Siye abraha article - "THE ERITREAN QUESTION: AFARS AND ASSEB"
TO Gyrofrog
"By 2001 however Ethiopia, having in effect won the war with Eritrea, had regained this all-important strip of territory. Seeye wanted, for obvious reasons, to retain it; or at least to negotiate guaranteed rights of access to the sea"
How is the above sentence correct actually it was eritrea who was militarily in a stronger position.
Furtheremore its highly offensive it dismiss the United Nations Observer Mission to Verify the Referendum in Eritrea. Eritreans had a Referendum and 99.79% voted for indepedence.
The quoted comment from the Siye abraha article is factally wrong and lacks considerations for FACTS.
Please can you delete "THE ERITREAN QUESTION: AFARS AND ASSEB" article because it questions the soverign state of eritrea this is highly offensive.

Fair use rationale for Image:PeterGabriel1980CdCover.jpg
Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:PeterGabriel1980CdCover.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Rockfang (talk) 08:12, 5 January 2008 (UTC)

Seeking Help!
I’m once again asking help from Wiki administrators in regards to the Nur Ali Elahi article. Octavian history, who recently began using this account name instead of Persian history after archiving all of the past history and information related to Persian History in a poorly veiled attempt to conceal all the different sockpuppet banners that were posted on that account, has repeatedly been disrupting and vandalizing this article while ironically accusing others of doing so.
It is clear from this user’s edits that his/her motive is not to improve or expand this article but only to disagree with other people and to undo the work of others. I’ve explained this further on the Nur Ali Elahi Discussion Page.
Global.wiki (talk) 20:49, 16 January 2008 (UTC)
Gyro, read the explanation I just wrote on the Nur Ali Elahi talk page.--Octavian history (talk) 09:36, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
Gyro my Wiki Stalker
You have a history of changing things you should not change. There is absolutely no valid citation listed for 80% of the false information the person wrote on the Nur Ali Elahi page. This will be the last warning I will give you to stop stalking me or I will make an official "Requests for arbitration" to have your admin taken away. You have a very long history of picking on me and others and making accusations that are not true.
If you look at my history, you will immediately notice that I have made over a 1000 constructive edits and created many new topics of great interest with factual citations. Global.wiki and Fhariri appear to be two fanatics who have never made any contributions to wiki except to the one article. Instead of making contributions to wikipedia, they have spent 80% of there energy making personal attacks against me and writing absolute gibberish (about me). I will not waste my time with an individual who wants to make a career out of personal attacks. The Ostad Elahi Foundation is a VERY dangerous cult and has been accused of many crimes in France.
Read this again Gyro, as to why I deleted that section.
1. He had all the spellings of the names wrong. (Amatu fixed it, thanks)
2. He had a lot of misinformation which is absolutely not true.
3. Many of the citations are incorrect, erroneous and false. For example citation number 22 is a false citation for the name Fatollah. It is out of context. Citation number 23 is also erroneous, no such info in the book. Most of the citations are false
4. A large part of it taken out of dictionary to explain the definition of Ostad and Hazrat in Persian. That is not the place to define words. Anyone can pickup a Persian dictionary.
5. Many POVs--Octavian history (talk) 12:44, 18 January 2008 (UTC)

Title change
Request for change in consensus: Change title to "Franklin Coverup Incident"
"A small group of editors can reach a consensual decision, but when the article gains wider attention, others may then disagree. The original group should not block further change on grounds that they already have made a decision. No one person, and no (limited) group of people, can unilaterally declare that community consensus has changed, or that it is fixed and determined."
The existing title is, in the opinion of many who have commented (Gyrofrog, Awfultin, Wayne, Tom1976, Conexion, Apostle 12), fatally biased. To start out saying that the subject material is a "hoax" is indefensible, especially when that point of view is hardly universal. A specially called county grand jury used the word "hoax;" that is all. And there is ample reason to believe that those who comprised the jury had a vested interest in protecting local people.

In the previous section, various editors commented on their support for, or opposition to, a name change to "Franklin Coverup Incident." Those who commented over the space of several days included Sherurcij, PopeFauveXXIII, Wayne, Orange Mike, Apostle12, and Rosicrucian.
Orange Mike came up with a suggestion: How about "Franklin Child Abuse Allegations"? Neutral, takes no position regarding "hoax" or "coverup" claims.
I support this newly proposed title change and am asking for additional comments at this time from concerned editors. Apostle12 (talk) 20:38, 31 January 2008 (UTC)
Almost giving up
Gyrofrog, thanks for weighing in with your wisdom on the Talk:Nur Ali Elahi page in the past. I'm on the verge of giving up on that article, and letting it go wherever it will. At first I was involved as a third-opinion contributor, but when I began removing peacock terms and other non-neutral phrasing, I became embroiled in a battle with an Elahi follower who can't seem to agree to incorporating more neutral language. And I don't even have an interest in the subject. Do you have any suggestions on getting more editors involved than just two people? It's a decent article, but I'm on the verge of abandoning it, and I'd rather pass the mantle on to others who have an interest. -Amatulić (talk) 19:06, 4 February 2008 (UTC)

I see you have a history of working on the article Irir Samaale. I am looking at it from the project Wikipedia:Unreferenced articles where it is one of the longest {{unreferenced}} tagged articles that does not meet at least the barest minimum of verifiability. It has been tagged and completely without references since June 2006. It would be extremely helpful if you had some references you could add to the article to help support its verifiability and notability. Thanks for any help you can give. Irir Samaale
Another editor has added the {{prod}}
template to the article Irir Samaale, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}}

What was un-attributed? That the clan lives in Ethiopia, Somalia, Yemen and Kenya even though it is provided in the page it self where it says "The majority of the Marehan live in Jubbada Hoose, Gedo and Jubbada Hoose Regions (gobolka) in southwest Somalia; the Galguduud and Mudug Regions in central Somalia; the Ogaden; and northeast Kenya."

Are you anti-Eritrean?
Everything you've edited about Eritrean issues seems to sugest this. We know your wife happens to be Ethiopian and we know how you're infatuated with Ethiopian history but why does most of your editing about Eritrean topics seems to always leave an Ethiopian twist to it? You clearly favor Ethiopia in all Eritrean/Ethiopian topics, be it war, history or common things we share so why are you even editing on every Eritrean issue that has nothing to do with Ethiopia? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.112.233.12 (talk) 16:10, 26 April 2008 (UTC)

I, personally, am not related in any way to the founder of the EWF, only as a fellow countryman;-) Sorry if that sounded like a conflict of interest yet you did well to remind me of this and I checked. I am just a student and researcher who has found additional information that should be useful, in non-partial terms. So, I think that it would be okay since most of this is just public domain and is found elsewhere in reliable sources that record the history of the organization.
