Feedback about Draft:Indoor Advertising
[edit]Hi Fraredemptor,
I did glance at your draft and comment on it, but I didn't look at it thoroughly - it is still in the queue for someone else to give it a full review. That said, it looks like reviewers (and other people looking at the draft) have three main concerns:
- The tone of this draft reads more like a marketing company trying to promote indoor advertising than a formal encyclopedia article explaining what indoor advertising is.
- Why does this topic deserve its own article, rather than just being a section in the article advertising?
- The best sources for an article are usually the ones that aren't written by people closely connected to the topic - in this case, the best sources would be ones not written by advertising companies. (As a side note, I don't know quite what you mean by "I didn't add new sources because there aren't any.")
One last question: did you write all of the text and take all of the pictures in this draft, or are any of them copied from somewhere else?
I hope this is of some help. LittlePuppers (talk) 04:59, 6 August 2023 (UTC)
- Hi, thank you for your reply. I was thinking of creating this Indoor advertising page for non-commercial purposes, as I am not in any way involved in marketing business. Why I do believe it deserves a Wikipedia page of its own is that indoor advertising - even is included under the big advertising umbrella - is specialized in advertising exclusively in closed spaces. Do you think that I should rather write it as a section of Advertising page? And yes, I wrote the whole text and took all the pictures by myself (from malls and other commercial public spaces). None are not copied from anywhere. Thx. Fraredemptor (talk) 10:12, 7 August 2023 (UTC)

- Hi. I noticed that you dismissed my draft article a few seconds after I posted it. Did you had time to read it at least? Tell me please, what is missing? I have in my article independent sources and official sources. Also, and this is very important, it is an article about a company. It may not be Coca Cola or Siemens, but it is a company. So, what is the problem with my article? Thank you. Fraredemptor (talk) 13:07, 8 November 2023 (UTC)
- Look, here is the Wikipedia page of a newspaper, ZF.ro https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ziarul_Financiar. Is this an indepth stuff? Why this page is already approved but mine is not? Thank you. Fraredemptor (talk) 13:15, 8 November 2023 (UTC)
