Sabrina's British Accent in Filmation

I saw the cartoon, and while nobody says she was an immigrant, she for some reason has an English accent, so the cartoon is reliable for proof on the accent. Watch the cartoon and you'll totally see what I mean. [User talk:Iamcool34234|Iamcool34234 (talk)]] 11:16, 6 February 2020 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Iamcool34234 (talkcontribs)

The statement of I reverted was "In this version, she and her aunts are English immigrants due to their British accents," and your claim Iamcool34234 of her being an English immigrant was presented without credible evidence. --- FULBERT (talk) 17:39, 6 February 2020 (UTC)

New Page Reviewer newsletter February 2020

Hello FULBERT,

Source Guide Discussion

The first NPP source guide discussion is now underway. It covers a wide range of sources in Ghana with the goal of providing more guidance to reviewers about sources they might see when reviewing pages. Hopefully, new page reviewers will join others interested in reliable sources and those with expertise in these sources to make the discussion a success.

Redirects

New to NPP? Looking to try something a little different? Consider patrolling some redirects. Redirects are relatively easy to review, can be found easily through the New Pages Feed. You can find more information about how to patrol redirects at WP:RPATROL.

Discussions and Resources
Refresher

Geographic regions, areas and places generally do not need general notability guideline type sourcing. When evaluating whether an article meets this notability guideline please also consider whether it might actually be a form of WP:SPAM for a development project (e.g. PR for a large luxury residential development) and not actually covered by the guideline.

Thank you

I appreciate your having looked over my most recent article, the American Banjo Museum and for   assessing its importance for the various Wikiprojects. You pointed it out as the work of a fan, and I would have to say, "You’re right." It was enthusiasm for the place who got me to write the article, and I doubt my ability to be impartial enough to take a razor to it today. Looking at it, I’m thinking too much info about the museum's origins. That is as far as I'm getting right now. Can you make any suggestions as to how to modify it? Thank you, Jacqke (talk) 22:10, 22 February 2020 (UTC)

Jacqke, Thanks for your work on this article. In that comment, what I intended to focus on included the removal or revision of some language that seemed more conversational rather than encyclopedic in tone. For example, the article states "The tour starts off with a walking tour through a still-life scene inspired by the painting The Banjo Lesson by Henry Ossawa Tanner, in which an elderly African-American man teaches a young boy to play the banjo. . . . The tour covers the Minstrel Era, when the banjo began to be appropriated by Anglo-American culture. The museum tries to show the transition from a folk instrument of slaves to an instrument considered "American" today..." All this is accurate, though it seems a little more conversational, as if you were telling me about this museum, than objective and the facts alone. Minor point, though I believe this will strengthen this article overall by shortening some of the claims that are made and focusing on what is actually there, rather than how an individual experiences it. Thanks for asking about this, which is something I wish more people who write articles and want to engage in conversation to help to make them even stronger would consider doing. FULBERT (talk) 16:20, 23 February 2020 (UTC)
I will work on revisions this week. Thanks again, Jacqke (talk) 11:01, 24 February 2020 (UTC)
