Nintendo task force membership update
[edit]Hello,
It's that time again to update membership status with the Nintendo task force, which we try to do every 3-4 months (though it's been actually 6 months since the last one) to keep our membership up-to-date.
All participants have been placed on an "Inactive participants" list. To confirm that you're still a member of the Nintendo task force, simply go to Wikipedia:WikiProject Video games/Nintendo#Members and move your name from the "Inactive participants" list to the bottom of the "Active participants" list. If you are no longer an active member in the task force, you may simply remove your name altogether. After 1 month, on 1 April 2010, all entries under the "Inactive participants" list will be removed. Hopefully you can stay with us and continue to work on Nintendo-related articles. Regards, –MuZemike 17:28, 1 March 2010 (UTC)

Navagation Bar
[edit]How would I make a navigation bar like you have on your user pages? Having a navaigation bar seems to clean up the page. Sign My Guestbook! User:Sumsum2010 15:24, 30 March 2010 (UTC)
- Navagation Bars are very simple and easy to make with a good knowledge of coding. Take mine for example, all you would have to do is copy mine and replace anywhere it says my username and insert yours.--Ezekiel 7:19 Le†'s Go Buffalo! (sign) 13:56, 31 March 2010 (UTC)

I added:
to the bottom of my nav. bar. Is this ok atribution? Sign My Guestbook! User:Sumsum2010 20:19, 31 March 2010 (UTC)
- It's fine, but I still recommend changing the images and colors and possibly adding new pages that were not there before. If you want to look for different images, you can look around at other people's Nav Bars and sort of make a more original bar. You can go here for some colors.--Ezekiel 7:19 Le†'s Go Buffalo! What language does Wikipedia use for coding?
[edit]Pretty sure it's PHP, hence the index.php? up at the top ... assuming that's what you meant by code language. Hope that helps. —Soap— 00:22, 3 April 2010 (UTC)

File copyright problem with File:Jimmy bonneau roc.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:Jimmy bonneau roc.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 23:28, 5 May 2010 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for File:Path_of_radiance_group.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Path_of_radiance_group.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? Melesse (talk) 04:57, 15 May 2010 (UTC)

Reviewer granted
[edit]You have been granted the 'reviewer' userright, allowing you to to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, will be commencing a a two-month trial at approximately 23:00, 2010 June 15 (UTC).
Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under flagged protection. Flagged protection is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial.
When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.
If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. –xenotalk 13:32, 15 June 2010 (UTC)

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:GFR logo.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:GFR logo.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Aspects (talk) 00:48, 30 October 2010 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image File:Path of radiance group.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Path of radiance group.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 04:11, 11 December 2016 (UTC)
