Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a message letting you know that one or more of your recent edits to The One I Love (R.E.M. song) have been undone by an automated computer program called ClueBot NG.

Thank you. ClueBot NG (talk) 12:37, 20 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Honky Tonk Women, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Sundayclose (talk) 20:28, 20 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. Some of your recent genre changes have conflicted with our neutral point of view and/or verifiability policies. While we invite all users to contribute constructively to Wikipedia, we urge all editors to provide reliable sources for edits made. When others disagree, we recommend you seek consensus for certain edits by discussing the matter on the article's talk page. Thank you. Sundayclose (talk) 20:33, 20 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. In your recent edit to Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, you added links to an article which did not add content or meaning, or repeated the same link several times throughout the article. Please see Wikipedia's guideline on links to avoid overlinking. Thank you. Sundayclose (talk) 20:39, 20 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at You Know My Name (Look Up the Number), you may be blocked from editing. Sundayclose (talk) 20:41, 20 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to change genres without discussion or sources, as you did at Riders on the Storm, you may be blocked from editing. Sundayclose (talk) 21:38, 20 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as Edit conflict: The End (The Doors song), to Wikipedia. Doing so is considered vandalism and is prohibited. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. Under section G3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, the page has been nominated for deletion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Edit conflict: The End (The Doors song). First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – The End (The Doors song). Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at The End (The Doors song). If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. CommanderWaterford (talk) 21:50, 20 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Your edits

[edit]

Why did you create a blank category: Category:Edit conflict pages. And please stop making test edits to articles. If you want to make test edits, use your sandbox. Let me suggest that you slow down. Get used to Wikipedia before making bold edits like creating pages and categories. You've made less than 50 edits, and most of them have problems. Wikipedia grants a little flexibility for new users in making bad edits, but you are going too fast and making too many errors that are causing too many problems for others to have to deal with. You're approaching your limit of good faith and quickly reaching the point where such edits are considered disruptive. Continue on the same path and you could end up losing your editing privileges. Think about it. If you need advice, ask at WP:Village pump or article talk pages, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will come along to help. This is a notice that the page you created, Category:Edit conflict pages, was tagged as a test page under section G2 of the criteria for speedy deletion and has been or soon may be deleted. Another word of caution

[edit]

It's standard procedure (and polite) to discuss page moves before making them. At the very least you should explain your intention on the talk page. At this point I don't see a problem with your move of Through the Past Darkly, but I can't speak for others. Again, please slow down in making bold edits.
