Never got off the ground
So it would be appreciated if you reverted your edits there, if you are prepared to have it explained... But then, it depends whether you are into discussions - thanks if you do, it would be appreciated... JarrahTree 01:13, 1 June 2022 (UTC)

Please consider giving a second chance
Hi there, I noticed a lot of the great edits made by https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Marsharbt and was disappointed to learn he had been banned for sockpuppetry. Considering he was banned 5 years ago, which is a lot of time for self reflection and for him to understand the importance of honestly in the community, would you be able to give the dude a second chance?
It's clear how badly he wants to contribute considering how he keeps coming back. As a Palestinian Christian https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Jobas#December_2017, he brings forward the perspective of an underrepresented minority. Please consider how unblocking him would maximize for the area under the curve of article quality. 136.25.121.198 (talk) 01:20, 3 June 2022 (UTC)
Report
@Guerillero: Hi, recently I notice that two mobile accounts do the same edits that the User:Whitesin21 have done in those two mounths writing in the edit summery the same things and the same reasons for the edit. Additionally, one of the mobile accounts entered Whitesin21's talk page claiming to be the culprit. The strange thing then is how this user got to know about the conversation between me and Whitesin21 since we discussed on the Whitesin21 talk page. Also this user has claimed to have been making edits on the wiki for months, although from his contributions I have noticed that this account has existed since June 3rd (similar to the other mobile account that has existed since June 1st). Both of these mobile accounts do the same edits and write the same arguments in the edit summery. You can check this into List of ongoing armed conflicts: Revision history. For example:
- like I said, gang violence isn't a conflict, 4 june, this is written by User:Whitesin21, he also said that terrorism isn't a conflict and that corsican conflict isn't still active in other edits
- terrorism isnt armed conflict gang violence isnt included corsia conflict is not active, 4 june, written by User:31.210.37.65
- İm not secondary account, im on that page for months, (not doing any edits unless vandalism)(and i didnt had an account on that time) also i once reverted whitesins edits, and none of us touched your good edits and that ip account is me forgot to log in :\, today this account in the talk page of Whitesin21 said this, but its impossible to him to know about this conversation, me and Whitesin21 didn't talk about him nor did we mention him by giving him the notification, so how is possible that he know about this conversation?
Another thing is that this user said he do edits on wiki for mounths, but I see in his contrubionts that this account is born on 3 june, two days ago.
Can you do a SPI?
Ah, now User:Peanut funi xd unswear writing this:
İm the ip adress yep İts illegal but i forgot to log in İ know this by checking talk page İ check talk page to see if issue over İ delet klauske edit thinking it was you İ say same stuff with whitesin becuz 2 ppl can hav same opinion İ made account oň 3 june, i was ip user before, so he confessed that this user have another account, but without unswear the question how he know about the conversation between me and Whitesin21.

- Hi, MorteBiancaFan. I'm filling in for Guerillero today, as he's unavailable. My name is historically descended from his name, so y'know, just squint and it's like I'm him.For a few reasons, I don't think that Whitesin and Peanut are the same person. Peanut is in Turkey, while Whitesin is interested in neighboring Greece but not in Turkey, and edits at times that would be a bit late in the day for either of those countries (although not impossible)... So either living in Greece but on a late schedule, or a Greek expat living a few timezones west, or someone in such a timezone who just happens to be interested in Greek football, but in my judgment unlikely to be a Turk. Furthermore, the two have noticeably different writing styles. However, if you would like to file an SPI, you're welcome to. The instructions are right there at WP:SPI; I'd also recommend reading User:Blablubbs/How to file a good SPI. The most important thing is lots of diffs, no vague allegations.By the way, put two linebreaks, not one, in between paragraphs for them to show up the right way when parsed. I've done that for you here; hope you don't mind.Now, as to the content dispute: This is an edit war that has been going for some time now. That is unacceptable, regardless of who's right. I'll drop a note on the article's talk page making that clear. I'll also have a word with Peanut about logged-out editing. -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (she/they) 22:16, 5 June 2022 (UTC)

Review user TimesAreAchanging
I saw that this user had a hand in getting another another editor blocked. However upon looking at his own history he was blocked indefinitely no less than twice from political pages which he has a history of pushing agendas. In fact his second block was because he was using sock puppetry as a way to evade the ban. Somehow he found a loophole around this by appealing to a sympathetic admin in a private email who then quietly ignored his two serious bans. As you know, indefinite permanent bans are no small thing. I mentioned all this because it’s obvious he’s returned to a pattern of WP:BAITING certain users and then weaponizing Wikipedia with rules lawyering so he can engage in a slow motion WP:GAMING violation. I would put together or more formal WP:ANI on this but I’m out and about as it is and I can’t even get into my account until I get home. Also this editor is simply exhausting to deal with from what I can gather here. Kind of cursory examination of his edit history shows that he’s resumed this pattern of stalking and targeting certain users based upon the agenda. Obviously there was a reason he was being twice indefinitely in the first place. Seeing as you were recently involved in a dispute with him, arbitrating it on some level, I was hoping to look into this. You know more about Wikipedia than I do and perhaps have more time to look into this serious matter, thank you 50.208.24.165 (talk) 15:15, 8 June 2022 (UTC)
Saint Vincent Beer scheduled for TFA
This is to let you know that the Saint Vincent Beer article has been scheduled as today's featured article for July 6, 2022. Please check the article needs no amendments. If you're interested in editing the main page text, you're welcome to do so at Wikipedia:Today's featured article/July 6, 2022, but note that a coordinator will trim the lead to around 1000 characters anyway, so you aren't obliged to do so.
For Featured Articles promoted recently, there will be an existing blurb linked from the FAC talk page, which is likely to be transferred to the TFA page by a coordinator at some point.
We suggest that you watchlist Wikipedia:Main Page/Errors from the day before this appears on Main Page. Thanks! Jimfbleak - talk to me? 14:11, 8 June 2022 (UTC)
- @Jimfbleak: Can we hold off on this? I am talking with an archivist about potentially releasing a photo of the brewery --- Guerillero Parlez Moi 17:39, 12 June 2022 (UTC)
- No problem, I've had an additional request for July, so I'll slot that in instead. Jimfbleak - talk to me? 18:27, 12 June 2022 (UTC)

DYK for Just Got Back From the Discomfort—We're Alright
On 20 June 2022, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Just Got Back From the Discomfort—We're Alright, which you recently nominated. The fact was ... that the emo-revival album Just Got Back From the Discomfort—We're Alright contains samples from Malcolm in the Middle on three of its songs? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Just Got Back From the Discomfort—We're Alright. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Just Got Back From the Discomfort—We're Alright), and if they received a combined total of at least 416.7 views per hour (i.e., 5,000 views in 12 hours or 10,000 in 24), the hook may be added to the statistics page. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

I restored the article Four Rivers Conference (Missouri), which was only soft deleted, after a request at WP:REFUND. Is there a particular reason why you re-deleted it? —C.Fred (talk) 14:38, 20 June 2022 (UTC)
- @C.Fred: I thought it was not deleted in error when looking through AfD since less than 12 hours had passed by since closure. My apologies. -- Guerillero Parlez Moi 14:48, 20 June 2022 (UTC)
NPR Rights
Hi @Guerillero, hope you are doing well. My NPR trial rights have ended. However, I want to keep on contributing to Wikipedia by patrolling and reviewing new pages. Hence, could you please grant me the NPR rights? Thanks Tatupiplu'talk 17:08, 19 June 2022 (UTC)
"The Best Sex Ever" zombie
Greetings, Guerillero. The page "The Best Sex Ever" has somehow resurfaced as a redirect despite the decision in this AfD to Delete and not to Redirect. Take care. -The Gnome (talk) 10:22, 21 June 2022 (UTC)

Mollydooker Wines: recreate in my user space?
Hi Guerillero, you recently closed an AfD discussion on Mollydooker Wines. An editor (Valereee) suggested I contact an admin to ask if you might be able to recreate it in my user space to allow me to work on it and find better sources? I'm not sure what that involves or how difficult it may be for you, but I hope it's not overly onerous! Thanks very much. Cabrils (talk) 02:35, 23 June 2022 (UTC)
New Page Patrol newsletter June 2022
Hello Guerillero/Archives/2022,
- Backlog status
At the time of the last newsletter (No.27, May 2022), the backlog was approaching 16,000, having shot up rapidly from 6,000 over the prior two months. The attention the newsletter brought to the backlog sparked a flurry of activity. There was new discussion on process improvements, efforts to invite new editors to participate in NPP increased and more editors requested the NPP user right so they could help, and most importantly, the number of reviews picked up and the backlog decreased, dipping below 14,000[a] at the end of May.
Since then, the news has not been so good. The backlog is basically flat, hovering around 14,200. I wish I could report the number of reviews done and the number of new articles added to the queue. But the available statistics we have are woefully inadequate. The only real number we have is the net queue size.[b]
In the last 30 days, the top 100 reviewers have all made more than 16 patrols (up from 8 last month), and about 70 have averaged one review a day (up from 50 last month).
While there are more people doing more reviews, many of the ~730 with the NPP right are doing little. Most of the reviews are being done by the top 50 or 100 reviewers. They need your help. We appreciate every review done, but please aim to do one a day (on average, or 30 a month).
- Backlog drive
A backlog reduction drive, coordinated by buidhe and Zippybonzo, will be held from July 1 to July 31. Sign up here. Barnstars will be awarded.
- TIP – New school articles
Many new articles on schools are being created by new users in developing and/or non-English-speaking countries. The authors are probably not even aware of Wikipedia's projects and policy pages. WP:WPSCH/AG has some excellent advice and resources specifically written for these users. Reviewers could consider providing such first-time article creators with a link to it while also mentioning that not all schools pass the GNG and that elementary schools are almost certainly not notable.
- Misc
There is a new template available, {{NPP backlog}}
, to show the current backlog. You can place it on your user or talk page as a reminder:
Very high unreviewed pages backlog: 13160 articles, as of 22:00, 21 November 2024 (UTC), according to DatBot
There has been significant discussion at WP:VPP recently on NPP-related matters (Draftification, Deletion, Notability, Verifiability, Burden). Proposals that would somewhat ease the burden on NPP aren't gaining much traction, although there are suggestions that the role of NPP be fundamentally changed to focus only on major CSD-type issues.
- Reminders
- Consider staying informed on project issues by putting the project discussion page on your watchlist.
- If you have noticed a user with a good understanding of Wikipedia notability and deletion, suggest they help the effort by placing
{{subst:NPR invite}}
on their talk page. - If you are no longer very active on Wikipedia or you no longer wish to be part of the New Page Reviewer user group, please consider asking any admin to remove you from the list. This will enable NPP to have a better overview of its performance and what improvements need to be made to the process and its software.
- To opt-out of future mailings, please remove yourself here.

MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 10:02, 24 June 2022 (UTC)
The article The Best Sex Ever has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
The article "The Best Sex Ever" was deleted according to this AfD outcome. The decision went on to make clear the following about the outcome: "The case was not made that a Redirect is within policy or desirable due to how common the phrase is." The creation of this Redirect runs directly against the decision.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. -The Gnome (talk) 17:19, 24 June 2022 (UTC)
Sockstrike
@Guerillero a sock had disrupted the AfD and I have marked it, for future reference. I have been needlessly reverted, I am not sure what is the policy on socks on afd. Since you had closed it, Can you allow the sock tag per WP:SOCKSTRIKE . Venkat TL (talk) 11:23, 28 June 2022 (UTC)
- Hi Venkat TL. We only strike comments by socks in open discussions -- Guerillero Parlez Moi 12:25, 28 June 2022 (UTC)
- Ok. Do you recall any consensus discussion for the same that I can refer? Venkat TL (talk) 12:28, 28 June 2022 (UTC)
- From the linked essay: "When deciding how to clean up after a sock, ask yourself: "What is the cleanest and least disruptive way of dealing with each edit?", and use that as your guide." We strike socks so that admins do no weigh their input when determining consensus. That is no longer relevant after the discussion has been closed. Look at my RfA. Alessandra Napolitano and RFA Guy were socks, but they were never struck. -- Guerillero Parlez Moi 12:35, 28 June 2022 (UTC)
- Thank you. I had also raised the same question at the essay talk. Venkat TL (talk) 13:37, 28 June 2022 (UTC)
