Article "Ilaria Brocchini"
Dear Goldsztajn Thank you for your indications concernig the article I wrote on the french philosopher Ilaria Brocchini. I am sorry for my mistakes. Wikipedia-EN has different standards than Wikipedia-DE. There are debates on Brocchini's work and they are mentionned in the article. Those debates are in the form of books and articles (also mentionned). The german article seems to be a problem more than a good reason to make an english one. I will read the guidelines. If you can give me an concret exemple of what is wrong in the article I would appreciate it. Thank you again for your assistance Mirabiliamira (talk) 15:06, 31 August 2021 (UTC)
Goldsztajn, it's been a full month since you last added to your review, and on September 1 it will have been six months since you opened it. Do you think you can conclude the review by the six-months mark? If not, perhaps you should consider withdrawing, since you seem to be busy with other things. Thank you. - Hi BlueMoonset, thanks for the gentle nudge. I'll be adding more to the review before the end of the month. Regards, Goldsztajn (talk) 21:32, 28 August 2021 (UTC)
- Please consider this another nudge. I'll look for more progress in the next week, and completion shortly thereafter. BlueMoonset (talk) 05:19, 9 October 2021 (UTC)
Draft Ilaria Brocchini
Dear Goldsztajn
thank you for your kind message. I have just seen it. Since your refusal I have added serveral sources and showed that Brocchini has been part of the maison des sciences de l'homme in France.
The new draft has been refused again. Can you do something for publishing it ?
I honestly think that the secondary sources and her work at maison the sciences de l'homme make her work notable. It is notable even for the german wikipedia in spite of being a french philosopher. Thank you very much for your kind help --Mirabiliamira (talk) 12:33, 22 October 2021 (UTC)
- Hi @Mirabiliamira: I wish I could do more, but if there is no evidence to support the criteria for notability on English wikipedia, there is nothing I can do. As far as I can see Brocchini has participated in a single event at the MSH (Paris Nord), she is not employed by the institution (although employment at an institute in itself is not notable), holds no title within a higher education institution, is not a fellow of an academic society, has not received a major prize, has not been shown to have made lasting contributions to scholarship on Benjamin as independently recognised by others. I might be wrong on these points ... but I don't see sources showing evidence of these things. If there are sources which address these kinds of questions then this will demonstrate her notability. I hope this helps, regards --Goldsztajn (talk) 02:49, 24 October 2021 (UTC)
Hi Goldsztajn: Thank you very much for your helpfull and kind feedback.
Brocchini holds a doctor title from the Sorbonne and regularly collaborates with MSH Paris Nord.
As you say she is not a fellow of an academic society, has not received a major prize.
Nevertheless her writings have a larger spectrum than the philosophy of Benjamin. Her five books are are appreciated and recognised by Déotte and other philosophers.
She is not a professor. Her career is similar to Benjamin's one. This is problably a reason why the german Wikipedia easily accepted the article. Kind Regards--Mirabiliamira (talk) 18:36, 25 October 2021 (UTC)
