[edit]Hey, I will be traveling next week so I will be away from Wikipedia. I will try to address the ref sections in the GAN review tonight; should we split the section 50/50? Also is GDA really more notable in Korea? I never felt that way as it was perhaps more prestigious 15 years ago than it is now, but I digress. Thanks, ɴᴋᴏɴ21 ❯❯❯ talk 01:37, 1 July 2024 (UTC)
- As far as I’m aware, the GDA is a very old awards ceremony since the 80s with a long prestigious history, though it may have fallen recently as you say (similar to VMAs), but I do think it is more prestigious than MAMA. And sure, I’m back now so we can split the refs. How exactly should we split it? Flabshoe1 (talk) 13:18, 1 July 2024 (UTC)
- Actually I noticed in GAN page that you've handled some of the refs already, much appreciated. I'll finish the rest now. Flabshoe1 (talk) 13:36, 1 July 2024 (UTC)
Hi @Flabshoe1. I called Leehsiao and Andrew318 for explanation at the WikiProject talk page, but no response so far. And suggest that change "Label" to "Distributor" at the "Release history" table. If you’re able to could you leave your opinion on the matter, if possible. 2001:D08:2921:7C9B:17DD:FB77:242D:F840 (talk) 04:20, 1 July 2024 (UTC)

Hi Flabshoe
[edit]Hello there, recently the list of best-selling girl groups have been vandalized by an user named "Escmix", the user seemed to have removed your edits as well, they also deleted one of my updates, apparently they're provocating edit warring, i would like to know if there's a way we can stop these users from removing what has already been estabilished by the talk page? They're not respecting the discussions and they are editing as they please to, should we take action? Lightlylove (talk) 22:17, 12 July 2024 (UTC)
- If there's a user starting edit wars even after talk page discussions, it should be reported, yes. I don't want to get involved myself but you can look into dispute resolution options. As for your recent change to Twice's total sales, the source says "The tallied figure includes sales of Nayeon’s solo EP, “Im Nayeon,” and Jihyo’s solo full-length album, “Zone.”" and "This includes the sales of the group's all-Japanese sub-unit Misamo's debut album "Masterpiece" (2023)." Solo and subunit sales don't count for a group's sales, so I restored the previous count. Flabshoe1 (talk) 04:44, 14 July 2024 (UTC)
- Hello There, the report indicates that Nayeon, Jihyo's and Misamo's sales are counted sure however neither of them 5 sold more than one million copies with their releases, together they don't even add up to 2 million, Twice's source of the 15 million albums sold is from 2022 which means all group releases from 2023 to now haven't been counted even though two of their releases racked up to 1.7 million copies and another million more from their lastest EP, also without counting the physical sales of the single album "Hare Hare" so its still innacurate leaving them at 42M when it has increased, anyway that report may say that it counts all of Twice's solo projects however their information can be wrong and there may be another clearer source out there. RE: Kate-Lethbridge Stewart
[edit]Thank you for creating Kate Lethbridge-Stewart! I'm honestly surprised we didn't have an article for her yet given... well, everything she's appeared in within the last decade or so. Still, I did want to let you know there are a lot of book sources covering her under both of her names (Both Kate Stewart and Kate Lethbridge Stewart) which may be helpful for expanding the article's overall scope. I'd definitely suggest digging through there and using them to improve the article. I don't have as much time as I'd like to dig through them myself, but I did a partial look through a while ago where you can find a few sources (User:Pokelego999/sandbox/Kate Lethbridge-Stewart). There are many more I didn't get to since that was like, a five-ten minute search a while ago, but I'd highly suggest going through them and using what you can. I'd also suggest a look through Scholar, though I haven't looked through there myself. This isn't me forcing you or anything, but I did want to suggest it since I feel it'd be beneficial in the long term.
Kind regards and happy editing,

- I know right, it's insane that the article didn't exist yet! Especially now with the spin-off announcement, I decided I might as well finally make the article. Thank you so much for the provided sources, I'll take a look at them. It's definitely a good idea to search for books to improve the article's scope. Flabshoe1 (talk) 19:00, 2 August 2024 (UTC)
- Best of luck! I hope all goes well with editing. Has one ever considered Magneton? Pokelego999 (talk) 18:36, 3 August 2024 (UTC)

[edit]Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks! Steel1943 (talk) 21:32, 13 September 2024 (UTC)

Tencent Music Chart
[edit]I think you'll find that editors would probably agree that a chart published by a streaming corporation falls under WP:SINGLENETWORK or WP:SINGLEVENDOR, 56% of China's music market or not. We prefer charts to be published by independent publications, not by those running the music market themselves. Ss112 09:52, 22 October 2024 (UTC)
- I figured that TME charts were acceptable because it collates data from multiple Chinese platforms and the TME UNI Chart is listed by Billboard as one of its Hits of the World charts accessible on their website, meaning that it has passed the criteria of reliability according to them. Let me know what you think, thanks. If not I’ll remove references to TME charts. Flabshoe1 (talk) 13:55, 22 October 2024 (UTC)
Attribution for Jungkook discography
[edit]Hey just letting you know that in the first edit you made on the page, where you pasted over the Discog section copied from his BLP, you should've included an attribution note in your edit summary linking the revision of his BLP that the info was taken from (see WP:CWW). Whatever your next edit is, you should include the note/link there, and you'll also need to add the "Copied from" template to the talk page (like we did on the BTS awards article). -- Carlobunnie (talk) 15:53, 25 October 2024 (UTC)
- Done, thanks for letting me know. Flabshoe1 (talk) 16:24, 25 October 2024 (UTC)
