Please read: If you're coming here wondering why I pinged you about vandalism to your user page when there is no obvious recent vandalism in that page's history, it was probably attempted vandalism by an unconfirmed or anonymous user which was caught by this edit filter. I've been monitoring that filter log because I started the RfC that resulted in its creation.

Feedback appreciated

Hi Funcrunch I've been searching through Wikiprojects to find editors that could provide feedback on an article I've created : Draft:Karlyn Percil. If you've got interest in reading about the topic and checking out edits, I would greatly appreciate your feedback. — Preceding unsigned comment added by AMPLIFYHER2020 (talkcontribs) 01:29, 19 February 2020 (UTC)

@AMPLIFYHER2020: Considering your exchange with Bearcat (talk · contribs) I'd rather not get involved, sorry. Funcrunch (talk) 02:06, 19 February 2020 (UTC)

Disruptive Edits?

Curious how my edits are disruptive? They is a pronoun for multiple people. Mr. Tobia is one person, therefore I'm correcting the improper grammar. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Stretchtwothree (talkcontribs) 19:39, 17 May 2020 (UTC)

The use of singular they for non-binary people who choose to go by those pronouns is well-established and grammatical. Funcrunch (talk) 19:41, 17 May 2020 (UTC)
Well-established by whom? This is the first I am hearing of anything like this. Stretchtwothree (talkcontribs) 19:45, 17 May 2020 (UTC)
Read the singular they article I already linked to for more information and references. I'm not interested in discussing this with you further. Funcrunch (talk) 20:01, 17 May 2020 (UTC)

Nah, too long. I'll abide by your request for now.Stretchtwothree (talkcontribs) 20:08, 17 May 2020 (UTC)

small world

Just looking at Black Vegans Rock for info on Aph Ko w/re Vegan studies, scrolled down and found profile of you w/link here. :) Always fun when I find a WPer outside of WP. —valereee (talk) 16:47, 20 July 2020 (UTC)

@Valereee: Thanks for the message! (Had to fix a missing closing tag above this section in order to see it!) Funcrunch (talk) 16:50, 20 July 2020 (UTC)
Yes, I think we were probably both working on that at the same time lol...btw, Aph Ko...? You probably can't do it, but you maybe know what press is out there? —valereee (talk) 16:58, 20 July 2020 (UTC)
created. I like to offer article subjects the opportunity to upload a photo they prefer, so if you can upload one you took or ask her to upload a selfie or have a friend upload something, that would be great! Let me know if I've gotten something wrong! —valereee (talk) 17:46, 20 July 2020 (UTC)
@Valereee: Thanks for starting the article! I have several good images of Aph; will upload to Commons later today or tomorrow and add to the article. Funcrunch (talk) 19:16, 20 July 2020 (UTC)
Might be best if you just post an edit request and ping me, just to avoid any appearance of COI. :) —valereee (talk) 19:35, 20 July 2020 (UTC)
@Valereee: I doubt just adding an image would be a problem, but sure. Funcrunch (talk) 19:39, 20 July 2020 (UTC)
No doubt, it's that some topics get more scrutiny, which makes me paranoid. :D —valereee (talk) 20:15, 20 July 2020 (UTC)

@Valereee: Here you go! Funcrunch (talk) 03:03, 21 July 2020 (UTC)

Cool! I've added it! —valereee (talk) 10:45, 21 July 2020 (UTC)

Graffiti

I viewed this wiki three months ago, and I must point out virtually all of the names and bios of transgender people that had been listed, has now been erased. I presume the motivation is against Black Lives Matter; I will notify the proper authorities on the matter.

Did you play a part in this outrage? Silvanus93 (talk) 20:43, 9 August 2020 (UTC)

@Silvanus93: I have no idea what aritcle(s) you're talking about, but threatening legal action is a quick way of getting banned from Wikipedia, so please choose your words carefully. Funcrunch (talk) 21:00, 9 August 2020 (UTC)

In my opinion, proper authorities means a civil rights organisation like the Human Rights Campaign (HRC). Your threatening language isn't appreciated; your edits are graffiti, it isn't a coincidence, that you began erasing material a week after Transgenders Black Lives Matter protests began last year. Please stop using Wikipedia as a medium for your political activism. Silvanus93 (talk) 18:45, 11 September 2021 (UTC)

@Silvanus93: I don't know why you're just responding to my reply over a year later, but I still have no idea what article(s) or edits you're talking about. Either provide specific links/diffs or stay off of my talk page. Funcrunch (talk) 20:09, 11 September 2021 (UTC)

Hi, last year's post was in response to graffiti perpetrated on List of people killed for being Transgender. If was the first time I had attempted to edit something on Wikipedia, because I felt very sad that anti-Transgender activists were busily removing the names of more than two dozen Transgenders murdered in 2020 in the United States. This utterly deplorable; but, I made a mistake, due to my inexperience I found myself on your page by accident. I know realize, it was somebody else, that I wished to reply to. Lastly, I appreciate all that you are doing to build awareness of Transgenders and the Transgender community on Wikipedia; thank you! I noticed, that you wrote a page about Jennette Johnson, co-founder of Transgender Cultural District in San Francisco; thank you, Jennette is a personal friend of mine. Although, sadly, I think, the heyday of San Francisco as a centre of MtF culture has elapsed, today, the city of San Francisco merely pretends that it is not so. Nearly all of my Transwoman friends left San Francisco from 2008 onwards; people who had lived in the city for a decade or more. But, I digress, so enclosing, thanks again, keep up the good work. Silvanus93 (talk) 22:51, 11 September 2021 (UTC)

@Silvanus93: Thanks for the clarification and acknowledgment. Funcrunch (talk) 00:26, 12 September 2021 (UTC)
