Hi FULBERT,
I edited two articles this week. I added the content and citation into the Advantages and disadvantages section of the article Word-of-mouth marketing, and I added one sentence with a citation into the article Brand engagement to enhance the article's content. Both articles are related to my topic, and I added the content about how brand engagement and word-of-mouth marketing influence customer purchase intentions.

I inserted an image into the article Marketing channel this week. After inserting this image, I think the reader can understand the wholesaler marketing channel more directly. Bonus / Reflective essay / Jade71u
Hi FULBERT,
Editing Wikipedia articles is a new experience for me. During those weeks, I added several sentences with citations into four articles to fix the articles' gap and inserted one image to make the reader can understand the article concept more directly. When I start to evaluate and edit articles on Wikipedia, I found the articles on Wikipedia are not as perfect as what I thought before, and I learned how to read Wikipedia articles critically. Besides, I learned the difference between plagiarism and copyright violation from this assignment.
I will continue editing on Wikipedia after this class, because I think editing on Wikipedia will help me consider my topic more deeply. When I read the articles and find the errors, I will edit to fix them. Also, after I deeply research a topic, I will find and read the related articles on Wikipedia, check the articles have gaps or missing citations or not, and try to fix them.
Jade71u (talk) 17:00, 28 June 2020 (UTC)
- Jade71u, Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this experience of editing the largest encyclopedia of human knowledge ever created. Glad you had the opportunity to improve it, and hoping you will continue! FULBERT (talk) 23:07, 28 June 2020 (UTC)
Week 4/ Add 2 Citations/ Yuxin LI
Hi Professor For this week editing, I assigned two new articles that both related to my research paper. The first one I add a sentence and add two citations, the first citation is from the website. Week 6/ Insert Image/ Totent
For the same article (the one that use to have zero citation), I have inserted an image to provide better visualization. A brief explanation is also added to the picture to better fit the article's context. The image was found within Wiki's search engine, so it can be used publicly and can be shared. With this assignment, I have learned how to insert image and how to find images that are permitted to be shared on Wikipedia.

Week 5/ Add 2 Citations/ Totent
For this week, I am still focusing on my previous article that has zero citation in it. I added two more references to the article and added explanations in my own words. I also took out the definition that was previsouly there, as it has no sources to back it up. The wording was hard to understand, and I replaced them with simpler version and used a credible source to support the definition as well.
