[edit]Hi. When you recently edited List of the busiest airports in Brazil, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Santarém, Palmas and Boa Vista (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Nation at the 2023 Pan American Games
[edit]Hey, just a heads up, if a nation qualifies six or less athletes, generally speaking we use one table to list the results (instead of one per gender). Sportsfan 1234 (talk) 17:09, 19 March 2023 (UTC)
- @Felipe.moraislima I am not sure you read my note here! Please do before doing all your hard work. Thanks! Sportsfan 1234 (talk) 22:29, 24 March 2023 (UTC)
- Also the use of the word "has" is not necessary as this places the text in present tense. By removing it, we do not need to go back and edit the articles after the games finish. Sportsfan 1234 (talk) 22:59, 24 March 2023 (UTC)

- Hi, i received the messages and I'm already editing without the present tense.
- Do we have to put all in one table, even if the sport has male, female and mixed events? Felipe.moraislima (talk) 21:53, 14 April 2023 (UTC)
- Do you have an example? As long as its 6 entries or less. Sportsfan 1234 (talk) 21:56, 14 April 2023 (UTC)
- I'm updating the article Argentina at the 2023 Pan American Games now and this country only qualified 3 archers to compete in 4 events (male and female recurve, male compound and mixed recurve). Even in this case, with two genders and a mixed event, do we put in one table? Felipe.moraislima (talk) 21:59, 14 April 2023 (UTC)
- I would put that in one table. IS recurve and compound using the same format? Sportsfan 1234 (talk) 22:01, 14 April 2023 (UTC)
- Yes, they are. There's a ranking round, followed by an elimination round.
- Thanks, i'll keep that in mind when editing. Felipe.moraislima (talk) 22:03, 14 April 2023 (UTC)

Badminton at the 2023 Pan American Games – Qualification moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Badminton at the 2023 Pan American Games – Qualification, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three, to be safe. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:

When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.Onel5969 TT me 11:36, 29 April 2023 (UTC)
Canoeing at the 2023 Pan American Games
[edit]According to the qualification system for slalom, an athlete can only compete in one event at the games. This means Canada/Paraguay have only qualified 3 and 1 athlete respectively (not 4 and 2). Sportsfan 1234 (talk) 20:27, 29 April 2023 (UTC)
- You're right. According to the system, an athlete can only achieve one spot for the country.
- Marianna Torres Briceño participated in both boats for Venezuela, Ana Fernandes and Leonardo Curcel competed in both for Paraguay and Alex Baldoni for Canada.
- What should I do? Do i blank the page and wait for the nations to choose the preferred boat? Felipe.moraislima (talk) 20:39, 29 April 2023 (UTC)
- I think we can assign them to one boat (maybe the best placing spot?) and make a note about the other boat. Sportsfan 1234 (talk) 00:17, 30 April 2023 (UTC)
- I agree Felipe.moraislima (talk) 02:33, 30 April 2023 (UTC)

- Actually, it's not the official source.
- I've just looked at the COPAC website and it's written there that they are going to issue an official statement in the next days.

- Apparently, they considered the nations rankings for BMX, not the individual one. Felipe.moraislima (talk) 20:53, 5 May 2023 (UTC)

Templates
[edit]Why are you moving the entire scoreboxes onto the nations pages? Its easier to use the section names and place them (cuts down on the size page too!). For ex [7]. Sportsfan 1234 (talk) 15:36, 23 September 2023 (UTC)

- I don't think we should, some I have seen subtract or make mention of their E-sports total separately. Are you able to setup an email for your account? I have a few files to send with entries. Thanks! Sportsfan 1234 (talk) 01:45, 12 October 2023 (UTC)
