Neff (talk) 15:07, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
- Hallo CN, Ebenfalls Danke für die Weihnachtsgrüße. Was heißt "bereinigen"?

The task force dedicated to creating and improving articles on all German cities and municipalities is happy to announce that there are now (at least) stub articles for all municipalities of Germany. Now the task force is looking for help in fleshing these out a little bit. The current phase of activity for the task force is to copy in infoboxes from the articles in German Wikipedia. If you want to help, even just for a few articles, look at the instructions and links here
There are now way over 26.000 articles tagged as part of our Wikiproject and many still need either an importance or a quality assessment. Also there are many more out there that do need to be tagged like approx 8000 municipalities. If you would like to help take a browse through Articles needing Importance assessment or Articles needing a basic quality assessment. |

A Link to the Past
Thanks for alerting me to the status of my website. If you were trying to visit it for some reason, it should be back up by Saturday, August 2nd. I'm curious, though... what drove to look at it in the first place? Thanks again! —Gordon P. Hemsley→✉ 07:35, 1 August 2008 (UTC)
Hans, congrats on the new article! I do have a couple of suggestions :-)
- Separate the References and Further Reading, to get a more uniform appearance in the list
- Convert refs to citation templates.
If would volunteer to make the citation templates if you like that idea. EdJohnston (talk) 12:42, 18 August 2008 (UTC)
- Hi EdJohnston, thanks for your comment. I am completely open to any improvements you may have in mind. Let's keep in contact. --Hans555 (talk) 14:15, 18 August 2008 (UTC)
I got rid of the edit that said "I love tacos by ashleys"... so how did I vandalize??? 24.193.219.183 (talk) 09:52, 14 October 2008 (UTC)
- You did not! Sorry, my mistake! Happy editing!--Hans555 (talk) 14:29, 15 October 2008 (UTC)
Hallo Hans555, Robert Ditter ist mal wieder in höchster Gefahr ! gruß Christophe Neff (talk) 18:31, 19 October 2008 (UTC)
- Hello, Christophe and Hans. I happened to see this note, and observe that Robert Ditter has been proposed for deletion. The article would be more certain to be kept if any of the cited references are actually published books, for instance the Festschrift. I could not tell when I read the article whether that is the case. If any of these books are published, then ISBNs might be added. Also, the external link to the commemorative address at www.sv-srb.de doesn't work and someone might fix that. EdJohnston (talk) 19:10, 19 October 2008 (UTC)
- ich habe mal das Tag gelöscht, aber wir müssen versuchen, den Ditter Artikel zu verbessern. gruß Christophe Neff (talk) 05:50, 20 October 2008 (UTC)
- Hi Ed and Christophe, the trouble with the Robert Ditter article is that it has been deleted from the German Wikipedia, where it belongs in the first place. A number of frustrated ex-students seem to have a particular interest in having it completely removed from Wikipedia, although the English community has accepted it. I do not know how the article can be improved. The "Festschrift" is a hard cover book without ISBN. The "D'Kräz" is a widely acknowledged annual publication with contributions to local history. There are so many less relevant articles in Wikipedia that are never questioned!! Let's keep watching. --Hans555 (talk) 08:18, 24 October 2008 (UTC)
- "D'Kräz" is possibly a notable publication, from a quick look. However, it does not seem to have an ISSN, which is one measure of recognition. If it is held by any major libraries, that would be useful information. I use http://www.worldcat.org to check library holdings in English-speaking countries. Perhaps there is some way of checking holdings by German libraries? Another way of showing that this periodical is recognized is if it publishes articles that are cited in better-known publications. For example, do historians cite its articles? EdJohnston (talk) 16:29, 25 October 2008 (UTC)
- Hello Ed, Hallo Hans555. The Kräz is to found in several libraries in Germany. You can check this under: http://www.ubka.uni-karlsruhe.de/kvk/kvk/kvk_en.html. Same for the book, were I showed you the bookcover [[1]]. This book includes one chapter about Ditter’s merit for German-French high-school exchange. But as Hans555 wrote, - its seems that some frustrated ex- students have a particular interest in having it completely removed from Wikipedia, first it was deleted in the German Wiki, where it should have its first place, then in the French Wiki where the article should also have its place (Delete discussion was intended in both wikis by the same user). And now its going on. Perphaps an ex-student of Ditter, perhaps an ex-student of mine, or a frustrated collegue of mine, - or just somebody who thinks that an headmaster should not have a place on wikipedia. Yours Christophe Neff (talk) 20:10, 25 October 2008 (UTC)
Gymnasium Schramberg
Just after creating Freidoune Sahebjam I looked at the Gymnasium Schramberg and I saw your tag and your message on the discussion page of the article. As you know I created the article as Pinus pinea sometimes ago. I hoped that someone from the school could improve the stub, - but neither teachers nor pupils did this until today. Indeed I hoped from someone from an English LK - but anyway nothing was done ! The stub is bad, - so it should be improved - or beeing put into afd. Frankly spooken I also created the stub to link it with the Robert Ditter Article. Christophe Neff (talk) 15:07, 21 November 2008 (UTC)
- concerning the alumnis - as i created the page i translated some person of the german version, like Susanne Andreae, Bernd Richter, etc. - Susanne Andreae was victim of a an afd discussion, but the article concerning my person survived a similar procedure ( a prod) . Concerning the article on my person i admited my error on the discussion page of the article - and actually the article still survives !Christophe Neff (talk) 15:16, 21 November 2008 (UTC)
- But frankly spoken - I think the article concerning our school should survive and should be improved. I think your are the person who could do that , - you have the competence - and you have all the information one needs to write an good article. yours Christophe Neff (talk) 15:21, 21 November 2008 (UTC)

My only intention was to make a wake-up call. Meanwhile I have started to translate the German article. It will go online early next month. --Hans555 (talk) 09:37, 25 November 2008 (UTC)
