That statement is more appropriate for your user page, not an article/draft page. If you are creating an article about the subject, do write up on the subject in your own sandbox, or in the Draft space, i.e. Draft:Ilaria Brocchini. The informations come from her own writings and from the writings ON HER philosophy. The references are explicitely mentionned. Look forward to your competent opinion ! Dear Goldsztajn, Thank you for your indications. Wikipedia-EN has different standards than Wikipedia-DE. There are debates on Brocchini's work and they are mentionned in the article. Those debates are in the form of books and articles (also mentionned). The german article seems to be a problem more than a good reason to make an english one. I will read the guidelines. Dear Mirabiliamira, in order for there to be an article in Wikipedia English for Ilaria Brocchini it's necessary to show that she satisfies one of the criteria in WP:NACADEMIC. If she cannot pass one of those, then the only alternative is showing that she passes WP:GNG. I expect focussing on the criteria in WP:NACADEMIC will be best. The works of all academics are generally discussed and mentioned, this in itself is not enough to justify an article. It is the extent of the discussion which is important. Are there any prizes that her books have received? Does she hold a professorship? (I cannot find an academic institution where she works). Is she a fellow of a recognised academy (eg the Association suisse de Sémiotique et de Théorie de la Culture/Schweizerische Gesellschaft für Kulturtheorie und Semiotik)?
