Copy/paste

Please don't ever copy the content of one article to paste it into another, as you did with BKN and Bohbot Kids Network. This breaks up the edit history of the article, which is needed for attribution and copyright purposes. Instead, please see WP:RM for the correct procedure to move a page to a different title. I am undoing your edits to these two pages for the time being. --R'n'B (call me Russ) 18:44, 4 July 2014 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 2014 Los Angeles Dodgers season, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Miller Park. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 08:53, 5 July 2014 (UTC)

Hi, JCRules! I noticed you revised the 2014 Chicago Cubs season article; thanks for your work. Is there a reason, however, that you removed the "detailed records" section (the month-by-month spits, divisional records, etc.)? Thanks, Tyrol5 [Talk] 13:05, 1 August 2014 (UTC)

Eurasian Economic Union (2014)

Hello JCRules, I wanted to ask you to fix some minor errors on your map of the Eurasian Economic Union (File:Eurasian Economic Union (2014).svg). Sakhalin, the Kuril Islands, and some northern islands are all a part of Russia, and Crimea should be light green like on the main map as it is a disputed region. Thank you. --KronosLine (talk) 02:14, 5 August 2014 (UTC)

Please read this notification carefully:
A community decision has authorised the use of general sanctions for pages related to the Syrian Civil War and the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant. The details of these sanctions are described here. All pages that are broadly related to these topics are subject to a one revert per twenty-four hours restriction, as described here.

General sanctions is a system of conduct regulation designed to minimise disruption in controversial topic areas. This means uninvolved administrators can impose sanctions for edits relating to these topics that do not adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, our standards of behaviour, or relevant policies. Administrators may impose sanctions such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks. An editor can only be sanctioned after he or she has been made aware that general sanctions are in effect. This notification is meant to inform you that sanctions are authorised in these topic areas, which you have been editing. It is only effective if it is logged here. Before continuing to edit pages in these topic areas, please familiarise yourself with the general sanctions system. Don't hesitate to contact me or another editor if you have any questions.

This message is informational only and does not imply misconduct regarding your contributions to date. With regards to your recent requested move at Talk:2014 military intervention against the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant#Requested move 4 please read the moratorium in the header section of talk:Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant -- PBS (talk) 08:46, 24 October 2014 (UTC)

The above is a notification it is not a warning. I can see from you edit history that you probably had no idea that you had stepped into an an area that carries such notifications. Perhaps if you read "Wikipedia:Administrators'_noticeboard#Request for clarification on Syrian Civil War and ISIL sanctions - warning policy" it will help explain what it is all about and why the community considers it necessary. -- PBS (talk) 09:37, 24 October 2014 (UTC)

I hate to bother u

I really hate to keep bothering u but can you do the cleveland cavliers game logs I can do the stats for them thxs AnthonyEaster24 (talk) — Preceding undated comment added 01:13, 1 November 2014 (UTC)

I apologize, but I've been busy lately. The creating of a regular season game log is time-consuming and there are outside factors preventing me from making large edits. I'm sorry, but you have to find someone else. I apologize for the inconvenience. JC · Talk · Contributions 05:26, 1 November 2014 (UTC)

Resurrection of Southern California Task Force

After moving from Los Angeles County to Kern County to San Luis Obispo County, I am finally realizing that there is life in California outside of L.A. and San Francisco, where I lived and grew up. Oh, I have also lived in San Diego, San Bernardino, San Joaquin, Yolo and Sacramento counties, and I earned my undergraduate degree in Riverside County. I am trying to breathe life into the Southern California Task Force, and I hope you will join me. Could you visit our list of participants at the other end of this link and update your description of what you are interested in doing for us, assuming that you still want to be in the mix, that is.

In recompense, I will buy you a drink during the Wikipedia Welcome Week I am planning for Morro Bay on the Central Coast in July. Yours sincerely, BeenAroundAWhile (talk) 18:55, 3 May 2015 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on User:JCRules/San Diego Frost requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section U5 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to consist of writings, information, discussions, and/or activities not closely related to Wikipedia's goals. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Feel free to re-add your info. A vandal has caused such disruption is was better to go back to previous revision rather than try finding errors and fixing individually.   Spartan7W §   00:47, 6 March 2016 (UTC)
