Orphaned fair use image (Image:Wellard.44.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Wellard.44.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Chowbok ☠ 15:40, 20 November 2006 (UTC)

Could you possibly get a better screen shot of Bobby from today's episode? There were loads of good shots of him, especially when Ian was talking to him under the bridge! Trampikey (talk to me)(contribs) 00:48, 25 November 2006 (UTC)

How weird?!
I didn't notice that you'd uploaded Image:Civvy street Lou.jpg, and I uploaded Image:Lou karen meagher.JPG - and they're practically the same! I've got the whole of Civvy Street now - so there's new pictures on Lou Beale, Ethel Skinner, Reg Cox, Kenny Beale, Ronnie Beale and Harry Beale! Image:Lisnjss.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Lisnjss.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the image description page and edit it to add
{{Replaceable fair use disputed}}
, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template. - On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Images to be grabbed this week (if possible)
If possible, could you get images for Lydia Esteller and Jay Brown from this week's episodes? Trampikey (talk to me)(contribs) 18:21, 17 December 2006 (UTC)

- I think you should tell us how you do it so we don't have to rely on you all the time. — AnemoneProjectors (talk) 18:57, 17 December 2006 (UTC)
- I do it via my Digital video recorder. The one I have in my room connects to my pc, and I can transfer tv programmes onto it. It isnt the quickest method though. Sometimes I go to the episode descriptions [2]. They have little synopsis videos for each episodes that you can watch, and they sometimes feature the right character, so it's just a question of pausing and then taking a capture. To do this I use a programme called 'snag it' that my boyfriend put on my pc for his graphic work. It's really handy as you can select portions of the pc screen using a cursor by pressing the 'prt scr' button on the keyboard. Usually this button captures the entire screen, so it needs to be edited in another programme (to get rid of the stuff that isnt needed), but with snag it you dont have to bother. Sometimes Youtube has clips of EE videos too. Apart from this the only other possible ways of getting screen shots would be to get a card that plays live tv on your pc, or downloading the episodes from sites.Gungadin 19:20, 17 December 2006 (UTC)
- I could do it if I downloaded the episodes but I don't wanna download too many in case the Ireland ones get put on and it won't let me download them because I've already downloaded loads. With the Pat and Mo ones and Dot's Story and Civvy Street I downloaded them and used Quicktime to view them, because WMP and RealPlayer won't let you print screen - then I edit them in MSPaint. Trampikey (talk to me)(contribs) 19:43, 17 December 2006 (UTC)
- Oh and by the way, could you tell me that website your friend told you? I lost the address and I want to try and sign up and get the Ireland episodes! Trampikey (talk to me)(contribs) 19:45, 17 December 2006 (UTC)
- (2 edit conflicts!) Erm.... I'll leave you to it then ;-) — AnemoneProjectors (talk) 19:46, 17 December 2006 (UTC)
- Sure I'll email him and ask him the name of the site for you Trampikey. He was telling me the other day that they have all the soap bubbles on there, so I might join as I wanna see a few of them. You dont have to worry about ratio's on that site apparently, so it's better than UKNova in that respect. If you wanna take screenshots in realplayer or windows media player right click on your desk top and select properties, then select settings, advanced, troubleshoot - then move the hardware acceleration bar all the way down to none - click apply and ok. You should now be able to take clear captures without getting the black screen in those players, but put it back to full again once youve finished.Gungadin 20:18, 17 December 2006 (UTC)

omg talking of the clips on the EE website - have you seen the preview of Joe and Pauline? He's smashing all the pictures from the mantlepiece - he drops the pic of Mark saying "Eurgh! Diseased!", then calls 'Chelle a scrubber and Arthur an ex-con "just like me!" - then Pauline smashes a plate round his head!! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Trampikey (talk • contribs)

- Which is what we did... Trampikey (talk to me)(contribs) 22:48, 19 December 2006 (UTC)
- I think He/she's referring to EE articles, as a spoiler tag has been added to this article that I made the other day (Felix Kawalski). I didn't realise spoiler tags were applicable to EE characters whose storylines have already been aired. Are we meant to be putting them on every article now? Gungadin 22:56, 19 December 2006 (UTC)
- I don't think spoiler warnings should apply to soap operas because they're ongoing all the time, not repeated and not released on DVD. If I wanted to start watching Desperate Housewives, I'd want to start at the beginning and avoid spoilers on Wikipedia, but with EastEnders it would be a bit pointless. Reading about what happened on EastEnders in 1999 is a bit like reading about news events from 1999. I'll shut up now. — AnemoneProjectors (talk) 00:33, 20 December 2006 (UTC)

Merry Christmas!
Could you possibly look at the credits for Tuesday's (19th Dec) episode, and find out who played Tony Smith for me please? I watched the omnibus JUST to see, and it flashed on screen and off in a second - and it was a long foreign name! Thanls! Merry Christmas! Trampikey (talk to me)(contribs) 20:55, 25 December 2006 (UTC)
- Merry Christmas to you too, hope you've had a lovely day. sorry, I dont think I have that episdoe anymore. I cleared my hard drive out the other day. But will have a recheck just to make sure.Gungadin 02:25, 26 December 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks, any chance of screen captures? The articles are Tony Smith (EastEnders) and Kim Smith (EastEnders). Trampikey (talk to me)(contribs) 17:16, 26 December 2006 (UTC)
- Sure. By the way does Sirley wick's friend Dylan have an article, or Jay Brown's aunt? Beryll or bernice or something (she was at the funeral). I have images of them if you need them, and also an image of Minty's old girlfriend Emma, who used to go around in a baseball cap. also Joe wallace's dad; a man who interviews Mo about the child abuse case; and Sonia's Uni lecturer, who repremanded her for drinking earlier this year. I dont know their exact names so dont know if they've been given articles, so let me know if you think any might be needed.Gungadin 17:30, 26 December 2006 (UTC)
Pauline Fowler
I spent an hour last night cleaning up Pauline Fowler. When you made changes, it seems you undid my edits (wikilinks, spelling, grammar, etc etc etc etc). Please be a lot more careful in future. I now have to check the whole article again, which is going to take me another hour. — AnemoneProjectors (talk) 15:27, 26 December 2006 (UTC)
- i'm devastated for you, but I'll try not to lose too much sleep over it. Just go to the edit history and repaste the bits you want changed. Gungadin 16:05, 26 December 2006 (UTC)
- Just make sure when you edit articles in future that you're not editing a previous version, and don't ignore edit conflicts. — AnemoneProjectors (talk) 22:09, 26 December 2006 (UTC)
- I dont ignore edit conflicts and I would appreciate it if you stop barking orders at me like I am a naughty school girl. You may have spent an hour adding 'wikilinks' etc to that page, but I spent a lot longer sourcing and writing the vast majority of it in the first place, so it's not as if I would deliberately set out to vandalise the thing. I found your message patronising and curt, and it's not for the first time either. If I accidentally reverted your edit then i'm sorry. Everyone makes mistakes sometimes, and you of all people should know that. Please remember to assume good faith, and seeing as you are so fond of administering warnings and advice, here's some from me in return... Be polite and less patronising. You will find that people take offence a lot less.Gungadin 23:26, 26 December 2006 (UTC)
- I know you wouldn't deliberately remove my edits. I apologise for forgetting to assume good faith on this occasion. It was just frustrating knowing I'd have to make the same edits twice. I don't want to sound like I'm barking orders at you, but the "show changes" button will show you if you've accidentally reverted anything. I rarely save anything without using the "show changes" and "show preview" buttons. — AnemoneProjectors (talk) 01:24, 27 December 2006 (UTC)

RE: Marcus Duffy
I have no idea where the music teacher bit comes from... have you tried the sections on Donna and Kaff in the book Who's Who by Kate Lock (who needs an article by the way!) or the paracgraph on Donna's arrival in the 20 years book? Trampikey (talk to me)(contribs) 23:21, 29 December 2006 (UTC)
- Yeh I had a look but couldnt see anything. I found this though[3] .It says "The boy that raped Cathy appeared in Cathy's dream sequence in one of the photos. Cathy identified him as Marcus Duffy"
- apparently duffy appeared on April 10th 1998. I dont remember this dream sequence at all. Sounds like an odd plotline for EE. I'll check walford.net when it comes online again, it seems to be down at the mo.Gungadin 00:54, 30 December 2006 (UTC)

Image:Minnie Driver GWH.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Minnie Driver GWH.jpg.
{{Replaceable fair use disputed}}
, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template. - On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Created a mainspace article instead of the intended sandbox
Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia by creating the page Editing User:Gungadin/sandbox2. Your test worked, and the page that you created has been or soon will be deleted. Sandbox
No, I think you just copied and pasted the title of the page wrong - as it didn't start with the "User:" prefix, it started with "Editing", therefore was in the main article namespace, not the user namespace. It's an easy mistake to make - and I think the person who was trying to speedy delete it thought you were new and/or vandalising, and failed to see that it was a genuine mistake. -Trampikey(talk)(contribs) 17:26, 14 January 2007 (UTC)
- How bizzarre. I just clicked on my sandbox link on my user page to open the sandbox, so I dont know how it got called editing:userbox etc. Thanks for fixing it for me.Gungadin 17:30, 14 January 2007 (UTC)
- You had created the wrong link on your user page. -- RHaworth 17:38, 14 January 2007 (UTC)
- Apparently so, although it wasn't the link I originally created on my userpage a while back. When I created it, it was linked as User:Gungadin/sandbox2 and I've used that to make several pages in between without altering the name. It somehow must have got altered after I had its contents deleted earlier this month. Oh well, I will be more careful in future.Gungadin 18:06, 14 January 2007 (UTC)
- Actually, according to the deletion log, the page has been deleted three times, so it must have been incorrectly created three times also (which means nobody noticed the mistake until now). — AnemoneProjectors (talk) 20:12, 14 January 2007 (UTC)

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Tanya branning.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Tanya branning.jpg.
Thank you. ~ BigrTex 22:30, 16 January 2007 (UTC)

- Guizin looks like Caroline Aherne... — AnemoneProjectors (talk) 21:52, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
Re: Cast cards
How come you removed the cast card link on Paul Priestly? arent we allowed to link to these anymore?Gungadin 19:34, 11 February 2007 (UTC)
- I've removed all the cast cards from all the EastEnders articles because, like many videos on YouTube videos, they're copyrighted, and there's nothing on the website to say they have permission to host them - so unfortunately we can't link to them on Wikipedia (it's pretty much the same as uploading them to Wikipedia, they'd eventually be deleted). I hope that clarifies the situation. — AnemoneProjectors (talk) 19:40, 11 February 2007 (UTC)
- Oh I see, I hadnt noticed they'd been removed. That seems a bit strict. does this mean we cant use any references that also display copyrighted pictures either? Gungadin 19:51, 11 February 2007 (UTC)
- As long as they're reliable sources (which I'm sure they all are), then there's no need to remove any references. — AnemoneProjectors (talk) 19:58, 11 February 2007 (UTC)

Anna Price
Could you get a screenshot of Anna Price from the 15-2-07 episode, please? -Trampikey(talk)(contribs) 20:30, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
Re: Help with free license pics
Hey can you help me with something as I'm not too sure how to go about this. A photographer from Flickr has allowed me to use some of his pics on Wiki under a free license. He just said let me know when it's done. So can I just uplaod them now and link to the original @ Flickr on the image page?
Gungadin 16:23, 24 February 2007 (UTC)
- Sure, I did the same with Image:Leona Lewis2.jpg - just do what I did there! — AnemoneProjectors (talk) 16:42, 24 February 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks. I thought I'd remembered reading you'd done it before that's why I asked. So do I just save the image to my pc and upload it that way, like with a screenshot, or do I need to export it from Flickr? Gungadin 16:49, 24 February 2007 (UTC)
- Just save it as you normally would. I don't know of any other way. — AnemoneProjectors (talk) 16:55, 24 February 2007 (UTC)
- Great, thanks for your help. Gungadin 16:56, 24 February 2007 (UTC)
- Hey I uploaded some of the free images on page Nikki Grahame, but the author wants to know if there is any way they can be licensed to just that page and not for anyone else who wants to copy them. Is this possible? Gungadin 18:20, 24 February 2007 (UTC)
- If an image is licenced for use solely on Wikipedia then it's actually an invalid licence and the image will be speedy deleted. I'm not entirely sure of the reasons, it's a fairly new thing. — AnemoneProjectors (talk) 18:45, 24 February 2007 (UTC)
- Oh I see, he mentioned a creative commons tag, but I dont really understand the tags for this license and which could be used. I will ask JPS, or do you know anyone else I can ask? Gungadin 18:49, 24 February 2007 (UTC)
- I'm not sure about creative commons, JPS might know, I can't think of anybody else. — AnemoneProjectors (talk) 18:51, 24 February 2007 (UTC)
Barnstar
Television Barnstar | ||
I would like to award you this television barnstar for your hard work on EastEnders-related articles. -Trampikey(talk)(contribs) 19:02, 26 February 2007 (UTC) |
Could you find out who played the social worker in the 1 March episode? I am downloading the episode on BitTorrent but it currently says it will take a day and four hours, so if possible, could you get an image, too? Thanks -Trampikey(talk)(contribs) 22:31, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry I dont have last weeks episodes anymore. Have you tried that website I told you about the other month. You'll be able to download it straight away from their server. It only takes 5 minutes on that site for the whole episode.Gungadin 22:59, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
- Which one? Was it EastEnders Worldwide? -Trampikey(talk)(contribs) 23:07, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
- Yeh that's the one I think.Gungadin 23:15, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
- It wouldn't let me sign up because I'm in the UK. -Trampikey(talk)(contribs) 23:22, 4 March 2007 (UTC)

- Which one? Was it EastEnders Worldwide? -Trampikey(talk)(contribs) 23:07, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
- OMG what a stupid rule. They didnt ask me about that and I got an account. Try signing up from a .com email address rather than a .co.uk one. I havent been on there in ages, perhaps theyve cancelled me too. I hope not though, cos it's quite handy for getting older episodes.Gungadin 23:36, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
- It wasn't my email address, it was my IP address, an English one. Worldwide my arse. Lol, if you ever go on there again and are able to get the Irish episodes (1997, 22-25 Sep) I will marry you and love you forever. Fact. -Trampikey(talk)(contribs) 23:53, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
- I'll have to buy a new hat... — AnemoneProjectors (talk) 00:31, 5 March 2007 (UTC)
- Lol, well I'm already typing out my Selfridges wedding list. I've got my eye on a fabulous prada handbag (hint hint) ;o)Gungadin 00:44, 5 March 2007 (UTC)
hehe, ok. I thought they'd blocked me, but I had just forgotten the password and I appear to still have an active account. They dont have the Irish ones in their list, just all the documentaries, recent episodes and soap bubbles by the looks of it. I will keep an eye out for them though. By the way, I noticed a while back on UKNOVA that one of the uploaders has every episode from the late 90s onwards and takes requests. Have a look for him, because he might have the episodes u r after. Perhaps youve tried it, but there is also a request page for EE in the forums. It might be worth asking for the episodes there.Gungadin 00:29, 5 March 2007 (UTC)
- I've tried it all, with no avail. I would literally cry with happiness if I saw those episodes. I managed to get the Derek Evans picture and actor... the BitTorrent download got really quick! -Trampikey(talk)(contribs) 00:53, 5 March 2007 (UTC)
- I dont even remember seeing that guy at all. I'm watching very sporadically at the moment. Bittorrent gets faster once more people are seeding it so its sometimes better to wait for a few hours before downloading. I use Utorrent, its much better than bittorrent imo as it doesnt slow down the pc while ur surfing. Making your PC 'connectable' is another way to make torrents download quicker. Dont ask me how you do that though, I got my friend to do it for me, you have to change settings and make your ip stand still.Gungadin 01:03, 5 March 2007 (UTC)
- None of that makes sense to me, lol. Oh well, I have done a fresh batch of requests on UKNova, any other ideas on where I could look? -Trampikey(talk)(contribs) 01:04, 5 March 2007 (UTC)
- No sorry, but I noticed on UKNOVA that some 1997 (feb and March) were being posted, so it is probably just a matter of time before they do the Ireland ones. I often wonder where these people get the episodes from and why they bothered saving them in the first place, although its handy that they do.Gungadin 01:16, 5 March 2007 (UTC)
- I suppose so, I'm an impatient person, though! I swear I'll be ecstatic if I ever get them, though! -Trampikey(talk)(contribs) 01:25, 5 March 2007 (UTC)
- I've found someone who has the episodes! All they have to do now is put them on UKNova!! I'm so happy! -Trampikey(talk)(contribs) 13:27, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
- That's good news :) Gungadin 14:27, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
- It's going to take a couple of weeks though :( -Trampikey(talk)(contribs) 14:44, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
Question
Do you know who was born first, Peter or Lucy? -Trampikey(talk)(contribs) 23:49, 5 March 2007 (UTC)
- No sorry, I dont know that one.Gungadin 00:18, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
Please, please, please!
Please find a way to include the "Mitchells Home Truths" video in your rewrite of the Phil Mitchell article! I have a great pic I can put on the article, lol! -Trampikey(talk)(contribs) 20:24, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
- What's the Mitchell's home truths? Is that when they do the naked dance to kung fu fighting? lol If it is cant that be included in the popular culture section. Or maybe we can put it in the popularity section, saying that the characters popularity led to their own spin off video etc. with footgae that was never aired on television Gungadin 20:45, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
- Well, here's the picture I want to include! Yes, it is the kung fu fighting one! Image:Stevemcfaddenrosskemppeggyhometruths.JPG -Trampikey(talk)(contribs) 21:00, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
- HAHAHA, that has to be included. The one on the right has the nicer butt. Which one is that? Gungadin 21:05, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
- Left is Grant, right (I can't believe you didn't guess with the beetroot buttcheeks!) is Phil. -Trampikey(talk)(contribs) 21:27, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
- LOL at beetroot buttcheeks. I cant believe I'm admitting that I think Phil has a nice bum.Gungadin 21:40, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
- Especially since Grant is more attracive overall anyway! -Trampikey(talk)(contribs) 21:45, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
- Yeh, I used to fancy Grant (to my shame), but at least now I know how Phil manages to pull all these women. It's his peachy bum! lol Gungadin 21:56, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
- LOL eww. I wonder who's had more? Grant or Phil? I'm gonna have to investigate...

- Utter filth! And as you can see from my additions, phil is now the winner ;-) — AnemoneProjectors (talk) 00:01, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
- Lol, I confess to it, but I only seduced him so I could pinch his peachy bum. We woulda been an item if that whore Nana hadnt flaunted her sagging boobs in his direction. She didnt really die of dementia, I put arsenic in her bovril out of jealousy. Gungadin 00:33, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
- Nah mate, Grant all the way! -Trampikey(talk)(contribs) 18:52, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
- Me too!! I'm not saying who's bigger tho.Gungadin 18:59, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
- I bet it's Grant, Phil would be all wrinkly! -Trampikey(talk)(contribs) 19:05, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
- But Phil has a big shiny beetroot head in more ways than one. lol (so vulgar i know)Gungadin 19:12, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
- EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW! (WPEE really needs a forum!) — AnemoneProjectors (talk) 23:49, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
- Neither. Wikipedia isn't a forum. It's just a shame is all. — AnemoneProjectors (talk) 12:39, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for providing the last appearance date! How do you know them all? You seemed to be able to find out pretty quickly! -Trampikey(talk)(contribs) 19:58, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
- I got it from Walford.net. If you type a character name into the bottom search bar it gives first and last appearances for a lot of the early characters (1985 to 1990 I think). Gungadin 20:22, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
- Aah, I forgot he was from before 1991... I was digging around in the episode archives. How stupid of me! Anyway, I meant to leave you a message to tell you; your contibs make me smile :) you truly are the queen of WPEE! -Trampikey(talk)(contribs) 20:32, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
- Ahhh thankyou, what a nice thing to say. I've always thought I should have been born into royalty and at least now I can say i'm queen of something. lol Gungadin 20:43, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
