Request for your help with an image you added
Gobonobo,
Thank you very much for adding this image File:The Truth According to Wikipedia.jpg with fair use rationale {{Film cover fur}}.
Your image rationale is now being questioned, at Talk:The_Truth_According_to_Wikipedia#Infobox_image.
Summary: (1) You did not provide a source in the form of a specific hyperlink to the image, and (2) the user disputes that the rationale {{Film cover fur}} is an acceptable rationale, as they don't think for some strange and odd reason that documentary that aired first as a film screening and only second (2nd) time on television should be considered a "film".
This seems to be quite a particular complaint from the user that is most troublesome and I'm not sure why they cannot understand that documentaries are indeed "films".
Your comments would be appreciated, as you were the original uploader of the image, and the one that added {{Film cover fur}} to the image page, both of which I agree with.
Thank you for your time,
— Cirt (talk) 23:01, 2 November 2015 (UTC)
Please help at Talk:The Truth According to Wikipedia
Please, help, at Talk:The Truth According to Wikipedia.
I've worked quite hard on this article to put in a large amount of effort to improve the article's quality.
The complaints by Editør are seemingly un-ending, ceaseless, and often not backed up to any sources, the user "presumes" to know things, and revisits old issues that were since resolved amicably between both parties, only to attempt to complain about them again.
The user seems to think that a documentary is not a form of a "film".
Please, I ask of you, to help bring some semblance of logic to the discussion.
Thank you,
— Cirt (talk) 00:30, 3 November 2015 (UTC)

Replaceable fair use File:Leonor Michaelis.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:Leonor Michaelis.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the file description page and add the text
{{di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}}
below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing<your reason>
with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable. - On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 21:06, 15 November 2015 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. License tagging for File:Toni Carabillo late 1972.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:Toni Carabillo late 1972.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.
To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Speedy deletion nomination of File:Kenjiro Takayanagi.jpg
A tag has been placed on File:Kenjiro Takayanagi.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a non-free file with a clearly invalid licensing tag; or it otherwise fails some part of the non-free content criteria. If you can find a valid tag that expresses why the file can be used under the fair use guidelines, please replace the current tag with that tag. If no such tag exists, please add the {{Non-free fair use}} tag, along with a brief explanation of why this constitutes fair use of the file. If the file has been deleted, you can re-upload it, but please ensure you place the correct tag on it.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. FYI on my current edits on WHoFame lists
Because you've made considerable contributions to the women's halls of fame, I want to give you some insight on what I'm doing and why. As noted as WP Women thread, these helpful lists are sometimes too large for a number of reasons. Plus, since we got involved with these, I've learned a few formatting techniques from various reviews I've been involved with. The references column in particular has a two-fold advantage. It's a preferred format at FLC, and it also serves as a quick visual on whether or not any entry needs a source. Personally, I think if you say where the names came from, it's sourced. But tagging would indicate a difference of opinion on that. So, as I go along, I'm also inserting additional sourcing if I can find it. Just thought you might like to be informed. — Maile (talk) 15:44, 30 January 2016 (UTC)

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Mesaba Co-op Park, and it appears to include material copied directly from https://www.minnpost.com/mnopedia/2016/01/banned-public-accommodations-across-iron-range-20s-finns-opened-their-own-160-acre-.
It is possible that the bot was mistaken and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.
