Biographies of Living People on Wikipedia
[edit]Even though I have done a fair bit of work on Wikipedia over the last few years, I am still coming to terms with the rules of the game. They are particularly manic about people articles. I guess they have to guard against every man and his dog writing an article about his good self. So officially, you have been deleted. For the time being, I asked the Wikipedia thought police to park the work I had done in my "sandbox".
They have notability guidelines and they need reliable secondary sources. If you can help with particularly news-worthy items, please let me know – as you know I am really keen to do the work, but you and others should feel welcome to update the sandbox version, and once we are more confident that we comply with their guidelines, we can have another crack at publishing the article.
