Non-Free rationale for File:Love Is Like an Itching in My Heart.ogg
Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Love Is Like an Itching in My Heart.ogg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under Non-Free content criteria but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a Non-Free rationale.
If you have uploaded other Non-Free media, consider checking that you have specified the Non-Free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Tri-Rail station names
I recently made global capitalization edits to Tri-Rail station names in the interest of maintaining consistency with the names of U.S. rail stations in other Wikipedia articles. I note that you have reverted these edits, and that you did so without any explanation. There are three naming conventions for U.S. rail station articles. The first is where the word "station" is used as part of the name and, as with any boldfaced name, the word "station" is capitalized. For example, see the Bethpage (LIRR station) article ("Bethpage Station is a station along the Main Line . . . ."). The second convention dispenses with the word "station" as part of the name, as in this article ("Morristown is a New Jersey Transit rail station . . . ."). The third convention is similar to the second, and lumps the rail line name and the word "station" together, as in this article ("The Dobbs Ferry Metro-North Railroad station serves residents . . . . "). If capitalizing "station" in the boldfaced names of the Tri-Rail articles bothers you all that much, I would suggest using either the second or third conventions (e.g., "Hialeah Market is a Tri-Rail station" or "The Hialeah Market Tri-Rail station"). A thought
I've been watching your edits on my 20K-page watchlist for some time, and I have been greatly interested in needing some help cleaning these metaphorical dumpster articles on Florida roads out and expanding them. As the only one putting in any effort in, I could really use some back up and us at the roads project need a full time Florida editor. If you want to give me a thought, I would sincerely like to know if you'd consider it. Thanks. Mitch32(Can someone turn on the damn air conditioning?) 18:17, 16 July 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks. Here's a few suggestions to get you started: WP:USRD/STDS, this is our standards page on expanding an article. It might be suggestable if you join us at #wikipedia-en-roads on Internet Relay Chat. If you need a cheap IRC browser, you could a) download mIRC, b) use this or c) Use Chatzilla if you have Firefox. There are editors there, including myself, who can help you get the ropes down. It does help to some degree to join us there. Mitch32(Can someone turn on the damn air conditioning?) 18:50, 16 July 2011 (UTC)
- Also, there are some articles you could examples for, like Florida State Road 806 or Florida State Road 849, etc. that you could use for templates. Not that they are the best in the world, but they work.Mitch32(Can someone turn on the damn air conditioning?) 18:51, 16 July 2011 (UTC)
Hello. According to the speedy deletion tag you left on this redirect, you'd like to move the article Diana Ross & The Supremes in its place. I'm sure that's some sort of mistake. Could you double-check and indicate what article you want moved? Thank you. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 20:50, 16 July 2011 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image File:TrevorStJohn.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:TrevorStJohn.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Skier Dude (talk) 05:13, 17 July 2011 (UTC)
File:Hollywood1939.png listed for deletion
A file that you uploaded or altered, File:Hollywood1939.png, has been listed at Wikipedia:Files for deletion. File permission problem with File:Okeechobee departure.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:Okeechobee departure.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.
If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-enwikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-enwikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Kelly hi! 21:50, 9 August 2011 (UTC)

FricFrack - I see that on July 11 2011 you changed the name of the template Miami Major commercial centers to be the template Greater Miami. I don't think this is a good idea. Could we discuss this at Template talk:Greater Miami ? --GroveGuy (talk) 02:36, 27 August 2011 (UTC)
The Lord Family
FrickFrack, I love your edits for the Lord family, but I have a problem--you've de-Lorded Dorian Lord! Dorian was a member of that family by marriage, yes, but she owned a big portion of the Lord estate, lived at Llanfair, and was a member of that family since her marriage to Victor. Not just in her consisten use of the name for almost forty years, but oin her relationship with Viki. In fact, from about 1975-1992, the Lords were her only family outside of Cassie. I don't think we should de-emphasize this, not just for Dorian, but for the Lord family as well. Bmf777 (talk) 01:13, 30 August 2011 (UTC)
Miami street grid system
Here is a useful and informative link on the Miami street grid system. It might help clarify some things.
http://www.urbanplanet.org/forums/index.php/topic/16777-street-smart-a-fun-guide-to-miami-streets/
Essentially, Miami Avenue splits the county west and east, and Flagler Street splits the county north and south, creating four quadrants: NW, NE, SW and SE. Streets and avenues are labeled by the quadrant they're located in. For example, the Marlins Ballpark is just off NW 7th Street and NW 17th Avenue, because it is north of Flagler Street and west of Miami Avenue.--Comayagua99 (talk) 14:28, 31 August 2011 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Graves Victor.png
A tag has been placed on File:Graves Victor.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. WP:YEAR
Hey - I noticed this edit - [1] - It was correct before - please see WP:YEAR - "A closing CE or AD year is normally written with two digits (1881–86) unless it is in a different century from that of the opening year, in which case the full closing year is given (1881–1986)."Rain the 1 19:51, 27 February 2012 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification
Hi. When you recently edited One Life to Live miscellaneous characters, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page American (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

About another user
So it has been confirmed SEVERAL times on the show that John and Hope are MARRIED (Days of our Lives), but another user rm994 keeps reverting the edits. The show is the source, but he keeps saying it is unsourced. I noticed that when you updated it, she did the same thing. Arjoccolenty (talk) 22:02, 8 March 2012 (UTC)
- First off, Rm is a he. Second of all, the show is not a source. It needs to come from a third-party source in order to be allowed truthful. Stop trying to make your own rules for Wikipedia. MusicFreak7676 TALK! 20:24, 9 March 2012 (UTC)
- No, the show is the source. That's how it is for plot summaries or plot information that has already happened on the show. Why do you think hardly any Wikipedia plot summaries (whether plays, film or television) are sourced with third-party references or any references other than the text? This was already made clear in the Storylines sections lack references discussion (which is now archived, so you can't comment there) and as recently as the Requests for comment discussion (this section is not yet archived). 67.55.104.203 (talk) 21:43, 9 March 2012 (UTC)
- In fact, it's in the WP:SOAPS guideline as a result of that first discussion. 67.55.104.203 (talk) 21:49, 9 March 2012 (UTC)

File permission problem with File:Riverwalk.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:Riverwalk.jpg.
Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 19:25, 11 March 2012 (UTC)
