Notice

The article Lena Raine has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Hog Farm (talk) 23:47, 24 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Aldi Adilang requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. CatcherStorm talk 19:51, 25 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Aldi Adilang has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Our relevant guidelines suggest we shouldn't have articles about subjects notable only for one event. In this case "reliable sources cover the person only in the context of a single event" and the "person otherwise remains, and is likely to remain, a low-profile individual".

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. --Pontificalibus 14:50, 26 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:Mediterráneo Album Art.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Mediterráneo Album Art.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 23:30, 6 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:Zombs Gameplay.png

[edit]
⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Zombs Gameplay.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 03:44, 12 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Replaceable fair use File:Artificial Language Band.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Artificial Language Band.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{Di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Victor Lopes Fala!C 01:30, 4 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Stray Dog West Picture.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a non-free file with a clearly invalid licensing tag; or it otherwise fails some part of the non-free content criteria. If you can find a valid tag that expresses why the file can be used under the fair use guidelines, please replace the current tag with that tag. If no such tag exists, please add the {{Non-free fair use}} tag, along with a brief explanation of why this constitutes fair use of the file. If the file has been deleted, you can re-upload it, but please ensure you place the correct tag on it.

Thank you for creating Mario Golf: Super Rush.

User:TheTechnician27, while examining this page as a part of our page curation process, had the following comments:

Article's subject unambiguously meets the GNG per a preliminary search for sources. No technical or writing issues that would give me pause in marking this as reviewed. Maybe the 'Gameplay' section could be written in the future tense to reflect that the game isn't out yet, but that isn't a huge issue, and it might make the prose sound too clunky.

There was an error with the way I previously formatted the link, if you currently click it, the page 404s. Not sure how exactly removing a space broke the link, but looking at the edit history it seems like it did. It's especially weird as all the links on other pages I fixed didn't break, so no clue what happened there. FlyingKangeroo (talk) 17:52, 1 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Oh. Didn't know that. I just assume that the link didn't 404 previously and after you did that it 404'd. (also make sure to ping me when you reply on your talk page, otherwise I don't get the notification) Blaze The Wolf | Proud Furry and Wikipedia Editor (talk) 14:52, 5 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Featuring your work on Wikipedia's front page: DYKs

[edit]

Thank you for your recent articles, including Karolina Juszczykowska, which I read with interest. When you create an extensive and well referenced article, you may want to have it featured on Wikipedia's main page in the Did You Know section. Articles included there will be read by thousands of our viewers. To do so, add your article to the list at T:TDYK. This can be also done through this helpful user script: User:SD0001/DYK-helper. WikiProject assessment tags for talk pages

[edit]

Thank you for your recent articles, including Karolina Juszczykowska, which I read with interest. When you create a new article, can you add the WikiProject assessment templates to the talk of that article? See the talk page of the article I mentioned for an example of what I mean. Usually it is very simple, you just add something like {{WikiProject Keyword}} to the article's talk, with keyword replaced by the associated WikiProject (ex. if it's a biography article, you would use WikiProject Biography; if it's a United States article, you would use WikiProject United States, and so on). You do not have to rate the article if you do not want to, others will do it eventually. Those templates are very useful, as they bring the articles to a WikiProject attention, and allow them to start tracking the articles through Wikipedia:Article alerts and other tools. For example, WikiProject Poland relies on such templates to generate listings such as Article Alerts, Popular Pages, Quality and Importance Matrix and the Cleanup Listing. Thanks to them, WikiProject members are more easily able to defend your work from deletion, or simply help try to improve it further. Feel free to ask me any questions if you'd like more information about using those talk page templates. Thanks for letting me know, I thought it was something only admins or people on the WikiProject could do. I'll also try to nominate the article for DYK, any advice for what I should do for the hook? FlyingKangeroo (talk) 22:47, 12 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Bengt Essén

[edit]

Hello FlyingKangeroo,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Bengt Essén for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly indicate why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

DYK for David Rabkin

[edit]

On 13 March 2023, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article David Rabkin, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that after anti-apartheid activist David Rabkin was sentenced to prison in South Africa, he gave the courtroom the clenched-fist black power salute? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/David Rabkin. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, David Rabkin), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Your GA nomination of Alto's Odyssey

[edit]

The article Alto's Odyssey you nominated as a good article has passed ; see Talk:Alto's Odyssey for comments about the article, and Talk:Alto's Odyssey/GA1 for the nomination. Well done! If the article has not already appeared on the main page as a "Did you know" item, or as a bold link under "In the News" or in the "On This Day" prose section, you can nominate it within the next seven days to appear in DYK. Notice

The article Evil Empire (company) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Potentially un-notable dev.

In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. thetechie@enwiki: ~/talk/ $ 22:36, 28 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
