Eritrean-Ethiopian War
[edit]You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Eritrean-Ethiopian War. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content which gains a consensus among editors. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 11:05, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
- You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for violating the three-revert rule at Eritrean-Ethiopian War. Please be more careful to discuss controversial changes or seek dispute resolution rather than engaging in an edit war. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below. Gyrofrog (talk) 13:36, 2 August 2007 (UTC)-- Gyrofrog (talk) 13:36, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
- P.S. In the future, refrain from making personal attacks ([1]). -- Gyrofrog (talk)
Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to Eritrean-Ethiopian War. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 17:49, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
- This is your only warning. Your vandalism will not be tolerated, and you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia next time. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 17:54, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
- The previous version cites a verifiable source. If you can cite a source to support your assertion then please include the source in your edit. Note that verifiability is a Wikipedia policy. Your "absolute commitment" statement comes off as a threat to intentionally disrupt Wikipedia and could lead to a permanent block. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 18:01, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
- Again, if you have a problem with the existing sources, then cite a reliable source. I've already warned you about personal attacks ([2], comparisons to Goebbels etc.). -- Gyrofrog (talk) 18:54, 3 August 2007 (UTC)

At the very least, please address your concerns about the article on Talk:Eritrean-Ethiopian War and not on my talk page. Thank you. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 19:28, 3 August 2007 (UTC)

This is the only warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
If you vandalize Wikipedia again, you will be blocked from editing. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 20:42, 15 August 2007 (UTC)

January 2008
[edit]Two sections in the Siye Abraha article consisted of commentary and were copied from an external website. I've removed the material. I will leave a comment at Talk:Siye Abraha. Thanks, -- Gyrofrog (talk) 14:12, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
