OVERLINKING
[edit]Hi, thanks for your work, but PLEASE don't link common terms. See my edit. Tony (talk) 08:32, 4 September 2022 (UTC)
- Hello @Tony1. You’re welcome. Thank you for the constructive criticism. I was reluctant to do so, but I stared seeing a few other articles linking common terms, so I thought perhaps it was a new trend... Geo Lightspeed7 (talk) 10:34, 4 September 2022 (UTC)
- Yeah, we hope that by removing undesirable links it stops their spread. It's hard when almost every article translated from another language Wiki is a sea of blue. Tony (talk) 00:23, 5 September 2022 (UTC)
- Ok! Thanks @Tony1! I’ll definitely make sure not do to that from now on! Geo Lightspeed7 (talk) 19:36, 5 September 2022 (UTC)

Nice job on the article. You might want to consider moving the notable performers section to after the memorable engagements, and convert it to list form.

- Hello @Onel5969:. Thank you very much! I agree that the notable performers should be converted to list form, and switching the format as you mentioned is a good idea, too. I will put it on my Wikipedia list of things to do. Thanks again! Geo Lightspeed7 (talk) 14:55, 21 January 2023 (UTC)

- Hello @Noahfgodard. A couple of days ago, I took your advice and visited Teahouse for some insights and assistance from fellow editors for the article Draft:Erin M. Jacobson. Surprisingly, I did receive some sound counsel from a few experienced editors. They also did some major editing for me. A lot of it was cut out, revealing a more condensed version about the subject. When you have the time, I invite you to visit the resubmission for another look at a dramatically altered article. It has since fundamentally changed, hopefully for the better. Thank you @Noahfgodard! Geo Lightspeed7 (talk) 19:06, 7 August 2023 (UTC)

Be brutal in your cuts
[edit]In my experienced opinion, Erin M. Jacobson will prove to be Wikipedia-notable, but you must be brutal in your cuts of content and references. What is needed is three or more references to published content ABOUT her, i.e., not just mentions that she had be or radio, or TV, or published something. For the same reason, I removed all the images of famous musicians she has represented, as notability is not contagious. What she has written about herself (social media, etc.) and interviews of her do not contribute to notability. Keep cutting until you have left the core of what makes her important to the entertainment industry. Once accepted, more can be added later. David notMD (talk) 14:34, 6 August 2023 (UTC)
- Okay, @David notMD. Thanks for the advice, even though it’s not a pleasant experience to cut out so much... Should I just turn it into a STUB article for now and then go back later and add more noteworthy content to it if it gets published. Geo Lightspeed7 (talk) 15:12, 6 August 2023 (UTC)
- I believe there is enough for this to be Start. The Lead should be 2-3 paragraphs of summary type content, elaborated upon in the body of the article. David notMD (talk) 01:29, 7 August 2023 (UTC)
- Hi @David notMD. I read your interesting bio. I, too, am interested in nutrition. I grow much of my own food. Anyhow, I will do my best to follow through with your new advice. Thank you again! Geo Lightspeed7 (talk) 15:15, 7 August 2023 (UTC)

Perry case?
[edit]The last two paragraphs of legal discussions is about a Perry case. Unless Jacobson was a lawyer for this case, her opinions about it - on Twitter, radio and her blog - do not belong in this article. David notMD (talk) 14:40, 6 August 2023 (UTC)
- Hi @David notMD. No, she was not involved in that case from what I could find, except the radio station, but I could find no link to it online. I will remove it. Thanks! Geo Lightspeed7 (talk) 15:16, 6 August 2023 (UTC)
AfC notification: Draft:Erin M. Jacobson has a new comment
[edit]- You’re welcome and thank you @Noahfgodard. It has been a long process for sure. Okay...I can do that. Great idea regarding the comment in order to provide an easier way for reviewers...establishing notability. I will probably provide the comment sometime tomorrow after going through the article. Thanks for the invitation to contact you if I have any questions and to let you know when I’ve finished. Cheers! Geo Lightspeed7 (talk) 00:25, 8 August 2023 (UTC)
AfC notification: Draft:Erin M. Jacobson has a new comment
[edit]- Hi @Noahfgodard. Thank you. I just looked at your comment. I was googling a few different phrases with her name in them and I began seeing some new articles. The “problem” that Jacobson has is so many reliably-sourced articles have been written by her. I will see what I can uncover... As far as the “shared pertinent perspectives,” I have been meaning to change it. I guess I now have some motivation to do so! Appreciate your help! Geo Lightspeed7 (talk) 21:04, 9 August 2023 (UTC)
