A tag has been placed on Paseo del Prado and Buen Retiro, a landscape of Arts and Sciences requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

Content copied straight from UNESCO page, does not meet the WP:MOS

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, pages that meet certain criteria may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. National varieties of English

[edit]

Information icon Hello. In a recent edit, you changed one or more words or styles from one national variety of English to another. Because Wikipedia has readers from all over the world, our policy is to respect national varieties of English in Wikipedia articles.

For a subject exclusively related to the United Kingdom (for example, a famous British person), use British English. For something related to the United States in the same way, use American English. For something related to another English-speaking country, such as Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, India, or Pakistan use the variety of English used there. For an international topic, use the form of English that the original author of the article used.

In view of that, please don't change articles from one version of English to another, even if you don't normally use the version in which the article is written. Respect other people's versions of English. They, in turn, should respect yours. Other general guidelines on how Wikipedia articles are written can be found in the Manual of Style. If you have any questions about this, you can ask me on my talk page or visit the help desk. Thank you. DBaK (talk) 13:17, 12 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia.

Please review MOS:OXFORD Thank you - FlightTime (open channel) 02:26, 23 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I know how to use "Oxford" commas properly. You're just a troll who can't even use commas properly as verified by your posted biography on this website. You're blocked. H7opolo (talk) 11:56, 24 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2022 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2022 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 12 December 2022. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2022 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 01:31, 29 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, H7opolo. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Sonic Hallucinations".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been deleted. When you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Liz Read! Talk! 17:40, 1 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked

Stop icon
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abuse of editing privileges.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

Graham87 (talk) 09:33, 8 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The fact that you even *thought* to put a comma after the word "while" in this edit, while having the gall to use the word "punctuations" (which is highly non-standard English) in your edit summary, shows that this talk page post of yours is the most extreme example of projection I've ever encountered. Graham87 (talk) 09:33, 8 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

This comma addition was even worse. You are not welcome here. Graham87 (talk) 10:40, 8 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

My account should not be blocked since I did nothing in violation of Wikipedia policies. All I ever did was edit articles to have proper punctuation which is in accordance with all laws and policies. Please remove this unwarranted block commenced by a user who is harassing me. Commas are used to separate sentence fragments such as in the case to which Graham87 linked, containing the following text: "In semiconductors and insulators, the two bands are separated by a band gap while, in conductors, the bands overlap." I edited the sentence by moving the comma from before the word "while" to after the word "while", which Garaham87 disagrees with because of his inability to understand sentence fragments. Therefore, I should not be punished for correcting punctuation. I have always maintained civility and decency and committed no disruptive editing. Again, restore my account's editing ability. Thank you.H7opolo (talk) 14:36, 8 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

The only thing different about this request is that you removed the reference to harassment. Since you seem to think that your edits and other actions were correct, there are no grounds to remove the block. 331dot (talk) 15:26, 8 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
