Elito Circa

[edit]

Hi. I'd like to explain the problem with what you are putting into the lead on the Elito Circa article. Phrases like "internationally recognised" are what we call peacocking. They express an opinion of the article subject, without actually telling the reader anything factual. What do you mean by "internationally recognised"? Recognised by who? In what way? If he has won international awards, then that can be detailed elsewhere in the lead. It is also best to not guess what he is "known for". If he wasn't known for painting in a particular way, it wouldn't be mentioned in the lead. And it isn't explained who is doing the "knowing". Best to just factually state what he does without worrying how and who knows him for it. Thanks. --Escape Orbit (Talk) 10:22, 8 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
