Welcome!

Hello, Glorioussandwich, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions, especially what you did for National Register of Historic Places listings in Grand Forks County, North Dakota. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you're interested in helping with more National Register articles, you might find this page helpful. Operated by WP:NRHP member Elkman, it generates the infobox that you put on articles such as Billings County Courthouse, so you'll not need to dig up all the information yourself. Plant categories

[edit]

I note that you are adding US states to plant categories. I am not sure if categorising to that level is recommended. Also, note that if a plant is already listed in a category as being in the US or North America its should not be in listed in a state of the US. -- Alan Liefting (talk) - 00:35, 5 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Impressive

[edit]

I was so pleased about the new article you created: Agrimonia gryposepala that I nominated it for a "Did you know?". Minimac (talk) 08:55, 13 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Neat! Thanks, it's nice to know people are looking.Glorioussandwich (talk) 15:42, 13 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, I saw that someone has submitted your article for submission at Did you know. Unfortunately, it is currently at 700 characters of prose (text not including citations, info boxes, templates, headers, etc.) where a minimum of 1500 would be needed to have the hook appear on the main page. Would it be possible to expand the article further in the next couple of days. If not it is OK, but if possible I would like to give you the opportunity. Kindly Calmer Waters 05:02, 23 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I took the liberty of making this very nice article a little longer. I also adjusted the files in Wikimedia Commons to go into an "Agrimonia gryposepala" subcategory of "Agrimonia", which could then be linked from the article using {{Commons category|Agrimonia gryposepala}}: -- Radagast3 (talk) 07:23, 26 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Nice work noting this, but I made a change here. Adding the botanist abbrev. has a pretty solid consensus, and its convenient, but 'me no like'. No-one has objected to the few I've altered, thought I should let you know what was going on. Regards, cygnis insignis 09:38, 26 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

DYK for Agrimonia gryposepala

[edit]
Updated DYK query On March 28, 2010, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Agrimonia gryposepala, which you created or substantially expanded. You are welcome to check how many hits your article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check ) and add it to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page.

Thomas D. Campbell House: nice Gothic house, nice pic!

Hi Glorioussandwich. I'm admiring your nice work of photos and writing in Thomas D. Campbell House and other NRHP-listed places of National Register of Historic Places listings in Grand Forks County, North Dakota. I'm working on a drive to start & improve articles for that list, would be very happy to have your involvement again now. See Talk:National Register of Historic Places listings in Grand Forks County, North Dakota. Either way, i like your work! Cheers, --doncram (talk) 14:59, 20 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! Thanks for the complements, I was actually thinking it was about time to write some new NHRP articles. I plan on getting pictures of the last few locations scattered out in the country as soon as the weather improves. Glorioussandwich (talk) 18:22, 25 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Great! But for ND, brrr..., does that mean waiting until summer? :)
As you could currently see in this report of recent changes on Grand Forks County NRHP articles, there's been a fair amount of development of starter articles. Please feel free to improve those, or to start new ones using the /drafts yourself. Cheers. --doncram (talk) 20:11, 26 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
P.S. I would be grateful if u could try using the Talk:National Register of Historic Places listings in Grand Forks County, North Dakota/drafts available to start any new articles. These drafts are from an NRHP batch-of-articles-generator program i am developing, and i would love to get any feedback on how easy it is to use its output, or not. Lemme know if u have any questions or comments. --doncram (talk) 20:15, 26 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. When you recently edited USS Webster (ARV-2), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Tidewater (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). ArbCom 2023 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:32, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
