You sure you know what you're doing? All the moving you're doing is creating a lot of double redirects. I hope you're going to fix them all. Also, you might want to note you entirely removed creatures from the Harry Potter template. By the way, is the Harry Potter WikiProject aware of your actions? You may wish to alert them. GlassCobra21:04, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
Hi there. I am actually fixing all the redirects I did. You can check some of them by trying these links:
About the removing of the creatures, I did it because of the guide of Notability. You can check a previous version of it to note that all those creatures I merged and redirected into the Beasts article, were Harry Potter articles agreed to be removed. It was the same with the Hogwarts teachers (Umbridge, Moody, Quirrell, etc.) that were merged. The idea is just keeping very few (notable) lists and solo articles. Say it ain't so! How are we supposed to find out the winner of Tarmon Gai'don now? Sigh. Were you a fan of the books as well? GlassCobra05:47, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
A friend of mine was, and let me know about his passing. I was familiar with him, but never had read his work. Kind of 'good' though in that it seems all parties were aware of his health and that the 12th of 12 Wheel of Time books has enough to be completed one way or another. For working very hard, and still finding the time to learn at an impressive rate, you deserve so more than just a little star, dear GlassCobra - but fitting the whole starry sky in this little box is a little difficult, so this will have to do for now! :) Keep it up, my friend! Love, Phaedriel22:55, 18 September 2007 (UTC)
Thank you very much for the barnstar, Phaedriel! Especially since it's so unique. :) I don't mean to bother you, but do you think that maybe if you have just a few minutes, that you could put a box around my header so that it fits in with the rest of the page? Not like Alison's, but rather that it's its own separate box, but still connected. No hurry at all, of course, just whenever you get a chance! Thank you again for the fantastic barnstar! GlassCobra00:22, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
Hi, thanks so much for offering to help with the page Delta Lambda Psi. I'm sorry for the language used, but am new to the wikipedia thing and I'm not quite understanding the language yet. If you could let me know what needs to be change that would be so amazing. DLP is a new co-ed fraternity at UC Santa Cruz (3 years), and the purpose of my placing it on wikipedia is to network with other fraternities/sororities that have similar interests etc. So please let me know how to change it/what to do. Thanks so much, in advance, for any help you can give.
I'd like to help you with this article; however, I'm a little concerned about your intentions. Wikipedia is not a social networking site by any means; so if your purpose is to hook up with other fraternities and sororites, I'm afraid that's not really acceptable. If you'd like to write a nonbiased encyclopedia article, then, by all means, stay. As noted on your talk page, your article has two main issues: first, it's essentially written like an ad for the article. As I said, the "our"s and "we"s strewn throughout the article, as well as peacock terms like "dedicated" and "strong-willed," it is very clear that someone in the organization wrote the article. Please read up on Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy to improve the article in this area. The other issue with the article is slightly larger: In order to establish notability, our articles here need to have sources and references from neutral, third-party sources, like newspapers and magazines (not blogs). Please read our notability policy, as well as our reliable source guidelines in order to improve the article and save it from deletion. Drop me a line on my talk page if you have any more questions, okay? Good luck! GlassCobra00:38, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
Giving Children Hope
Hey there - as I mentioned, I'm new. I saw that you liked the Giving Children Hope page and you made changes and now it's gone...what happened? I'm confused. Many other organizations similar to mine, like World RElief or World Vision have pages...Help. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Steverding (talk • contribs) 00:47, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
Hey man, sorry that your page got deleted. It looks like the deleting admin trashed it because it was a copyright infringement of another page, which I seem to remember being a problem. You can go ahead and recreate the article, but write it in your own words this time, okay? And make sure to keep those sources in! Good luck, and drop me a line if you need anything! GlassCobra00:54, 19 September 2007 (UTC)

Hey, thanks for trying to make Wikipedia a better place by helping remove articles that might be unfit for keeping here. However, it looks like you had improperly formatted your entry. When you create a full AfD, remember to follow all the steps outlined at Template:AfD footer, okay? Happy editing! GlassCobra04:13, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
It's cool if you want to change or expand your reasoning for deletion; just edit the part where you put your initial comments. GlassCobra04:33, 19 September 2007 (UTC)

EEEks - I wouldn't have any idea what I infringed upon?? I used language from my website such as my mission, a little history of our organization and such. This wikipedia thing is super confusing as I used references and wrote in my own words our work...I'll try again. Thanks for your help! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Steverding (talk • contribs) 06:05, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
new page
So I put up the Giving Children Hope page again - let me know your thoughts. I'm praying it does not get deleted again...
Hmm, to be honest, it really doesn't look all that different. Try re-writing it, okay? I think you just put up the same article. GlassCobra14:04, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
Hee hee, that's a cute one, I asked Husond, but I think they're away from computer, could you drop over to Timothy's page and tell him where that template can be found! I didn't know, I copied the code from Chrislk02's page, . Ariel♥Gold17:04, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
Yep! :) I've put your Nav Bar in a header box, in the same color scheme as the rest of your userpage - please let me know if that's what you wanted... scallywag! ;) Love, Phaedriel - 02:27, 20 September 2007 (UTC)
Thank you for your participation in my RFA, which closed successfully with 83 supports, 1 oppose, and 0 neutrals. No matter if you voted (I mean, "!voted") support or oppose, I thank you for taking the time to drop by. I'm new, remember, so if you have any suggestions feel free to inform me of them, and if I do anything wrong, feel free to add to the permanent chorus of disapproval on my talk page. Special thanks to WaltonOne and DihydrogenMonoxide for nominating me.
SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Wikipedia better -- thanks for helping.
If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please tell me on SuggestBot's talk page. Thanks from ForteTuba, SuggestBot's caretaker.
It's a fair question. I didn't feel comfortable blocking the user indefinitely at this time, because there were some good-faith edits to other articles in the contribution history, enough for me to assume, at least for now, that the user, relatively new, has a serious misunderstanding of NPOV and how Wikipedia really should work. I don't think the user came here merely to keep calling Halo 3 "overrated" (that article is going to receive a lot of attention, for better or worse, for the next week or so), based on edits elsewhere, some of which seem in good faith. At the same time, I do agree that the behavior needs to improve quickly. I just didn't see an indefinite block as justifiable at this time. — TKD::Talk18:10, 25 September 2007 (UTC)
Yeah, that's definitely an okay call. I hadn't looked close enough at his contributions. Thanks for the reply, and happy editing! GlassCobra19:14, 25 September 2007 (UTC)
Re:Signpost
Hey, was hoping you could help me out. I've tried leaving a few notes on Ral315's talk page, but he doesn't seem to see them. I'm an ex-journalism major (switched to poly sci), but I know a fair bit about news style. I'd like to know how I can get involved in writing for the Signpost. Would you mind dropping me a line back on my talk page when you get a chance? Thanks! GlassCobra21:29, 26 September 2007 (UTC)
To tell you the truth, my role is only finding bits of information and collating to a central location. The best thing to do is look on the suggestions page, and write an article on it and post it on the next issue page. Thats how most people get their start. The Placebo Effect21:52, 26 September 2007 (UTC)
i have never valalize anything on goku page i only been working on Attack Moves. I am not a evil person that likes to damage a artical but i am creative. It might be another person who might of done and it's not me. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Aqua Of Light (talk • contribs)
Unfortunately, adding things like "this guy named steven created goku but he was depressed and now he has some propblems and goes to the mental institution" isn't really considered constructive here. The other content that you added had been removed previously as per community consensus. GlassCobra19:13, 27 September 2007 (UTC)
Aydin00
Hey, just so you know, you indef blocked this guy, but the note on his talk page said that he's only been blocked temporarily. Dunno if you want to fix it, seeing as he's not coming back, but I thought I'd let you know. Cheers! GlassCobra21:11, 27 September 2007 (UTC)
I have noticed that you have made a total of 5 reverts in the last 24 hours to Spells in Harry Potter. This is in violation of the three revert rule, which states that "An editor must not perform more than three reverts, in whole or in part, on a single page within a 24-hour period." If an action really needs reverting, somebody else will probably do it. To avoid a 24 hour block from editing, you should revert (at least) two of your reverts. For more information, you may also like to read Wikipedia:Revert only when necessary. Thanks! •Malinaccier•T/C22:11, 27 September 2007 (UTC)
Are you honestly quoting policy at me? Come on, man, you know me. Whatever happened to giving established editors the benefit of the doubt? My reverts are exclusively to improve the article. I'm not going to apologize for violating the rule, as I did it in the best interest of the article and the project. I'll revert my edits, but someone else needs to clean up after me. GlassCobra02:11, 28 September 2007 (UTC)
Hey man, Malinaccier is calling me on violating 3RR, so it looks like I'm out of action to defend the article, at least in the immediate sense. I'll drop by and clean up where I can, but I can't do any more reverting, at least until tomorrow. I counted 5 reverts by me, so I have to re-revert 2. Would you mind cleaning up whatever mess gets put back into the article? Thanks. GlassCobra02:16, 28 September 2007 (UTC)
I'm not as attentive as you, but I'll do my best. Malinaccier seems to be doing less of an accusation and more of a "watch-out, admins are nit-picky". Therequiembellishere19:06, 28 September 2007 (UTC)
I didn't mean to offend you, but I wanted to warn you (as Therequiembellishere stated) to help prevent a future block. The reverts you made were for the good of the encyclopedia, so it wasn't like you were in an edit war, but you should still be careful. Sorry if I am still offending you. •Malinaccier•T/C22:40, 28 September 2007 (UTC)
I highly doubt I'll be banned for acting in the best interest of the project. I may have broken the letter of the law, but I was still upholding it in spirit. My annoyance with you stems merely from you unnecessarily quoting policy at me, a user who has not only read the policy, but warned others in the past about it. GlassCobra02:53, 29 September 2007 (UTC)
My article on Moeko Matsushita was only just created and is up for deletion. I need help from you to save it from being deleted. Get involved!Kitty5302:39, 30 September 2007 (UTC)
Okay, I fixed up the article a bit, and left a note on the talk page. On another note, do you really need to create all those redirects? They don't really serve any purpose. Just something to think about. GlassCobra07:14, 30 September 2007 (UTC)
Who are you kidding
There is a sort of dictatership forming at Wikipeda. If you do not like the content you brand it "vandalism". It's time for Wiki to dump you guys, or users to get a new online service. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.100.153.113 (talk) 10:23, 30 September 2007 (UTC)
Okay, listen; the first four of your six edits to the Indiana Jones article pertained to the previous movies, so they were reverted. That's pretty simple. But as far as I can tell, the content from your two other edits are still there. I'm not exactly sure why you're complaining. I'm also not really sure why you're picking on Alientraveller, he didn't personally revert any of your comments. What I can tell you is that if you vandalize any more pages, including user pages, I'll have you blocked. GlassCobra10:30, 30 September 2007 (UTC)

Please bear with me. I am still new to this.
I'm taking my time to familiarise myself with the conventions, so I crave your patience.
I have put something up on talk page justifying why I think this page should be included, and I've made alterations to the page to try to achieve a more dispassionate stance.
Sure thing. Your dad is definitely notable, so the article isn't in any immediate danger of being deleted. You're doing a great job so far of taking the bias out of the article, and some more sources will definitely make sure the article is kept. Keep it up, and let me know if you need any help! GlassCobra11:01, 30 September 2007 (UTC)
Ah, almost forgot: When you write on a talk page, like the help desk or this page, type four tildes (~~~~) after your post; this signs it by putting your name and the date. I think I mentioned that at your entry on the help desk, but you may not have seen it. Happy editing! GlassCobra11:03, 30 September 2007 (UTC)
Great job signing your post, but you don't need to create a new section every time. If you've already posted about a similar topic on a given talk page, you can just keep your comments in the same section. If you look at how I fixed your reply, you can see how inserting a colon before your comment creates an indent, as threaded comments are easier to read. For this comment, I put two indents to signify a progression in the conversation. For more details, check out Wikipedia:Talk page guidelines. Keep up the good work! GlassCobra11:10, 30 September 2007 (UTC)
No you may not! Haha, of course it's okay! I assume you mean Mailer diablo's picture, which I saw up at the top there. As long as you give him credit, it should be okay for you to use it. You might also want to put the {{talkheader}} template up at the top too. Happy editing! GlassCobra16:55, 30 September 2007 (UTC)
Thanks, GlassCobra! That means a lot to me. You know, I'm starting to make new friends at Wikipedia. Thanks for adding stuff to Moeko Matsushita! Thanks for contributing to that article!:)Kitty5317:27, 30 September 2007 (UTC)(T)
Hey, just thought you might like to know that ECHO 1 has been re-created. As the deleting admin, would you mind having a look and seeing if it's been improved since last time? Thanks. GlassCobra08:21, 30 September 2007 (UTC)
Yes, it's back - these things tend to just shy of advertising by the same author with a WP:COI no doubt. Any way, I nominated it at AFD to get rid of it that way. If successful, WP:CSD#G4 applies and it can be tagged for speedy deletion. Thanks for keeping WP clean - you can of course comment at the AFD debate. It's a good thing to keep a watch for recurrences - I tend to go through my deletion log every couple of weeks to see what's sprouted back. :-) Carlossuarez4619:16, 30 September 2007 (UTC)
For kicking ass all over the place - vandalwhacking, npp, AfD, AIV, HD, articles, and everywhere else. Have a barnstar, you've deserved it, and use it well! — Dihydrogen Monoxide (H2O) 09:43, 1 October 2007 (UTC)

Yeah, well, that's what I get for subst-ing a template I've never used before. Harrumph. Don't you have a thesis you should be working on or something? :P GlassCobra (Review) 03:22, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
Welcome, and thank you for experimenting with the page WP:Help desk on Wikipedia. Your test worked, and it has been reverted or removed. Hey, thanks for catching that vandalism. Drop me a line on my talk page if you ever need anything, okay? Keep up the good work! GlassCobra (Review) 02:19, 10 October 2007 (UTC)
When I initially started making edits, I used Merotoker. One time when I logged out, the computer said my password was invalid when I tried to sign back on. Rather than deal with complications of trying to change my password, I just created a new name. One time when I forgot my current password, I created Merotoker2. I remembered my password, so I still use this name. If I have the same problem again, I'll be Merotoker2.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Merotoker1 (talk • contribs)
Please, don't.
Hey, just wanted to tell you that I've put up some of your many redirects up for discussion at WP:RFD. No offense, of course, but I just think that some of them are kind of unrealistic. Feel free to go over and add your input! GlassCobra (Review) 23:17, 10 October 2007 (UTC)
I'm sorry, but you create quite a lot of redirects that we simply don't need. Of course, it's up to the community to decide, but that's how I feel, at least. I apologize if I've caused any offense. GlassCobra (Review) 23:25, 10 October 2007 (UTC)
Well like I said, you're more than welcome to go over to WP:RFD and give your reasoning for keeping them. By the way, when you post on my talk page, you don't have to make a new section every time. If it's about the same topic, you can just tack your comment onto the original one, like I'm doing here. I didn't delete your comment, I simply moved it up to join with your first one. GlassCobra (Review) 23:39, 10 October 2007 (UTC)

Hey buddy, haven't heard from you in a bit! I'm really sorry that I missed your RfA, But you know you would have had a guaranteed Support from me :) Anyway, hope all is well, drop me a line back, okay? Or reply here...I'm watching youuu...>_> GlassCobra (Review) 14:14, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
What, we have to talk daily now :p Nothing much has changed...I haven't been as active as I'd have like of late, but that should be done and dusted soon. On a good note, my bot got approved :) Dihydrogen Monoxide (H2O) 06:29, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
Every redirect you put up for discussion, well, the discussions have been going on for a long time, and it probably takes forever for the discussions to end. It's making the redirects up for discussion not redirect anywhere, and I'm getting sick and tired of waiting for the discussions to end! Please respond on my talk page. Kitty5322:06, 14 October 2007 (UTC)
No problem; just happened to be along at the time. :) Hey, listen, have you ever considered becoming an admin? I'd be happy to nominate you if you wanted. :) I think you'd do a great job. GlassCobra22:59, 14 October 2007 (UTC)
Cool. I have considered becoming an admin but I'm not going to accept any nominations until I get my article creation edits/AfD discussion edits up. Maybe at Christmas or Easter but not now as it's too early(I've been editing nearly everyday for four months but I think it's still too soon). But it means a lot that you have a lot in faith in me and you would trust me with the admin tools. AngelOfSadness talk 23:08, 14 October 2007 (UTC)

Yup, it's almost three in the morning, should be in bed..yet I'm still here on my obsession too...;) I'm leaving tomorrow for a business trip to NYC tomorrow and I still haven't packed...yet here I type...<sigh>. Glad I'm in good company, tho...nice to hear from ya, GC! Love that username, btw...very cool... Dreadstar†06:59, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
Wow, a business trip? That's pretty sweet. Thanks for the compliment on my name, it's a reference to a band that my uncle had when he was younger, The Glass Cobras. Too bad they're not very notable, or I'd write an article about them, haha. :P GlassCobra07:01, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
The Glass Cobras...wow..very interesting name. What kind of music did they play? Darn, I should really get to bed..I'll talk to you soon, dude! Either study or get some sleep! (yeah, like I can talk..sheesh...;) Dreadstar†07:09, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
Nice. :P Thanks for cleaning up my editor review, by the way, and moving that guy's comments to the main page. I would never have seen them. Actually, I never expected so many people to reply to my review, so that's sort of nice. :) GlassCobra07:44, 15 October 2007 (UTC)

IP vandal category
Not sure. However, I think that perhaps we should set a minimum criteria for "vandalism". What do you think? - jc3708:22, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
Well as I said, I had only been placing the blatant vandals that I came across; level 2 and higher, no test editors. I think that if we only placed IPs that were actually blocked for vandalism, that would be counterproductive. Conversely, if we placed every IP that made any kind of unconstructive edit into the category, it would get out of control very quickly. As it stands, its most important use is seeing that an IP is included in the category, which can give a hint as to what any future contributions might be. I may have placed a few shared/educational IPs in there, but we should probably refrain from those; due to the inconsistency of their edits, it might cause bias against them and loss of good faith, constructive edits. What are your thoughts? GlassCobra14:14, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
That sounds like a good start for criteria. Would you mind putting something like that in the category intro for future reference? Also, there have been several discussions about school IPs. I think it might be a good idea to make a parent category for school IPs, with the school IP ranges in sub-categories. I think it would be a good reference. - jc3721:45, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
