07:51, 4 May 2019 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia without adequate explanation, as you did at MasterChef Australia, you may be blocked from editing. Thank you. AussieLegend (✉) 10:24, 8 May 2019 (UTC)

Episode summaries
Please do not add episode summaries before episodes have aired. They should only be added after episodes have aired and should be in your own words to avoid copyright violations. Until episodes have aired anything that you write is usually either a copyright violation or original research, neither of which is permitted. --AussieLegend (✉) 11:29, 21 July 2019 (UTC)

Infoboxes
When editing infoboxes, please ensure that you comply with the infobox instructions. For articles using {{Infobox television}}, a link to the instructions is visible when you preview your edits before saving. In this edit you inappropriately removed the comment tags and a note that had been added that directly reflects the instructions which categorically state "Only insert the date after it has happened." We all make mistakes but please, do not make them deliberately. --AussieLegend (✉) 07:26, 7 August 2019 (UTC)
Please also check edit histories before reverting earlier changes. This edit summary clearly states "rmv deprecated parameter from template" in reference to removing "|2" from {{reflist|2}}. "2" is a deprecated parameter and should not be uused which is why it was removed. It should not have been restored. Similarly, "30em" is the default so it's not necessary to include it. --AussieLegend (✉) 07:31, 7 August 2019 (UTC)
As explained above, "30em" is the default so it's not necessary to include it. When there are enough references in the article the references will automatically columnise. --AussieLegend (✉) 05:01, 8 August 2019 (UTC)

Replaceable fair use File:Dave Hughes Comedian Australia Head.png
Thanks for uploading File:Dave Hughes Comedian Australia Head.png. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the file description page and add the text
{{Di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}}
below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing<your reason>
with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable. - On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 13:35, 2 September 2019 (UTC)
Premature categories
Please do not create categories that should not exist, as you did with Category:2020 Australian television seasons. The inclusion criteria for that and similar categories is "Australian television seasons that have aired at least one episode in the year 2020." It is now 2019 and no episodes have yet aired in 2020 anywhere so the category cannot be populated until 2020. --AussieLegend (✉) 03:29, 2 November 2019 (UTC)
List of Australian television ratings for 2019 moved to draftspace
An article you recently created, List of Australian television ratings for 2019, does not have enough sources and content as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Result notes for The Amazing Race Australia 4
To whom it may concern,
I just want to let you know that I had properly rephrased the sentences for each of the ref-notes for the results in The Amazing Race Australia 4 as it has also been used in other TAR articles due to consistencies. I had previously edited said articles (and along with another similar IP address). Feel free to refer to said notes on past articles for examples and you know what I meant.
Thank you. (203.78.15.150 (talk) 10:53, 13 November 2019 (UTC))
ArbCom 2019 election voter message
Google Code-In 2019 is coming - please mentor some documentation tasks!
Hello,
Google Code-In, Google-organized contest in which the Wikimedia Foundation participates, starts in a few weeks. This contest is about taking high school students into the world of opensource. I'm sending you this message because you recently edited a documentation page at the English Wikipedia.
I would like to ask you to take part in Google Code-In as a mentor. That would mean to prepare at least one task (it can be documentation related, or something else - the other categories are Code, Design, Quality Assurance and Outreach) for the participants, and help the student to complete it. Please sign up at the contest page and send us your Google account address to google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org, so we can invite you in!
From my own experience, Google Code-In can be fun, you can make several new friends, attract new people to your wiki and make them part of your community.
If you have any questions, please let us know at google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org.
Thank you!

2020 television season categories
As should be obvious from the text in {{Year nationality television seasons category}}, the 2020 television season categories are for "television seasons that have aired at least one episode in the year 2020" (note the use of past tense!). Until such time as episodes have aired in 2020, articles should not be added to 2020 categories. Articles should not be added just because it is now 2020 as the articles do not fit the inclusion criteria. --AussieLegend (✉) 07:21, 2 January 2020 (UTC)
