Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I've noticed that you've been adding your signature to some of your article contributions. This is a simple mistake to make and by now should have been corrected. For future reference, the need to associate edits with users is taken care of by an article's edit history. Therefore, you should use your signature only when contributing to talk pages, the Village Pump, or other such discussion pages. For a better understanding of what distinguishes articles from these type of pages, please see What is an article?. Again, thanks for contributing, and enjoy your Wikipedia experience! Thank you. Marius de Zayas

[edit]

I have restored the page and moved it to User:FrancisNaumann/Marius de Zayas so that you can work on it. Apologies if it was not copied from somewhere, that would have been a mistake of mine. Remember to cite reliable sources before moving it back to the mainspace, and please ensure that the article is not a copyright violation. Thanks. J Milburn 15:49, 22 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It is important that everything on Wikipedia is cited to reliable sources, as I explained above. If you yourself are the only source, that would constitute original research. However, the book you edited would be ok as a source to an extent, but third party sources are preferable. Also, that source alone would not count for anything regarding the notability of the subjects. For now, don't worry about the images in the articles- they can be added later, and are a whole new bag of complicated procedures. When linking to other articles on Wikipedia, you place square brackets around the exact title of the page- for instance, [[heavy metal music]] shows up as heavy metal music. Alternatively, if you want to link to a page but not use the title, you can use a piped link- so, [[heavy metal music|metal]] shows up as metal. Citing sources is important, and it is explained in detail here. I'm currently on a rather poor Internet connection, so can't give you much help right now- I will get back in contact as soon as I have a decent connection again- shouldn't be too long at all. Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello FrancisNaumann! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 291 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

  1. Arnold T. Rosenberg - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on John Cauman requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.   Kadzi  (talk) 20:28, 31 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
